| 1 | Improving the electrical performance of resistive switching memory using doping technology显示文摘In this paper, improvements of resistive random access memory (RRAM) using doping technology are summarized and analyzed. Based on a Cu/ZrO2/Pt device, three doping technologies with Ti ions, Cu, and Cu nanocrystal, respectively, are adopted in the experiments. Compared to an undoped device, improvements focus on four points: eliminating the electroforming process, reducing operation voltage, improving electrical uniformity, and increasing device yield. In addition, thermal stability of the high resistance state and better retention are also achieved by the doping technology. | 2 | Traditional Chinese Medicine Automated Diagnosis Based on Knowledge Graph Reasoning显示文摘Syndrome differentiation is the core diagnosis method of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).We propose a method that simulates syndrome differentiation through deductive reasoning on a knowledge graph to achieve automated diagnosis in TCM.We analyze the reasoning path patterns from symptom to syndromes on the knowledge graph.There are two kinds of path patterns in the knowledge graph:one-hop and two-hop.The one-hop path pattern maps the symptom to syndromes immediately.The two-hop path pattern maps the symptom to syndromes through the nature of disease,etiology,and pathomechanism to support the diagnostic reasoning.Considering the different support strengths for the knowledge paths in reasoning,we design a dynamic weight mechanism.We utilize Naïve Bayes and TF-IDF to implement the reasoning method and the weighted score calculation.The proposed method reasons the syndrome results by calculating the possibility according to the weighted score of the path in the knowledge graph based on the reasoning path patterns.We evaluate the method with clinical records and clinical practice in hospitals.The preliminary results suggest that the method achieves high performance and can help TCM doctors make better diagnosis decisions in practice.Meanwhile,the method is robust and explainable under the guide of the knowledge graph.It could help TCM physicians,especially primary physicians in rural areas,and provide clinical decision support in clinical practice. | Dezheng Zhang Qi Jia Shibing Yang Xinliang Han Cong Xu Xin Liu Yonghong Xie | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,4: | 4 |
| 3 | Energy Efficiency Optimization for Heterogeneous Cellular Networks Modeled by Matérn Hard-Core Point Process显示文摘The Poisson point process(PPP) has been widely used in wireless network modeling and performance analysis due to the independence between its nodes. Therefore, it may not be a suitable model for many of the exclusive networks between the nodes. This paper analyzes the energy efficiency(EE) and optimizes the two-tier heterogeneous cellular networks(Het Nets). Considering the mutual exclusion between macro base stations(MBSs) distribution, the deployment of MBSs is modeled by the Matérn hard-core point process(MHCPP), and the deployment of pico base stations(PBSs) is modeled by the PPP. We adopt a simple approximation method to study the signal to interference ratio(SIR) distribution in two-tier MHCPP-PPP networks and then derive the coverage probabilities, the average data rates and the energy efficiency of Het Nets. Finally, an optimization algorithm is proposed to improve the EE of Het Nets by controlling the transmit power of PBSs. The simulation results show that the EE of a system can be effectively improved by selecting the appropriate transmit power for the PBSs. | 6 | miR-20b-5p attenuates hypoxia-induced apoptosis in cardiomyocytes via the HIF-1α/NF-κB pathway显示文摘Chronic hypoxia is a common inducer of end-stage cardiovascular disease.In cells under hypoxia,the hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1)plays a vital role in regulating downstream target genes.However,the mechanism of hypoxia in card io myocytes is still unclear.In this study,we aimed to identify novel downstream epigenetic targets of HIF-1α in cardiomyocytes under hypoxia.H9c2 cells were exposed to hypoxia condition,and quantitative real-time PCR analysis was performed to evaluate the expression of miR-20b-5p.The results indicated that the expression of miR-20b-5p was down-regulated in H9c2 cells under low oxygen condition.Meanwhile,HIF-1α overexpression further down-regulated the miR-20b-5p expression in H9c2 cells transfected with HIF-1α plasmids.In addition,Annexin-V-FITC/PI flow cytometry analysis suggested that overexpression of miR-20b-5p attenuated cell apoptosis under hypoxia condition in H9c2 cells.Western blot analysis showed that the hypoxia apparently increased Bax and cleaved-caspase-3,but decreased Bcl-2 expression in H9c2 cells,indicating that hypoxia-induced NF-κB signaling pathway activation is mediated by miR-20b-5p.Hypoxia-induced H9c2 cell apoptosis was reduced after HIF-1α knockdown as shown by the flow cytometry analysis.In conclusion,we identified that miR-20b-5p plays an important role in mediating cardiomyocytes apoptosis under hypoxia,which is mediated by the HIF-1/NF-κB signaling pathway. | Zhongquan Zhou Songwen Chen Zhiming Tian Shibing Deng Xuying Yi Shaning Yang Xuexin Yang Lijun Jin Wanqing Shi | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,9: | 2 |
| 7 | A Study on the Biocompatibility of MgO Coating Prepared by Anodic Oxidation Method on Magnesium Metal显示文摘Magnesium(Mg),is widely used for the bone repair in oral and orthopedic application due to excellent bioactivity,degradation and biocompatibility.However,the range of application is greatly limited because of the rapid degradation of Mg metal in the body.Surface modification is an effective method to enhance the corrosion resistance and reduce the degradation rate of Mg metal.In the present study,pure Mg metal(P-Mg)was subjected to alkali-heat treatment(AT-Mg)or anodic oxidation-heat treatment(AO-HT-Mg).Both AT-Mg and AO-HT-Mg had a layer of MgO on their surfaces after treatment.Then the effects of MgO coating on corrosion resistance,bioactivity,Mesenchymal Stem Cells’(MSCs)proliferation,adhesion and osteogenic differentiation,and the bone repair capability of Mg metal were investigated.We found both AT-Mg and AO-HT-Mg had stronger corrosion resistance than P-Mg.MSCs on both AT-Mg and AO-HT-Mg had higher expression of proteins and genes of ALP,OCN,Col-I and Runx2 than those on P-Mg.They also showed better bone repair property than P-Mg in vivo.In general,MgO layer formed by anodic oxidation-heat treatment had better resistance and biocompatibility than that produced by alkali-heat treatment.This study indicated the MgO coating not only improved the corrosion resistance of Mg metal,but also promoted the osteogenic differentiation of MSCs and bone regeneration. | Yangmei Chen Xugang Lu Fenghua Zhao Yi Hu Shibing Xiong Yuqiang Guo Ping Huang Bangcheng Yang | 2020 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,1: | 2 |

| 10 | Therapeutic effect of Jianpi Liqi Fang(健脾理气方)combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and spleen deficiency syndrome显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the therapeutic effect of the Jianpi Liqi Fang(健脾理气方,JPLQF)combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and spleen deficiency syndrome(SDS)and identify a potential indicator of efficacy.METHODS:Ninety-nine patients with HCC who were diagnosed with SDS,non-spleen deficiency syndrome(NSDS),or no syndrome(NS)were treated with JPLQF combined with TACE for three periods.Therapeutic efficacy was compared among the groups.Plasma proteins were screened using label-free discovery analysis and verified via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Furthermore,receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were analyzed to evaluate therapeutic indicators.RESULTS:After treatment,the Karnofsky Performance Status was significantly improved in the SDS group and significantly better than that in the NS group.The Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores were lower in the SDS group after treatment and lower than those in the NSDS group.However,alanine aminotransferase,carbohydrate antigen 19-9,alpha-fetoprotein,and carcinoembryonic antigen levels and white blood cell and platelet counts did not differ among the groups.Serum aspartate aminotransferase levels in the SDS group were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment,and total bilirubin levels were significantly lower in the SDS group than in the NSDS group.Label-free analysis identified 24 differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)between the SDS and NS groups,including 17 and 7 upregulated and downregulated proteins,respectively.Fibulin-5(FBLN5)displayed the largest difference in expression between the groups.ELISA confirmed that FBLN5 levels were significantly lower in the NSDS and NS groups than in the SDS group.Following treatment with JPLQF and TACE,FBLN5 expression was upregulated only in the SDS group.Furthermore,ROC curve analysis indicated that FBLN5 may serve as a potential indicator of the efficacy of JPLQF combined with TACE in patients with HCC and SDS.CONCLUSION:JPLQF combined with TACE improved quality of life,clinical TCM symptoms,and liver function in patients with HCC and SDS.FBLN5 expression was significantly altered by treatment with JPLQF and TACE in patients with HCC and SDS. | CHEN Xiaole WANG Peng MENG Zhiqiang YANG Mengdie ZHOU Wenjun SU Shibing CHEN Jian | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,1: | 1 |

| 12 | An overview of the switching parameter variation of RRAM显示文摘Resistive random access memory(RRAM) has been considered as one of the most promising candidates for next-generation nonvolatile memory, due to its advantages of simple device structure, excellent scalability, fast operation speed and low power consumption. Deeply understanding the physical mechanism and effectively controlling the statistical variation of switching parameters are the basis of fostering RRAM into commercial application. In this paper, based on the deep understanding on the mechanism of the formation and rupture of conductive filament, we summarize the methods of analyzing and modeling the statistics of switching parameters such as SET/RESET voltage, current, speed or time. Then, we analyze the distributions of switching parameters and the influencing factors. Additionally, we also sum up the analytical model of resistive switching statistics composed of the cell-based percolation model and SET/RESET switching dynamics. The results of the model can successfully explain the experimental distributions of switching parameters of the Ni O- and Hf O2-based RRAM devices. The model also provides theoretical guide on how to improve the uniformity and reliability such as disturb immunity. This paper considered the downlink transmission of multi-antenna relay-assisted cellular networks, meanwhile, a strategic sleep scheme was used in relay stations(RSs), which dynamically adjusted the RS working mode according to whether the number of users serviced by the relay exceeds a given threshold. A geometric model was built to derive the coverage probability and mean achievable rate from the MBSs to user(UE), the MBS to RS, the RS to UE links and analyze the system EE. It is shown that the energy efficiency of cellular network with strategic sleep RS is slightly higher than that of cellular network with non-sleeping strategy. | 18 | Regulation of the Macrophage Phenotype on Titanium Metal by Surface Modification显示文摘The regulation of macrophage phenotype(M1/M2)is very important for tissue repair.The macrophage phenotypes could be affected by the physical and chemical parameters of implant surface.The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of surface modifications of titanium metals on macrophage phenotype.The medical pure titanium metals(PT-Ti)subjected to Anodic Oxidation(AO-Ti),Sand Blasting/acid etching(SLA-Ti)and Plasma-sprayed HA coating(HA coating-Ti)were used for regulating the phenotype of macrophage.The results showed that the Raw264.7 cells of AO-Ti groups had no obvious pseudopodia and could spread evenly in all directions.The levels of IL-1βand TNF-α,which belong to pro-inflammatory genes,expressed by the cells on AO-Ti groups were the lowest among all of the modified titanium groups.But,the levels of IL-10 and TGF-β,which belong to anti-inflammatory genes,expressed on AO-Ti groups were much higher than those on the other groups.Furthermore,the AO-Ti could regulate the expression of SOCS-1 and SOCS-3 to affect the active of NF-κB signaling.The gene expression results of macrophages showed that the AO-Ti was more conductive to inhibit the expression of M1-related genes and promote the expression of M2-related genes in an inflammatory environment.The AO-Ti was more beneficial to tissue repair than other modified titanium metals.The results showed that the anodic oxidation is an effective method to regulate the phenotype of macrophages. | Shibing Xiong Xugang Lu Rui Zuo Ping Huang Bangcheng Yang | 2022 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2022,19,6: | 0 |
| 19 | Affine & Scale-Invariant Heterogeneous Pyramid Features for Automatic Matching of High Resolution Pushbroom Imagery from Chang'e 2 Satellite显示文摘The automatic feature extracting and matching for large amount of linear pushbroom imagery with higher and higher resolution is urgent and challenging in three dimensional reconstructions, remote sensing and mapping. Affine & scale-invariant heterogeneous pyramid feature is proposed in this paper, along with the new scale-invariant analysis method, the detecting of the key points, the affine & scale-invariant descriptor, the steering method of the matching, and the quasi-dense matching algorithm based on the extensive epipolar geometry. The automatic matching is devised for the linear pushbroom imagery.
