Effects of Magnetic Field on Entropy Generation in Flow and Heat Transfer due to a Radially Stretching Surface显示文摘We investigate the effects of magnetic field on the entropy generation during fluid flow and heat transfer due to the radially stretching surface. The partial differential equations governing the flow and heat transfer phenomenon are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations by using suitable similarity transformations. These equations are then solved by the homotopy analysis method and the shooting technique. The effects of the magnetic field parameter M and the Prandtl number Pr on velocity and the temperature profiles are presented. Moreover, influence of the magnetic field parameter M and the group parameter Br/Ω on the local entropy generation number Ns as well as the Bejan number Be are inspected. It is observed that the magnetic field is a strong source of entropy production in the considered problem. | Adnan Saeed Butt Asif Ali | 2013 | Chinese Physics Letters2013,30,2: | 3
使用激波控制鼓包的跨声速超临界机翼减阻研究(英文)显示文摘对采用激波控制鼓包进行超临界机翼的跨声速机翼减阻进行了研究。NASASC(02)-0714被选作超临界翼型。 Asif Saeed | 2012 | Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2012,29,3: | 3

Differential evolution based computation intelligence solver for elliptic partial differential equations显示文摘A differential evolution based methodology is introduced for the solution of elliptic partial differential equations (PDEs) with Dirichlet and/or Neumann boundary conditions. The solutions evolve over bounded domains throughout the interior nodes by minimization of nodal deviations among the population. The elliptic PDEs are replaced by the corresponding system of finite difference approximation, yielding an expression for nodal residues. The global residue is declared as the root-mean-square value of the nodal residues and taken as the cost function. The standard differential evolution is then used for the solution of elliptic PDEs by conversion to a minimization problem of the global residue. A set of benchmark problems consisting of both linear and nonlinear elliptic PDEs has been considered for validation, proving the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. To demonstrate its robustness, sensitivity analysis has been carried out for various differential evolution operators and parameters. Comparison of the differential evolution based computed nodal values with the corresponding data obtained using the exact analytical expressions shows the accuracy and convergence of the proposed methodology. | Muhammad Faisal FATEH Aneela ZAMEER Sikander MMIRZA Nasir MMIRZA Muhammad Saeed ASLAM Muhammad Asif Zahoor RAJA | 2019 | Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2019,20,10: | 1

Countrywide Survey for MERS-Coronavirus Antibodies in Dromedaries and Humans in Pakistan显示文摘Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) is a zoonotic pathogen capable of causing severe respiratory disease in humans. Although dromedary camels are considered as a major reservoir host, the MERS-CoV infection dynamics in camels are not fully understood. Through surveillance in Pakistan, nasal (n = 776) and serum (n = 1050)samples were collected from camels between November 2015 and February 2018. Samples were collected from animal markets, free-roaming herds and abattoirs. An in-house ELISA was developed to detect IgG against MERS-CoV. A total of 794 camels were found seropositive for MERS-CoV. Prevalence increased with the age and the highest seroprevalence was recorded in camels aged [ 10 years (81.37%) followed by those aged 3.1–10 years (78.65%) and B 3 years (58.19%).Higher prevalence was observed in female (78.13%) as compared to male (70.70%). Of the camel nasal swabs, 22 were found to be positive by RT-qPCR though with high Ct values. Moreover, 2,409 human serum samples were also collected from four provinces of Pakistan during 2016–2017. Among the sampled population, 840 humans were camel herders.Although we found a high rate of MERS-CoV antibody positive dromedaries (75.62%) in Pakistan, no neutralizing antibodies were detected in humans with and without contact to camels. | Ali Zohaib Muhammad Saqib Muhammad Ammar Athar Jing Chen Awais-ur-Rahman Sial Saeed Khan Zeeshan Taj Halima Sadia Usman Tahir Muhammad Haleem Tayyab Muhammad Asif Qureshi Muhammad Khalid Mansoor Muhammad Ahsan Naeem Bing-Jie Hu Bilal Ahmed Khan Ikram Din Ujjan Bei Li Wei Zhang Yun Luo Yan Zhu Cecilia Waruhiu Iahtasham Khan Xing-Lou Yang Muhammad Sohail Sajid Victor Max Corman Bing Yan Zheng-Li Shi | 2018 | Virologica Sinica2018,33,5: | 1

| Muhammad Asif Zahoor RAJA Muhammad Saeed ASLAM Naveed Ishtiaq CHAUDHARY Wasim Ullah KHAN | 2018 | Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2018,19,2: | 0
Analytical behavior of weakly dispersive surface and internal waves in the ocean显示文摘The(2+1)-dimensional interaction of a Riemann wave propagating along the y-axis with a long wave along the x-axis is described by the space-time fractional Calogero-Degasperis(CD)and fractional poten-tial Kadomstev-Petviashvili(PKP)equation.It can be modeled according to the Hamiltonian structure, the lax pair with the non-isospectral problem, and the pain level property. The proposed equations are widely used in beachfront ocean and coastal engineering to describe the propagation of shallow-water waves, demonstrate the propagation of waves in dissipative and nonlinear media, and reveal the propagation of waves in dissipative and nonlinear media. In this paper,we have established further exact solutions to the nonlinear fractional partial differential equation(NLFPDEs),namely the space-time fractional CD and fractional PKP equations using the modified Rieman-Liouville fractional derivative of Jumarie through the two variable(G/G,1/G)-expansion method. As far as trigonometric, hyperbolic, and rational function so-lutions containing parameters are concerned, solutions are acquired when unique characteristics are as-signed to the parameters.Subsequently, the solitary wave solutions are generated from the solutions of the traveling wave.It is important to observe that this method is a realistic,convenient,well-organized,and ground-breaking strategy for solving various types of NLFPDEs. | Mohammad Asif Arefin Md.Abu Saeed M.Ali Akbar M.Hafiz Uddin | 2022 | Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science2022,7,4: | 0
Cartesian Product Based Transfer Learning Implementation for Brain Tumor Classification显示文摘Knowledge-based transfer learning techniques have shown good performance for brain tumor classification, especially with small datasets. However,to obtain an optimized model for targeted brain tumor classification,it is challenging to select a pre-trained deep learning(DL)model, optimal values of hyperparameters, and optimization algorithm(solver). This paper first presents a brief review of recent literature related to brain tumor classification.Secondly,a robust framework for implementing the transfer learning technique is proposed. In the proposed framework,a Cartesian product matrix is generated to determine the optimal values of the two important hyperparameters:batch size and learning rate.An extensive exercise consisting of 435 simulations for 11 state-of-the-art pre-trained DL models was performed using 16 paired hyperparameters from the Cartesian product matrix to input the model with the three most popular solvers(stochastic gradient descent with momentum(SGDM),adaptive moment estimation(ADAM),and root mean squared propagation(RMSProp)).The 16 pairs were formed using individual hyperparameter values taken from literature, which generally addressed only one hyperparameter for optimization, rather than making a grid for a particular range. The proposed framework was assessed using a multi-class publicly available dataset consisting of glioma, meningioma, and pituitary tumors.Performance assessment shows that ResNet18 outperforms all other models in terms of accuracy, precision, specificity, and recall(sensitivity). The results are also compared with existing state-of-the-art research work that used the same dataset. The comparison was mainly based on performance metric“accuracy”with support of three other parameters“precision,”“recall,”and“specificity.”The comparison shows that the transfer learning technique, implemented through our proposed framework for brain tumor classification, outperformed all existing approaches. To the best of our knowledge, the proposed framework is an efficient framework that helped reduce the computational complexity and the time to attain optimal values of two important hyperparameters and consequently the optimized model with an accuracy of 99.56%. | Irfan Ahmed Usmani Muhammad Tahir Qadri Razia Zia Asif Aziz Farheen Saeed | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,11: | 0
Sustainable-Security Assessment Through a Multi Perspective Benchmarking Framework显示文摘The current cyber-attack environment has put even the most protected systems at risk as the hackers are nowmodifying technologies to exploit even the tiniest of weaknesses and infiltrate networks. In this situation,it’s critical to design and construct software that is both secure and long-lasting.While security is the most well-defined aspect of health information software systems,it is equally significant to prioritise sustainability because any health information software system will be more effective if it provides both security and sustainability to the customers at the same time.In this league,it is crucial to determine those characteristics in the systems that can help in the accurate assessment of the sustainable-security of the health information software during the development stage. This research work employed the Fuzzy Analytic Network Process(Fuzzy ANP)to estimate the impact of the overall sustainable-security of health information software systems and their characteristics in order to achieve a high level of sustainable-security.Furthermore,the study validates the efficacy of the Fuzzy ANP procedure by testing it on five different versions of a health information software system through Fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions(Fuzzy TOPSIS).Despite the sensitivity of the health information software systems, this study employedmultiple versions of health information software system. When compared with the existing procedures for testing the sustainable-security of health information software systems, the outcomes were conclusive and significantly more effective.Besides saving time and resources, the mechanism suggested in this research work aims to establish an outline that software practitioners can follow to enhance the sustainablesecurity of health information software systems. | Ahmed Saeed Alfakeeh Abdulmohsen Almalawi Fawaz Jaber Alsolami Yoosef B.Abushark Asif Irshad Khan Adel Aboud SBahaddad Md Mottahir Alam Alka Agrawal Rajeev Kumar Raees Ahmad Khan | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,6: | 0
Assessment of Biochemical and Antioxidative Status in Patients Suffering from Dengue Fever显示文摘A multi-centred study was designed to collect dengue epidemiologic data from government and registered private hospitals/clinics and maintained archive of frozen specimens in bio-bank to be used for future dengue epidemic control program, and assess the epidemiology of dengue fever(DF) by evaluating biochemical and oxidative status of patients. ELISA Ig M antibodies test was done to confirm DF. From August 2010 to December 2011, 101 confirmed blood samples of DF patients referred to pathology lab of Jinnah Hospital Lahore were subjected to the epidemiologic assessment by evaluating the biochemical and physiological indices and alterations of circulating antioxidants. Clinical features of DF patients and effect of fever on blood components and serum proteins of liver were recorded. The hospital stay in DF, dengue hemorrhagic fever(DHF) and dengue shock syndrome(DSS) showed significant difference. Significant increases in serum alanine amino transferase(ALT)(P=0.000), aspartate amino transferase(AST)(P=0.000), alkaline phosphatase(ALP)(P=0.000), malondialdehyde(MDA) along with significant decreases in total protein(TP)(P=0.000), reduced glutathione(GSH)(P=0.000), superoxide dismutase(SOD), catalase(CAT)(P=0.000), and sialic acid contents(P=0.016) were observed. A positive correlation existed between bound sialic acid levels, liver enzymes and circulating antioxidants(r=0.656, P=0.016). In the present study, alterations of circulating antioxidants in DF suggest that DF might be a metabolic response to an acute, self-limiting tropical viral infection, and a consequence of the viral inflammatory process. | Mahmood Rasool Arif Malik Khalid Mahmud Khan Muhammad Saeed Qureshi Beenish Shabbir Sara Zahid Muhammad Asif Abdul Manan Sana Rashid Saima Rubab Khan Hafiz Muhammad Arsalan Rabail Alam Mahwish Arooj Mahmood Husain Qazi Adeel Gulzar Ahmed Chaudhary Adel Mohammed Abuzenadah Mohammed Hussain Al-Qahtani Sajjad Karim | 2015 | Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology(Medical Sciences)2015,35,3: | 0

An Automated System to Predict Popular Cybersecurity News Using Document Embeddings显示文摘The substantial competition among the news industries puts editors under the pressure of posting news articleswhich are likely to gain more user attention. Anticipating the popularity of news articles can help the editorial teamsin making decisions about posting a news article. Article similarity extracted from the articles posted within a smallperiod of time is found to be a useful feature in existing popularity prediction approaches. This work proposesa new approach to estimate the popularity of news articles by adding semantics in the article similarity basedapproach of popularity estimation. A semantically enriched model is proposed which estimates news popularity bymeasuring cosine similarity between document embeddings of the news articles. Word2vec model has been used togenerate distributed representations of the news content. In this work, we define popularity as the number of timesa news article is posted on different websites. We collect data from different websites that post news concerning thedomain of cybersecurity and estimate the popularity of cybersecurity news. The proposed approach is comparedwith different models and it is shown that it outperforms the other models. | Ramsha Saeed Saddaf Rubab Sara Asif Malik M.Khan Saeed Murtaza Seifedine Kadry Yunyoung Nam Muhammad Attique Khan | 2021 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,5: | 0
