| 1 | Annual Time-series Analyses of Total Gaseous Mercury Measurement and its Impact Factors on the Gongga Mountains in the Southeastern Fringe of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Long-term monitoring programs for measurement of atmospheric mercury concentrations are presently recognized as powerful tools for local,regional and global studies of atmospheric long-range transport processes,and they could also provide valuable information about the impact of emission controls on the global budget of atmospheric mercury,their observance and an insight into the global mercury cycle. China is believed to be an increasing atmospheric mercury emission source. However,only a few measurements of mercury,to our knowledge,have been done in ambient air over China. The highly-time resolved atmospheric mercury concen-trations have been measured at Moxi Base Station (102°72′E 29°92′N,1640 m asl) of the Gongga Alpine Ecosystem Observation and Experiment Station of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from May 2005 to June 2006 by using a set of Automatic Atmospheric Mercury Speciation Analyzers (Tekran 2537A). Measurements were carried out with a time resolution of every 15 minutes. The overall average total gaseous mercury (TGM) covering the measurement periods was 4±1.38 ng·m-3 (N=57310),which is higher than the global background level of approximately 1.5~2.0 ng·m-3. The measurements in all seasons showed a similar diurnal change pattern with a high concentration during daytime relative to nighttime and maximum concentration near solar noon and minimum concentration immediately before sunrise. The presence of diurnal TGM peaks during spring and summer was found earlier than that during autumn and winter. When divided seasonally,it was found that the concentrations of TGM were highest in winter with 6.13 ± 1.78 ng·m-3 and lowest in summer with 3.17 ± 0.67 ng·m-3. There were no significant differences in TGM among wind sectors during each season. Whereas Hg generally exhibited significant correlations with the parameters,such as temperature,saturated vapor pressure,precipitation,ultraviolet radiation (UV) and atmospheric pressure at the whole measurement stage,and the correlations varied seasonally. | 2 | Defects in CVDZnS显示文摘Defects seriously influence the optical properties and mechanical properties of CVDZnS.The deposition technique was introduced and experiment methods such as SEM,TEM and OM were adopted to study the defects:hexagonal phase,abnormally large grains,micro-cracks,micro-pores and impurities.The microstructures of these defects were observed,and the formation mechanisms of these defects were analyzed.Hexagonal ZnS as an impurity causes anisotropy in different directions with different refraction indexes and increases the scattering of CVDZnS.Increasing the deposition temperature can inhibit the formation of the hexagonal phase.The main reason for the growth of abnormally large grains in CVDZnS is high deposition rate.The lower deposition temperature increases growth stress in CVDZnS,which consequently results in the bowing of CVDZnS plates,and introduces microscopic defects such as grain blending and micro-cracks in the crystal.Micro-pores and impurities are induced by high reactant concentration in the local deposition chamber,which can be avoided by improving the gas flowing so as to make the concentration more uniform. | FU Ligang LU Fanxiu WANG Xuewu WEI Naiguang | 2011 | Rare Metals2011,30,4: | 3 |

| 4 | Downregulation of hsa_circ_0002198 inhibits keloid fibroblast activities in vitro by reducing NLRP3 inflammasome activity显示文摘The levels of hsa circular RNA_0002198(hsa_circ_0002198)have been found to be significantly upregulated in keloid dermal fibroblasts.However,the functional role of hsa_circ_0002198 in keloid fibroblasts and the underlying molecular mechanism for its effects have not been reported.In this study,the levels of hsa_circ_0002198 and nucleotide-binding and oligomerization domain,leucine rich repeat and pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3)expression in keloid scar tissues and adjacent normal skin tissues were determined by quantitative real-time PCR and western blotting,respectively.In vitro models of keloid tissue were created by culturing primary keloid fibroblasts obtained from patients.A series of functional experiments,including CCK-8 assays,Transwell assays,and ELISA assays were performed to analyze the functional role of hsa_circ_0002198/NLRP3.Our data showed that hsa_circ_0002198 and NLRP3 were upregulated in keloid scar tissues when compared with adjacent normal tissues.Knockdown of hsa_circ_0002198 expression significantly suppressed cell proliferation,migration,and invasion,and those effects could be partially reversed by forced NLRP3 overexpression in keloid fibroblasts.At the molecular level,knockdown of hsa_circ_0002198 downregulated the levels of Col I,α-SMA,and NLRP3 proteins,as well as the levels of TGF-β,IL-1ß,and IL-33,but upregulated caspase 3 expression in keloid fibroblasts.All those effects were partially reversed after NLRP3 overexpression.In conclusion,our results suggest hsa_circ_0002198 as a potential target for treating keloid lesions. | LEI FU JINGWEN JIANG XUEWU CHEN FENGTING ZHU HUI ZHANG | 2022 | BIOCELL2022,46,5: | 1 |

| 14 | Flexible multifunctional platform based on piezoelectric acoustics for human–machine interaction and environmental perception显示文摘Flexible human–machine interfaces show broad prospects for next-generation flexible or wearable electronics compared with their currently available bulky and rigid counterparts.However,compared to their rigid counterparts,most reported flexible devices(e.g.,flexible loudspeakers and microphones)show inferior performance,mainly due to the nature of their flexibility.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve their performance by developing and optimizing new materials,structures and design methodologies.In this paper,a flexible acoustic platform based on a zinc oxide(ZnO)thin film on an aluminum foil substrate is developed and optimized;this platform can be applied as a loudspeaker,a microphone,or an ambient sensor depending on the selection of its excitation frequencies.When used as a speaker,the proposed structure shows a high sound pressure level(SPL)of~90 dB(with a standard deviation of~3.6 dB),a low total harmonic distortion of~1.41%,and a uniform directivity(with a standard deviation of~4 dB).Its normalized SPL is higher than those of similar devices reported in the recent literature.When used as a microphone,the proposed device shows a precision of 98%for speech recognition,and the measured audio signals show a strong similarity to the original audio signals,demonstrating its equivalent performance compared to a rigid commercial microphone.As a flexible sensor,this device shows a high temperature coefficient of frequency of−289 ppm/K and good performance for respiratory monitoring. | Qian Zhang Yong Wang Dongsheng Li Jin Xie Ran Tao Jingting Luo Xuewu Dai Hamdi Torun Qiang Wu Wai Pang Ng Richard Binns YongQing Fu | 2022 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,5: | 0 |

| 19 | Property variation of ionic liquid [Bmim][AuCl_4] immobilized on carboxylated polystyrene submicrospheres with a small surface area显示文摘In order to understand the effect of surface chemical groups on the immobilized species, Au-containing imidazolium-based ionic liquid (IL) [Bmim][AuCl4] was intentionally immobilized on polystyrene (PS) submicrospheres (d~300 nm) with a very small surface area (4-10 m2/g), which possess carboxyl-moiety (COONa or COOH) on the surface. The behavior of immobilized [Bmim][AuCl4 ] on the two types of submicrospheres was investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). It was revealed that the melting points (Tm) of [Bmim][AuCl4 ] that had been immobilized on PS-COONa and PS-COOH submicrospheres were decreased by 2.7 and 4.1℃, respectively. The interaction mechanism between the IL and submicrosphere surface moieties was further analyzed by X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) analysis. The data indicated that the coordination environment of Au species changed markedly when [Bmim] [AuCl4] was immobilized on the surfaces of PS-COONa and PS-COOH submicrospheres, as illustrated by the decrease in white line peak intensity. | 20 | Mercury transformation processes in nature: Critical knowledge gaps and perspectives for moving forward显示文摘The transformation of mercury(Hg) in the environment plays a vital role in the cycling of Hg and its risk to the ecosystem and human health. Of particular importance are Hg oxidation/reduction and methylation/demethylation processes driven or mediated by the dynamics of light, microorganisms, and organic carbon, among others. Advances in understanding those Hg transformation processes determine our capacity of projecting and mitigating Hg risk. Here, we provide a critical analysis of major knowledge gaps in our understanding of Hg transformation in nature, with perspectives on approaches moving forward. Our analysis focuses on Hg transformation processes in the environment, as well as emerging methodology in exploring these processes.
