| 1 | Hydrophobicity mechanism of non-smooth pattern on surface of butterfly wing显示文摘Twenty-nine species (24 genera, 6 families) of butterflies typical and common in northeast China were selected to make qualitative and quantitative studies on the pattern, hydrophobicity and hydrophobicity mechanism by means of scanning electron microscopy and contact angle measuring system. The scale surface is composed of submicro-class vertical gibbosities and horizontal links. The distance of scale is 48—91 μm, length 65—150 μm, and width 35—70 μm. The distance of submicro-class vertical gib-bosities on scale is 1.06—2.74 μm, height 200—900 nm, and width 200—840 nm. The better hydropho-bicity on the surface of butterfly wing (static contact angle 136.3°—156.6°) is contributed to the co-effects of micro-class scale and submicro-class vertical gibbosities on the wing surface. | 2 | A CFD/CSD model for aeroelastic calculations of large-scale wind turbines显示文摘In this paper,a CFD/CSD model coupling N-S equations and structural equations of motion in the time domain is described for aeroelastic analysis of large wind turbines.The structural modes of blades are analyzed with one-dimensional beam models.By combining point matched sliding grid for wind turbine rotation and deforming grid for structural vibrations,a hybrid dynamic grid strategy is designed for the multi-block structured grid system of a wind turbine.The dual time-stepping approach and finite volume scheme are applied to the three-dimensional unsteady preconditioned N-S equations,and DES approach is employed to simulate the unsteady massively separated flows.A modal approach is adopted to calculate the structural response,and a predictor-corrector scheme is used to solve the structural equations of motion.CFD and CSD solvers are tightly coupled via successive iterations within each physical time step.As a result,a time-domain CFD/CSD model for aeroelastic analysis of a large wind turbine is achieved.The presented method is applied to the NH1500 large wind turbine under the rated condition,and the calculated aeroelastic characteristics agree well with those of the prescribed vortex wake method. | GUO TongQing LU ZhiLiang TANG Di WANG TongGuang DONG Lu | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,1: | 11 |
| 3 | Spatial Heterogeneity of Soil Mineral Oxide Components in Depression Between Karst Hills,Southwest China显示文摘In karst regions,the spatial heterogeneity of soil mineral oxides and environmental variables is still not clear.We investigated the spatial heterogeneity of SiO2,Al2O3,Fe2O3,CaO,MgO,P2O5,K2O,and MnO contents in the soils of slope land,plantation forest,secondary forest,and primary forest,as well as their relationships with environmental variables in a karst region of Southwest China.Geostatistics,principal component analysis(PCA),and canonical correlation analysis(CCA)were applied to analyze the field data.The results show that SiO2was the predominant mineral in the soils(45.02%–67.33%),followed by Al2O3and Fe2O3.Most soil mineral oxide components had a strong spatial dependence,except for CaO,MgO,and P2O5in the plantation forest,MgO and P2O5in the secondary forest,and CaO in the slope land.Dimensionality reduction in PCA was not appropriate due to the strong spatial heterogeneity in the ecosystems.Soil mineral oxide components,the main factors in all ecosystems,had greater influences on vegetation than those of conventional soil properties.There were close relationships between soil mineral oxide components and vegetation,topography,and conventional soil properties.Mineral oxide components affected species diversity,organic matter and nitrogen levels. | DU Hu WANG Kelin PENG Wanxia ZENG Fuping SONG Tongqing ZHANG Hao LU Shiyang | 2014 | Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,2: | 9 |

| 5 | Junction and Evolution of the Qinling,Qilian and Kunlun Orogenic Belts显示文摘As the main part of the 'central mountain system' in the continent of China, the Qinling, Qilian and Kunlun orogenic belts have been comprehensively and deeply studied since the 1970s and rich fruits have been reaped. However, these achievements were mostly confined to an individual orogenic belt and the study of the mutual relationship among the three orogenic belts was obliged to depend on comparative studies. Different views were produced therefrom. The material composition and structural features of the junction region show that there are several epicontinental and intracontinental transform faults developed in different periods. Restricted by these transform faults, the large-scale lateral movements and, as a consequence, complicated magrnatism and tectonic deformation took place in the orogenic belts. | 8 | Andrographolide and Its Derivative Potassium Dehydrographolide Succinate Suppress PRRSV Replication in Primary and Established Cells via Differential Mechanisms of Action显示文摘Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV) continues to cause significant economic loss worldwide and remains a serious threat to the pork industry. Currently, vaccination strategies provide limited protection against PRRSV infection, and consequently, new antiviral strategies are urgently required. Andrographolide(Andro) and its derivative potassium dehydrographolide succinate(PDS) have been used clinically in China and other Asian countries as therapies for inflammation-related diseases, including bacterial and viral infections, for decades. Here, we demonstrate that Andro and PDS exhibit robust activity against PRRSV replication in Marc-145 cells and primary porcine alveolar macrophages(PAMs). The two compounds exhibited broad-spectrum inhibitory activities in vitro against clinically circulating type 2 PRRSV GD-HD, XH-GD, and NADC30-like HNhx strains in China. The EC_(50)values of Andro against three tested PRRSV strain infections in Marc-145 cells ranged from 11.7 to 15.3 lmol/L, with selectivity indexes ranging from 8.3 to10.8, while the EC_(50)values of PDS ranged from 57.1 to 85.4 lmol/L, with selectivity indexes ranging from 344 to 515.Mechanistically, the anti-PRRSV activity of the two compounds is closely associated with their potent suppression on NFj B activation and enhanced oxidative stress induced by PRRSV infection. Further mechanistic investigations revealed that PDS, but not Andro, is able to directly interact with PRRSV particles. | 11 | An Anti-Eavesdrop Transmission Scheduling Scheme Based on Maximizing Secrecy Outage Probability in Ad Hoc Networks显示文摘In this paper,we consider a wireless ad hoc network consisting of multiple source nodes transmitting to their respective destinations,where an eavesdropper attempts to intercept their transmissions.We propose an optimal transmission scheduling scheme to defend against the eavesdropper,where a source node having the highest secrecy rate is scheduled to access the wireless medium for transmitting to its destination in an opportunistic manner.To be specific,the secrecy rate between a pair of the source and destination in the presence of an eavesdropper varies temporally due to the wireless fading effect.The proposed optimal transmission scheduling scheme opportunistically selects a source node with the highest secrecy rate to transmit its data for the sake of maximizing the security of the ad hoc network against eavesdropping attacks.For comparison purposes,we also consider the conventional round-robin scheduling as a benchmark,where multiple source nodes take turns in accessing their shared wireless medium for transmitting to their respective destinations.We derive closed-form secrecy outage probability expressions of both the round-robin scheduling and the proposed optimal scheduling schemes over Rayleigh fading environments.Numerical results show that the proposed transmission scheduling scheme outperforms the conventional round-robin method in terms of its secrecy outage probability.Additionally,upon increasing the number of source-destination pairs,the secrecy outage probability of the round-robin scheme keeps unchanged,whereas the secrecy outage performance of the proposed transmission scheduling significantly improves,showing the security benefits of exploiting transmission scheduling for protecting wireless ad hoc networks against eavesdropping. | WANG Yajun LIAO Tongqing WANG Chuanan | 2016 | China Communications2016,13,1: | 1 |
