1Synthesis of N-methylene phosphonic chitosan(NMPCS)and its potential as gene carder显示文摘N-Methylene phosphoulc chitosan (NMPCS),an amphiphilic macromolecule with powerful chelating ability of Ca^(2+) ions,was synthesized and characterized.The physicochemical properties of NMPCS and the interactions between NMPCS and plasmid DNA were investigated by FTIR,^(13)C NMR,X-ray,agarose gel electrophorcsis retardation assay,atomic force microscopy (AFM) and circular dichroism (CD).The results suggest that at charge ratio 2:1 or above,DNA could be completely entrapped and spherical complexes with mean size of 80-210 nm were formed.Taking HeLa as host cell,luciferase expression mediated by NMPCS improved about 100 times compared to the expression mediated by chitosan.Dun Wan Zhu Jin Gen Bo Hai Ling Zhang Wen Guang Liu Xi Gang Leng Cun Xian Song Yu Ji Yin Li Ping Song Lan Xia Liu Lin Mei Xiu Lan Li Yang Zhang Kang De Yao 2007Chinese Chemical Letters2007,18,11:3
2Cytochalasin B loaded nano/microparticles:preparation and in vitro drug release evaluation显示文摘Cytochalasin B (cytoB) loaded nanoparticles (NPs) and microspheres (MSs) were formed using an emulsification / solvent evaporation technique.Biodegradable poly(lactic co glycolic acid)(PLGA) and poly(L lactic acid)(PLLA)were used as carrier and were compared in terms of drug release rate and initial burst.The PLGA nanoparticles and microparticles of graded diameter,150 nm,500 nm,1 μm,5 μm,10 μm and 20 μm,is formulated.Nanoparticles of 150 500 nm diameter were obtained by high energy sonication,whereas larger size particles were obtained by normal homogenization.The degree of initial burst release varied depending on particle size and polymer matrix.For the PLGA matrix,about 50% of the entrapped drug released from the 150 nm nanoparticles,whereas only 10% released from the 20 μm particles within the first 24 hours.On the other hand,cytoB release from 150 nm PLLA nanoparticles was much slower and showed less burst effect than the PLGA ones with same size.The results suggest that desired release profile can be achieved by properly selecting the matrix material and particle size.SONG Cun xian SUN Hong fan YANG Jin ZHU Zhen feng WANG Peng yan Robert Levy 2000Chinese Journal of Biomedical Engineering(English Edition)2000,9,1:1

4A Novel Pentadecanuclear Neodymium Cluster: Synthesis and Structure of [Nd_(15)(μ_4-tyr)_(10)(μ_3-OH)_(20)(μ_2-OH)_4(OH)_(10)(μ_2-H_2O)-(H_2O)_(10)][Na(ClO_4)_2]·61H_2O显示文摘The title complex was synthesized by dissolving tyrosine (tyr) in an aqueous solution ofNd(ClO4)3 at NpH5, and its crystal stfucture was determined by X-ray diffraction methods. Thecomplex is a novel pentadecanuclear with the 15 Nd3+ ions connected by μ3-OH- ions. The tyrosineligands are all in their anionic form, and each coordinates to the neodymium ions via the nitrogenatom of the amino group and the two carboxyl oxygen atoms.
