| 1 | Diurnal characteristics of geoelectric fields and their changes associated with the Alxa Zuoqi M_S5.8 earthquake on 15 April 2015(Inner Mongolia)显示文摘In China, efforts are being made to monitor geoelectric fields through a large network of stations deployed and managed by the China Earthquake Administration. The diurnal variations in the geoelectric field waveforms were similar in the quiet magnetic periods when K<5(generally, K<3 indicates a quiet time). The arrival time points of the maxima in the geoelectric field waveforms exhibited differences in local time related to geographic longitude. The amplitude of diurnal variation was several to 16.6 mV/km and decreased with increasing latitude. Further,the amplitude of diurnal variation, which was related to seasonal changes, was larger in summer and autumn than in spring and winter. The periods of diurnal changes during quiet days were 24, 12, 8, 6, 4 hours and several minutes over large areas. | 2 | Numerical simulation on the evolution of sediment waves caused by turbidity currents显示文摘Interest in the forming mechanism of sediment waves increases recently because of its significance on submarine engineering, sedimentary dynamics and hydrocarbon reservoir prediction in deep water. In this paper, the time-averaged continuity equations and Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are applied in the numerical simulation of fluid dynamics. The modeling results are used to illuminate the effects of topography on turbidity current and explore the origin of submarine sediment waves. The research results show that (1) deposition occurs firstly at the lower ramp due to the deceleration of fluid, increase of density, loss of flow capacity and longer duration of flow passage; (2) density increase at the upslope due to the local jam results in velocity decrease and pressure increase; (3) sediment waves begin to be formed and migrated toward upstream in an area far away from the source with in- crease of the turbidity events; (4) deposition becomes more slowly with decrease of grain sizes, but the shape and sequences of these deposits are controlled by topography, not grain size. | JIANG mao XIE XiNong TANG SuLin ZHANG Cheng DU XueBin | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,17: | 3 |
| 3 | Characteristics and distribution patterns of reef complexes on the carbonate platform margin in deep water areas:the western South China Sea显示文摘As a potential oil and gas reservoir,reef complexes have been a research focus from petroleum geologists for a long time.There are favorable conditions for the development of reef complexes in the South China Sea; however,their internal structures,evolution and distribution are still poorly understood.Based on 2D and 3D seismic data,the internal structures and evolution patterns of the reef complexes on the carbonate platform margin in the deep water areas over the western South China Sea were studied in detail.The result shows that two types of reef complexes,i.e.,fault controlling platform margin reef complexes and ramp reef complexes have been developed in the study area.The reef complexes have independent or continuous mound or lenticular seismic reflections,with three internal structures(i.e.,aggrading,prograding and retrograding structures).There are different growth rates during the evolution of the reef complexes,resulting in the formation of catch-up reefs,keep-up reefs and quick step reefs.The study also reveals that different platform margin reef complexes have different internal structures and distributions,because of the different platform types.These results may be applied to the exploration and prediction of carbonate platform margin reef complexes in other areas that are similar to the study area. | CHEN Ping LI Xushen WANG Yahui LU Yongchao ZHONG Zehong CHEN Lei ZUO Qianmei MA Yiquan WANG Chao DU Xuebin | 2015 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,10: | 3 |
| 4 | New Seismic Attribute Technology for Predicting Dissolved Pore-Fracture of Deeply Buried Platform Margin Reef-Beach System in Northeast Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘The large reef complexes of the Upper Permian Changxing Formation, with a significant breakthrough for petroleum exploration, are an important target for petroleum exploration in the Yuanba area of the Sichuan Basin in SW China. The storage space types of reef complexes are dominated by the dissolved pore-fracture(DPF). However, using only single geophysical methods, it is difficult to predict effective distribution of DPF. Based on a combination of geological models and geophysics technology, this study proposes two new geophysical methods, including anisotropy coherence technique(ACT) and fracture intensity inversion(FII), to research the characteristics of DPF by faciescontrolling in Changxing Formation in Yuanba area. Two major findings are presented as follows:(1) the characteristics of DPF varying with facies are the result of different diagenetic and petrophysical property. The intensity of DPF decreases from reef and bioclastic bank to interbank sea and slope;(2) ACT can qualitatively identify the distribution of DPF with no-directional and dispersed distribution, while FII can quantitatively characterize the intensity of DPF development within various sedimentary facies. | 6 | Evidence for the role of KIF17 in fish spermatid reshaping:expression pattern of KIF17 in Larimichthys polyactis spermiogenesis显示文摘The homodimeric kinesin-2 protein KIF17 functions in intracellular transport and spermiogenesis in mammals.However,its role in fish spermiogenesis has not been reported.Here,we aimed to clone full-length kif17 cDNA and determine the molecular characteristics and expression patterns of KIF17 in Larimichthys polyactis spermiogenesis.The full-length cDNA of L.polyactis kif17(Lp-kif17)was sequenced and found to contain a 332-bp 5′untranslated region,480-bp 3′untranslated region,and 2433-bp open reading frame encoding 810 amino acids.Bioinformatics analyses showed that L.polyactis KIF17(Lp-KIF17)shared high sequence similarity with homologs in other animals and possessed an N-terminal motor domain with microtubule-binding sites and adenosine triphosphate(ATP)hydrolysis sites,a stalk domain containing two coiled-coil regions,and a C-terminal tail domain.The Lp-kif17 mRNA was widely expressed in various tissues,with the highest level in the brain,followed by that in the testis.Fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)analysis revealed that Lp-kif17 was continuously expressed in spermiogenesis,showing that it had potential functions in this process.Using immunofluorescence(IF)analysis,we found that Lp-KIF17 colocalized with tubulin and was transferred from the perinuclear cytoplasm to the side of spermatid where the tail forms during spermiogenesis.These findings suggested that KIF17 is involved in L.polyactis spermiogenesis.In particular,it may participate in nuclear shaping and tail formation by interacting with perinuclear microtubules during spermatid reshaping.In addition to providing evidence for the role of KIF17 in fish spermatid reshaping,this study provides important data for studies of reproductive biology in L.polyactis. | Jingqian WANG Xinming GAO Xuebin ZHENG Chen DU Congcong HOU Qingping XIE Bao LOU Feng LIU Shan JIN Junquan ZHU | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,6: | 1 |

| 12 | Incidence of Major Adverse Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Events in Chinese Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Iodixanol: An Observational Postauthorization Study显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events(MACCEs)and overall safety profile associated with iodixanol in Chinese patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Patients at 30 centers in China registered in the OpenClinic v3.6 database from October 30,2013,to October 7,2015,were included in the study.The primary endpoint was in-hospital MACCEs including target lesion revascularization(TLR),stroke,stent thrombosis,cardiac death,and PCI-related myocardial infarction(MI)within 72 h post-PCI.Secondary endpoints were MACCEs from 72 h to 30 d post-PCI and other safety events within 30 d post-PCI.Results:A total of 3,042 patients were enrolled.The incidence of MACCEs within 72 h post-PCI was 2.33%(n=71),including cardiac death(0.03%,n=1)and PCI-related MI(2.30%,n=70).The incidence of MACCEs from 72 h to 30 d post-PCI was 0.16%(n=5),including cardiac death(0.10%,n=3),PCI-related MI(0.03%,n=1),and TLR for stent thrombosis(0.03%,n=1).The incidence of composite angiographic or procedural complications was 2.86%(n=87);233(7.86%)patients had results suggesting contrast-induced acute kidney injury.Conclusions:These findings indicate that the use of iodixanol in Chinese patients undergoing PCI is associated with a low incidence of MACCEs,confirming its safety in this population. | Xiaozeng Wang Dengfeng Ma Tianchang Li Bao Li Xi Su Yanqing Wu Zhimin Du Zheng Ji Ping Yang Baisong Yang Xuebin Cao Junxia Li Fengxia Hou Ziping Cheng Banglong Xu Yaling Han | 2023 | Cardiology Discovery2023,3,2: | 0 |
| 13 | Prohibitin Protein Expression During Spermatogenesis in the Large Yellow Croaker, Larimichthys crocea显示文摘Mitochondria are important for animals’fertility,and their morphologies and functions during spermatogenesis are un-der investigation.However,the molecular mechanism that regulates the mitochondrial dynamic during spermatogenesis is still un-known.In this study,the cytological features of spermatogenesis were investigated in Larimichthys crocea.In addition,the structure and function of prohibitin(PHB),which is associated with mitochondrial structure and dynamic,was also investigated.The full-length cDNA and protein(Lc-PHB)from the L.crocea phb gene(Lc-phb)contained 1625 base pairs and 271 amino acids,respec-tively.Lc-PHB had a conserved primary structure that resulted in a transmembrane,SPFH(the analogous region of proteins stomat-ins,prohibitins,flotillins and HflK/C),and coiled-coil domains.It was detected at high levels in the muscle,liver,and heart,and at intermediate levels in the testis,gill,and brain.Lc-phb mRNA expression was detected in spermatogenic cells by fluorescence in situ hybridization.An immunofluorescence assay revealed that PHB protein was localized in the mitochondria during spermatogenesis.Specifically,PHB expression was detected in the perinuclear cytoplasm of spermatogonia,spermatocytes,and spermatids in the early developmental stage,and mainly localized on one side of the nuclei in the cytoplasm of spermatids in a middle developmental stage,and finally on the sperm midpiece.Western blotting showed that PHB was located in the extracted mitochondria protein fraction but not in the cytoplasm protein fraction of testes.Conclusively,these results indicated that PHB was expressed in the mitochondria dur-ing spermatogenesis.In addition,the study explained the mitochondrial dynamic during fish spermatogenesis and proposed a possi-ble relationship among PHB,spermatogenesis,and male fertility. | LIN Chenwen GAO Xinming NI Jie ZHANG Shengshuo LIU Cheng LUO Shengyu DU Chen ZHENG Xuebin HOU Congcong TANG Daojun ZHANG Chundan ZHU Junquan | 2022 | Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,5: | 0 |

Herein, an universal and efficient photoligation reaction has been used to prepare a patterned capture substrate for a sandwich SERS immunoassay. Photoirradiation induces mild and efficient immobilization of antibodies at the desired region of a gold surface, and the antibody-antigen interaction helps the substrate to capture the antigens in solution specifically. After exposing to SERS probes, i.e., the gold nanoparticles labelled with both antibodies and intrinsically strong Raman reporters, multiple quantitative SERS determination of antigens can be achieved with high sensitivity and specificity. | 17 | Testis Development and Ultrastructural Features During Spermatogenesis in Cultured Small Yellow Croaker,Larimichthys polyactis显示文摘The small yellow croaker Larimichthys polyactis is an economically important marine fish in Northeast Asia.Currently,its natural resources are threatened by overfishing and environmental pollution.Therefore,research on the reproductive system of the fish is crucial.Here,we studied the testis development and ultrastructural features of spermatogenesis in cultured L.polyactis using anatomical,histological,and ultrastructural techniques.A pair of testes,consisting of a central sperm duct and radial seminiferous lobules,were observed.The reproduction cycle of testes can be divided into stages I–VI.March to May was confirmed as the breeding season for male L.polyactis,while April is the ideal period for artificial breeding.The male L.polyactis can attain sexual maturity within 1 year.The spermatogenesis of L.polyactis comprised spermatogonium,spermatocyte,spermatid,and mature spermatozoon.The morphology of spermatogenic cells changed obviously during spermiogenesis,including nuclear shaping,midpiece and flagellum formation.The mature sperms consist of an ellipsoidal head,a short midpiece,and a long flagellum.The anterior of the head with a kidney-shaped nucleus can be distinguished.The midpiece is located posterior to the head and includes four to six spherical mitochondria.The flagellum has irregular lateral fins.The testis of L.polyactis is an unrestricted lobular type,with cystic spermatogenesis,type II spermiogenesis,and type II spermatozoa.These features are highly similar to those of other Sciaenid species.Our findings provide useful insights into the mechanism underlying testis development and spermatogenesis of L.polyactis,which can facilitate the artificial breeding of this species. | ZHENG Xuebin WANG Jingqian GAO Xinming DU Chen HOU Congcong XIE Qingping LIU Feng ZHU Junquan LOU Bao | 2023 | Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,5: | 0 |
