A Novel Hybrid FA-Based LSSVR Learning Paradigm for Hydropower Consumption Forecasting显示文摘Due to the nonlinearity and nonstationary of hydropower market data, a novel hybrid learning paradigm is proposed to predict hydropower consumption, by incorporating firefly algorithm(FA) into least square support vector regression(LSSVR), i.e., FA-based LSSVR model. In the novel model, the powerful and effective artificial intelligence(AI) technique, i.e., LSSVR, is employed to forecast hydropower consumption. Furthermore, a promising AI optimization tool, i.e., FA, is especially introduced to address the crucial but difficult task of parameters determination in LSSVR(e.g.,hyper and kernel function parameters). With the Chinese hydropower consumption as sample data, the empirical study has statistically confirmed the superiority of the novel FA-based LSSVR model to other benchmark models(including existing popular traditional econometric models, AI models and similar hybrid LSSVRs with other popular parameter searching tools), in terms of level and directional accuracy. The empirical results also imply that the hybrid FA-based LSSVR learning paradigm with powerful forecasting tool and parameters optimization method can be employed as an effective forecasting tool for not only hydropower consumption but also other complex data. | TANG Ling WANG Zishu LI Xinxie YU Lean ZHANG Guoxing | 2015 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2015,26,5: | 3
YTHDF2 is essential for spermatogenesis and fertility by mediating a wave of transcriptional transition in spermatogenic cells显示文摘The dynamic and reversible regulation roles of m^(6)A modification and the characterization of m^(6)A readers have provided new insights into spermatogenesis at the post-transcriptional level.YTHDF2,as an m^(6)A reader, has been reported to mediate the m^(6)A-containing transcript decay during the mouse oocyte maturation, embryonic stem cell differentiation, neural development, and zebrafish maternal-to-zygotic transition. However, the roles of YTHDF2 in mammalian spermatogenesis are uncertain. Here,we generated germ cell-specific Ythdf2 mutants(Ythdf2-vKO)at a C57BL/6J background and demonstrated that YTHDF2 is essential for mouse spermatogenesis and fertility.Ythdf2-vKO provides oligoasthenoteratozoospermia phenotype with increased apoptosis in germ cells.High-throughput RNA-seq analysis showed that a group of mRNAs is upregulated in Ythdf2-vKO mouse testis;further analysis and MeRIP-qPCR data showed that most of the upregulated genes in Ythdf2-vKO mouse testis are modified with m^(6)A and are YTHDF2 candidate binding genes.Interestingly,RNA-seq analysis combined with our previous single-cell transcriptomics data of mouse spermatogenesis pointed out the failure of a wave of transcript transition during the spermatogenesis of Ythdf2-vKO mice, which was confirmed by gene expression analysis using qPCR of diplotene spermatocytes and round spermatids obtained through fluorescence-activated cell sorting. Our study demonstrates the fundamental role of YTHDF2 during mouse spermatogenesis and provides a potential candidate for the diagnosis of male infertility with the oligoasthenoteratozoospermia syndrome. | Xinxi Zhao Zhen Lin Yong Fan Wenzhi Li Yujie Zhang Fei Li Tong Hong Hua Feng Minghan Tong Ningling Wang Yanping Kuang Qifeng Lyu | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12: | 2
Design and simulation of time-of-flight neutron reflectometer显示文摘In this paper,a time of flight neutron reflectometer model is proposed.According to the original objective inputting physical parameters and expectations, computer simulation was done by McStas package. With the open slit, neutron flux at sample position was about 1×10~5 n·cm^(-2)·S^(-1),and the optimal resolution could reach 0.5%.The results show that the model has a good performance. The design of this model can be an instruction for neutron reflectometer construction or project analysis in the future. | LI Xinxi WANG Yan HUANG Chaoqiang CHEN Bo | 2010 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2010,21,3: | 2
Progress in plant phenology modeling under global climate change显示文摘Plant phenology is the study of the timing of recurrent biological events and the causes of their timing with regard to biotic and abiotic forces.Plant phenology affects the structure and function of terrestrial ecosystems and determines vegetation feedback to the climate system by altering the carbon, water and energy fluxes between the vegetation and near-surface atmosphere. Therefore,an accurate simulation of plant phenology is essential to improve our understanding of the response of ecosystems to climate change and the carbon, water and energy balance of terrestrial ecosystems.Phenological studies have developed rapidly under global change conditions, while the research of phenology modeling is largely lagged.Inaccurate phenology modeling has become the primary limiting factor for the accurate simulation of terrestrial carbon and water cycles.Understanding the mechanism of phenological response to climate change and building process-based plant phenology models are thus important frontier issues. In this review,we first summarized the drivers of plant phenology and overviewed the development of plant phenology models. Finally,we addressed the challenges in the development of plant phenology models and highlighted that coupling machine learning and Bayesian calibration into process-based models could be a potential approach to improve the accuracy of phenology simulation and prediction under future global change conditions. | Yongshuo FU Xinxi LI Xuancheng ZHOU Xiaojun GENG Yahui GUO Yaru ZHANG | 2020 | Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,9: | 1

Social credit:a comprehensive literature review显示文摘To avoid credit fraud, social credit within an economic system has become an increasingly important criterion for the evaluation of economic agent activity and guaranteeing the development of a market economy with minimal supervision costs. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the social credit literature from the perspectives of theoretical foundation, scoring methods, and regulatory mechanisms. The study considers the credit of various economic agents within the social credit system such as countries(or governments),corporations, and individuals and their credit variations in online markets(i.e.,network credit).A historical review of the theoretical(or model)development of economic agents is presented together with significant works and future research directions. Some interesting conclusions are summarized from the literature review.(1)Credit theory studies can be categorized into traditional and emerging schools both focusing on the economic explanation of social credit in conjunction with creation and evolution mechanisms.(2)The most popular credit scoring methods include expert systems, econometric models, artificial intelligence(AI)techniques, and their hybrid forms.Evaluation indexes should vary across different target agents.(3)The most pressing task for regulatory mechanisms that supervise social credit to avoid credit fraud is the establishment of shared credit databases with consistent data standards. | Lean Yu Xinxie Li Ling Tang Zongyi Zhang Gang Kou | 2015 | Financial Innovation2015,1,1: | 1
Observation of the Hydrogen-Dislocation Interactions in a High-Manganese Steel after Hydrogen Adsorption and Desorption显示文摘Hydrogen embrittlement(HE)poses a significant challenge for the development of high-strength metallic materials. However, explanations for the observed HE phenomena are still under debate. To shed light on this issue, here we investigated the hydrogen-defect interaction by comparing the dislocation structure evolution after hydrogen adsorption and desorption in a Fe-28Mn-0.3C(wt%)twinning-induced plasticity steel with an austenitic structure using in situ electron channeling contrast imaging. The results indicate that hydrogen can strongly affect dislocation activities. In detail, hydrogen can promote the formation of stacking faults with a long dissociation distance.Besides, dislocation movements are frequently observed during hydrogen desorption. The required resolved shear stress is considered to be the residual stresses rendered by hydrogen segregation.Furthermore, the microstructural heterogeneity could lead to the discrepancy of dislocation activities even within the same materials. | Dayong An Yuhao Zhou Yao Xiao Xinxi Liu Xifeng Li Jun Chen | 2023 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,7: | 0
Exogenously applied methyl Jasmonate induces early defense related genes in response to Phytophthora infestans infection in potato plants显示文摘In order to elucidate the contributions of JA in orchestrating disease resistance in potato plants, the potato genotype‘SD20’,which exhibits strong resistance against the highly virulent Phytophthora infestans isolate CN152,while infected by the super virulent isolate 2013-18-306,was treated with exogenous JA and then challenged by inoculation with 2013-18-306.The results showed that exogenously applied JA significantly delayed the onset and alleviated the symptoms of late blight, indicating exogenous JA could induce resistance to P.infestans in the early biotrophic stage of infection in‘SD20’plants.To further clarify the role of JA in the early defense response and identify key genes involved in JA signal transduction, gene expression profiling via RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)in‘SD20’plants treated with exogenously applied JA was performed.A total of 2927 differentially expressed genes were specifically induced, the majority encoded transcription factors, protein kinases, secondary metabolites, defense enzymes and disease resistance related proteins.GO functional annotation and KEGG metabolic pathway analysis showed that exogenously applied JA rapidly induced the expression of genes related to immune response regulation, pathogen defense, and other biological processes, and stimulated endogenous JA synthesis and signal transduction, and the overall early pathogen defense response in‘SD20’.These results provide useful information in understanding the JA’s function involved in pathogen defense responses and a theoretical basis for the application of JA in potato production. | Yu Yang Xiaohui Yang Xiao Guo Xinxi Hu Daofeng Dong Guangcun Li Xingyao Xiong | 2022 | Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,4: | 0
