1Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid reduces neuronal apoptosis induced by amyloid beta-peptide (25-35)显示文摘Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid might attenuate learning/memory impairment and neuronal loss in rats induced by amyloid beta-peptide. This study aimed to explore the effects of Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid on amyloid beta-peptide-induced neuronal apoptosis and the expression of apoptosis-related proteins in the rat hippocampus. Male Wistar rats were given intragastric administration of Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid, 50 or 100 mg/kg, once per day. On day 8 after administration, 10 μg amyloid beta-peptide (25-35) was injected into the bilateral hippocampus of rats to induce neuronal apoptosis. On day 20, hippocampal tissue was harvested and probed with the terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase-mediated biotin-16-dUTP nick-end labeling assay. Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid at 50 and 100 mg/kg reduced neuronal apoptosis induced by amyloid beta-peptide (25-35 in the rat hippocampus. Immunohistochemistry and western blot assay revealed that expression of the pro-apoptotic protein Bax, cytochrome c and caspase-3 was significantly diminished by 50 and 100 mg/kg Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid, while expression of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 was increased. Moreover, 100 mg/kg Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid had a more dramatic effect than the lower dosage. These experimental findings indicate that Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid dose-dependently attenuates neuronal apoptosis induced by amyloid beta-peptide in the hippocampus, and it might mediate this by regulating the expression of Bax, cytochrome c, caspase-3 and Bcl-2.Ruiting Wang Xingbin Shen Enhong Xing Lihua Guan Lisheng Xin 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,12:8
2Influencing factors of disinfection byproducts formation during chloramination of Cyclops metabolite solutions显示文摘Effects of reaction time, chlorine dosage, pH and temperature on the formation of disinfection byproducts(DBPs), were investigated during the chloramination of Cyclops metabolite solutions. The results showed that some species of DBPs like trichloromethane(TCM), dichloroacetic acid(DCAA) and trichloroacetic acid(TCAA) could accumulate to their respective stable values with a progressive elevation in reaction time and monochloramine concentration. And 1,1,1-2-trichloropropanone(1,1,1-TCP) content decreased correspondingly with a continuous increase of reaction time. The amounts of chloral hydrate(CH), chloropicrin(TCNM), 1,1,1-TCP and DCAA firstly increased and then decreased with increasing monochloramine doses. Higher temperature resulted in a decrease of CH, dichloroacetonitrile(DCAN), 1,1-dichloropropanone(1,1-DCP), 1,1,1-TCP, DCAA and TCAA concentration. pH affected the formation of the different DBPs distinctly. 3Effect of surface area and heteroatom of porous carbon materials on electrochemical capacitance in aqueous and organic electrolytes显示文摘A series of porous carbon materials with wide range of specific surface areas and different heteroatom contents had been prepared using polyaniline as carbon precursor and KOH as an activating agent. Effect of surface area and heteroatom of porous carbon materials on specific capacitance was investigated thoroughly in two typical aqueous KOH and organic 1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate/acetonitirle electrolytes. The different trends of capacitance performance were observed in these two electrolytes. Electrochemical analyses suggested that the presence of faradaic interactions on heteroatom-enriched carbon materials in organic environment is less significant than that observed in aqueous electrolytes. Thus, in aqueous electrolyte, a balance between surface area and heteroatom content of activated porous carbon would be found to develop a supercapacitor with high energy density. In organic electrolyte, the capacitance performance of porous carbon is strongly dependent on the surface area. 4An aqueous zinc-ion hybrid super-capacitor for achieving ultrahigh-volumetric energy density显示文摘Zinc-ion hybrid super-capacitors are regarded as promising safe energy storage systems,However,the relatively low volumetric energy density has become the main bottlenecks in practical applications of portable electronic devices,In this work,the zinc-ion hybrid super-capacitor with high volumetric energy density and superb cycle stability had been constructed which employing the high-density threedimensional graphene hydrogel as cathode and Zn foil used as anode in 1 mol/L ZnSO4 electrolyte.Benefiting from the abundant ion transport paths and the abundant active sites for graphene hydrogel with high density and porous structure,the zinc-ion hybrid super-capacitor exhibited an extremely high volumetric energy density of 118.42 Wh/L and a superb power density of 24.00 kW/L,as well as an excellent long cycle life(80% retention after 30,000 cycles at 10 A/g),which was superior to the volumetric energy density of the reported zinc-ion hybrid super-capacitors.This device,based on the fast ion adsorption/deso rption on the capacitor-type graphene cathode and reversible Zn^(2+) plating/stripping on the battery-type Zn anode,which will inspire the development of zinc-ion hybrid super-capacitor in miniaturized devices.Li Zhang Dandan Wu Gaowei Wang Yongtai Xu Hongxia Li Xingbin Yan 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,2:4
5The Cat’s Eye Effect Target Recognition Method Based on Visual Attention显示文摘The Cat’s eye effect target recognition method based on visual attention (CTRVA) is proposed. The difference image can be processed by a designed second-directional derivative filter at eight directional channels. Morphological method is employed to deal with the filtered image in all directions, which ensures that target can be easily distinguished from background. The salient maps for each channel where the potential targets exist are calculated through the spectral residual approach, and the “target-saliency” map is computed by a designed saliency fusing method. The coarse detection is performed by the adaptive threshold to extract candidate targets from the “target-saliency” map. The real target region is identified by the characteristics of the cat’s eye effect target. 10Synergetic ternary metal oxide nanodots-graphene cathode for high performance zinc energy storage显示文摘Zinc-based electrochemistry ene rgy sto rage with high safety and high theoretical capacity is considered to be a competitive candidate to replace lithium-ion batteries.In electrochemical energy storage,multimetal oxide cathode materials can generally provide a wider electrochemical stability window and a higher capacity compared with single metal oxides cathode.Here,a new type of cathode material,MnFe2Co3O8 nanodots/functional graphene sheets,is designed and used for aqueous hybrid Zn-based energy storage.Coupling with a hybrid electrolyte based on zinc sulfate and potassium hydroxide,the asfabricated battery was able to work with a wide electrochemical window of 0.1~1.8 V,showed a high specific capacity of 660 mAh/g,delivered an ultra high energy density of 1135 Wh/kg and a scalable power density of 5754 W/kg(calculated based on the cathode),and displayed a long cycling life of 1000 cycles.These are mainly attributed to the valence charge density distribution in MnFe2Co3O8 nanodots,the good structural strengthening as well as high conductivity of the cathode,and the right electrolyte.Such cathode material also exhibited high electrocatalytic activity for oxygen evolution reaction and thus could be used for constructing a Zn-air battery with an ultrahigh reversible capacity of 9556 mAh/g.Lijun Su Lingyang Liu Yue Wang Yulan Lu Xingbin Yan 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,9:1

16Comparative Secretome Analysis of Magnaporthe oryzae Identified Proteins Involved in Virulence and Cell Wall Integrity显示文摘Plant fungal pathogens secrete numerous proteins into the apoplast at the plant–fungus contact sites to facilitate colonization.However,only a few secretory proteins were functionally characterized in Magnaporthe oryzae,the fungal pathogen causing rice blast disease worldwide.Asparagine-linked glycosylation 3(Alg3)is an a-1,3-mannosyltransferase functioning in the Nglycan synthesis of N-glycosylated secretory proteins.Fungal pathogenicity and cell wall integrity are impaired inΔalg3 mutants,but the secreted proteins affected inΔalg3 mutants are largely unknown.In this study,we compared the secretomes of the wild-type strain and theΔalg3 mutant and identified 51 proteins that require Alg3 for proper secretion.These proteins were predicted to be involved in metabolic processes,interspecies interactions,cell wall organization,and response to chemicals.Nine proteins were selected for further validation.We found that these proteins were localized at the apoplastic region surrounding the fungal infection hyphae.Moreover,the Nglycosylation of these proteins was significantly changed in theΔalg3 mutant,leading to the decreased protein secretion and abnormal protein localization.Furthermore,we tested the biological functions of two genes,INV1(encoding invertase 1,a secreted invertase)and AMCase(encoding acid mammalian chinitase,a secreted chitinase).The fungal virulence was significantly reduced,and the cell wall integrity was altered in theΔinv1 andΔamcase mutant strains.Moreover,the N-glycosylation was essential for the function and secretion of AMCase.Taken together,our study provides new insight into the role of N-glycosylated secretory proteins in fungal virulence and cell wall integrity.Ning Liu Linlu Qi Manna Huang Deng Chen Changfa Yin Yiying Zhang Xingbin Wang Guixin Yuan Rui-Jin Wang Jun Yang You-Liang Peng Xunli Lu 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,4:0
17Glutamine metabolic microenvironment drives M2 macrophage polarization tomediate trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer显示文摘Background:Trastuzumab is a first-line targeted therapy for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)-positive gastric cancer.However,the inevitable occurrence of acquired trastuzumab resistance limits the drug benefit,and there is currently no effective reversal measure.Existing researches on the mechanism of trastuzumab resistance mainly focused on tumor cells themselves,while the understanding of the mechanisms of environment-mediated drug resistance is relatively lacking.This study aimed to further explore the mechanisms of trastuzumab resistance to identify strategies to promote survival in these patients.Methods:Trastuzumab-sensitive and trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues and cells were collected for transcriptome sequencing.Bioinformatics were used to analyze cell subtypes,metabolic pathways,and molecular signaling pathways.Changes in microenvironmental indicators(such as macrophage,angiogenesis,and metabolism)were verified by immunofluorescence(IF)and immunohistochemical(IHC)analyses.Finally,a multi-scale agent-based model(ABM)was constructed.The effects of combination treatment were further validated in nude mice to verify these effects predicted by the ABM.Results:Based on transcriptome sequencing,molecular biology,and in vivo experiments,we found that the level of glutamine metabolism in trastuzumabresistant HER2-positive cells was increased,and glutaminase 1(GLS1)was significantly overexpressed.Meanwhile,tumor-derived GLS1 microvesicles drove M2macrophage polarization.Furthermore,angiogenesis promoted trastuzumab resistance.IHC showed high glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and angiogenesis in trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues from patients and nudemice.Mechanistically,the cell division cycle 42(CDC42)promoted GLS1 expression in tumor cells by activating nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)p65 and drove GLS1microvesicle secretion through IQmotif-containing GTPase-activating protein 1(IQGAP1).Based on the ABM and in vivo experiments,we confirmed that the combination of anti-glutamine metabolism,anti-angiogenesis,and pro-M1 polarization therapy had the best effect in reversing trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer.Conclusions:This study revealed that tumor cells secrete GLS1 microvesicles via CDC42 to promote glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and pro-angiogenic function of macrophages,leading to acquired trastuzumab resistance in HER2-positive gastric cancer.A combination of anti-glutamine metabolism,anti-angiogenesis,and pro-M1 polarization therapy may provide a new insight into reversing trastuzumab resistance.Xingbin Hu Zhenfeng Ma Beibei Xu Shulong Li Zhiqi Yao Bishan Liang Jiao Wang Wangjun Liao Li Lin Chunling Wang Siting Zheng Qijing Wu Qiong Huang Le Yu Fenghua Wang Min Shi 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,8:0
18A Method for Classification and Evaluation of Pilot’s Mental States Based on CNN显示文摘How to accurately recognize the mental state of pilots is a focus in civil aviation safety.The mental state of pilots is closely related to their cognitive ability in piloting.Whether the cognitive ability meets the standard is related to flight safety.However,the pilot’s working state is unique,which increases the difficulty of analyzing the pilot’s mental state.In this work,we proposed a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)that merges attention to classify the mental state of pilots through electroencephalography(EEG).Considering the individual differences in EEG,semi-supervised learning based on improvedK-Means is used in themodel training to improve the generalization ability of the model.We collected the EEG data of 12 pilot trainees during the simulated flight and compared the method in this paper with other methods on this data.The method in this paper achieved an accuracy of 86.29%,which is better than 4D-aNN and HCNN etc.Negative emotion will increase the probability of fatigue appearing,and emotion recognition is also meaningful during the flight.Then we conducted experiments on the public dataset SEED,and our method achieved an accuracy of 93.68%.In addition,we combine multiple parameters to evaluate the results of the classification network on a more detailed level and propose a corresponding scoring mechanism to display the mental state of the pilots directly.Qianlei Wang Zaijun Wang Renhe Xiong Xingbin Liao Xiaojun Tan 2023Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,46,8:0

20LDNet:structure-focused lane detection based on line deformation显示文摘Lane detection is a fundamental necessary task for autonomous driving.The conventional methods mainly treat lane detection as a pixel-wise segmentation problem,which suffers from the challenge of uncontrollable driving road environments and needs post-processing to abstract the lane parameters.In this work,a series of lines are used to represent traffic lanes and a novel line deformation network(LDNet) is proposed to directly predict the coordinates of lane line points.Inspired by the dynamic behavior of classic snake algorithms,LDNet uses a neural network to iteratively deform an initial lane line to match the lane markings.To capture the long and discontinuous structures of lane lines,1 D convolution in LDNet is used for structured feature learning along the lane lines.Based on LDNet,a two-stage pipeline is developed for lane marking detection:(1) initial lane line proposal to predict a list of lane line candidates,and(2) lane line deformation to obtain the coordinates of lane line points.Experiments show that the proposed approach achieves competitive performances on the TuSimple dataset while being efficient for real-time applications on a GTX 1650 GPU.In particular,the accuracy of LDNet with the annotated starting and ending points is up to99.45%,which indicates the improved initial lane line proposal method can further enhance the performance of LDNet.张军 WANG Xingbin GUO Binglei 2022High Technology Letters2022,28,3:0
