| 1 | Efficient lung cancer-targeted drug delivery via a nanoparticle/MSC system显示文摘Low targeting efficiency limits the applications of nanoparticles in cancer therapy. The fact that mesenchymal stem cells(MSC) trapped in the lung after systemic infusion is a disadvantage for cell therapy purposes. Here, we utilized MSC as lung cancer-targeted drug delivery vehicles by loading nanoparticles(NP)with anti-cancer drug. MSC showed a higher drug intake capacity than fibroblasts. In addition, MSC showed predominant lung trapping in both rabbit and monkey. IR-780 dye, a fluorescent probe used to represent docetaxel(DTX) in NP, delivered via MSC accumulated in the lung. Both in vitro MSC/A549 cell experiments and in vivo MSC/lung cancer experiments validated the intercellular transportation of NP between MSC and cancer cells. In vivo assays showed that the MSC/NP/DTX drug delivery system exerted primary tumor inhibition efficiency similar to that of a NP/DTX drug system. | 7 | Analysis of Imaging Characteristics and Dynamic Changes of 3 Cases of Severe Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia in Qinghai Province显示文摘Objective:To analyze the characteristics,dynamic changes,and outcomes of the first imaging manifestations of 3 patients with severe COVID-19 in our hospital.Methods:Computed tomography(CT)findings of 3 patients with severe COVID-19 who tested positive by the nucleic acid test in our hospital were selected,mainly focusing on the morphology,distribution characteristics,and dynamic changes of the first CT findings.Results:3 patients with severe pneumonia were older,with one aged 80.The first chest CT examination for all 3 patients differed.Imaging showed a leafy distribution of consolidation,primarily affecting the lower lobes of both lungs and extending subpleurally.A grid-like pattern was observed,along with changes in the consolidation and air bronchogram.These changes had slower absorption,especially in patients with underlying diseases.Conclusion:CT manifestations of severe COVID-19 have specific characteristics and the analysis of their characteristics and dynamic changes provide valuable insights for clinical treatment. | Yingfang Yu Ruiyun Zhao Changde Li Fuqiang Ma Lingyun Guo Yang Li | 2024 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2024,8,3: | 0 |
| 8 | Dark energy versus modified gravity: Impacts on measuring neutrino mass显示文摘In this paper,we make a comparison for the impacts of smooth dynamical dark energy,modified gravity,and interacting dark energy on the cosmological constraints on the total mass of active neutrinos.For definiteness,we consider theΛCDM model,the w CDM model,the f(R)model,and two typical interacting vacuum energy models,i.e.,the IΛCDM1 model with Q=βHρc and the IΛCDM2 model with Q=βHρΛ.In the cosmological fits,we use the Planck 2015 temperature and polarization data,in combination with other low-redshift observations including the baryon acoustic oscillations,the type Ia supernovae,the Hubble constant measurement,and the large-scale structure observations,such as the weak lensing as well as the redshift-space distortions.Besides,the Planck lensing measurement is also employed in this work.We find that,the w CDM model favors a higher upper limit on the neutrino mass compared to theΛCDM model,while the upper limit in the f(R)model is similar with that in theΛCDM model.For the interacting vacuum energy models,the IΛCDM1 model favors a higher upper limit on neutrino mass,while the IΛCDM2 model favors an identical neutrino mass with the case ofΛCDM. | MingMing Zhao RuiYun Guo DongZe He JingFei Zhang Xin Zhang | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3: | 0 |
| 9 | The role of surface charges in the blinking mechanisms and quantum-confined Stark effect of single colloidal quantum dots显示文摘The two frequently observed phenomena,photoluminescence(PL)blinking and quantum-confined Stark effect(QCSE)-induced spectral diffusion,are not conducive to the applications of colloidal quantum dots(QDs).It remains elusive how these two phenomena are linked to each other.Unraveling the potential link between blinking and QCSE could facilitate the adoption of appropriate strategies that can simultaneously suppress both PL blinking and spectral diffusion.In this work,we investigated the blinking mechanism and QCSE of single CdSe/CdS/ZnS QDs in the presence of positive and negative surface charges using single-dot PL spectroscopy.We found that the negative surface charges can simultaneously suppress PL blinking and spectral diffusion of single QDs.On the other hand,the positive surface charges could change the blinking mechanisms of QDs from Auger-blinking to band-edge carrier(BC)-blinking.Two types of QCSE were observed,and a significant QCSE-induced spectral broadening of 5.25 nm was measured,which could be attributed to the hopping of surface charges between different surface-trap sites.Based on these findings,several theoretical models are proposed to explain various phenomena observed. | Jialu Li Dengfeng Wang Guofeng Zhang Changgang Yang Wenli Guo Xue Han Xiuqing Bai Ruiyun Chen Chengbing Qin Jianyong Hu Liantuan Xiao Suotang Jia | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 0 |
