1Microstructure in the Weld Metal of Austenitic-Pearlitic Dissimilar Steels and Diffusion of Element in the Fusion Zone显示文摘Microstructure and alloy element distribution in the welded joint between austenitic stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti) and pearlitic heat-resistant steel (lCr5Mo) were researched by means of light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA). Microstructure, divisions of the fusion zone and elemental diffusion distributions in the welded joints were investigated. 2Effect of Al2O3np on the Properties and Microstructure of B4Cp/Al Composites显示文摘Aluminum-matrix boron carbide (B4Cp/Al) is a kind of neutron absorbing material widely used in nuclear spent fuel storage. In order to improve the tensile property of B4Cp/Al composites, a new type of nano-Al2O3 particle (Al2O3np) reinforced B4Cp/Al + Al2O3np composites were prepared by powder metallurgy method. The Monte Carlo particle transport program (MCNP) was used to determine the influence of Al2O3np on the thermal neutron absorptivity of composites. The universal material testing machine and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to study the mechanical properties, microstructure and fracture morphology of B4Cp/Al composites. The results indicated that the neutron absorption properties of B4Cp/Al composites were not affected by the addition of nano-Al2O3 particles in the range of 1 wt%-15 wt%. The addition of Al2O3np can obviously reduce the grain size of B4Cp/Al matrix metals thus improve the tensile strength of the composites. The addition threshold of Al2O3np is about 2.5 wt%. 3Effect of Thermal Cycle on Microstructure and Fracture Morphology in HAZ of HQ130 Steel显示文摘The effect of different peak temperature(T_P) and cooling time(t_(8/5)) on microstructure,hardness,impact toughness and fracture morphology in the heat-affected zone(HAZ) of HQ130 steel was studied by using weld thermo-simulation test.Experimental results indicate that the impact toughness and hardness decrease with the decrease of T_P or increase of t_(8/5) under the condition of a single thermal cycle.There is a brittle zone in the vicinity of T_P = 800 ℃,where the impact toughness is considerably low.There is a softened zone in the vicinity of T_P = 700℃,where the hardness decreases but the toughness increases.In the practical application of multi-layer and multipass welding,the welding heat input should be strictly limited(t_(8/5)≤20s) so as to reduce the softness and brittleness in the HAZ of HQ130 steel.Li Yajiang Zou Zengda Cheng Zhunian Wei Xing Jiang Quanchang 1996Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)1996,3,2:3
4The Rheological Property and Foam Morphology of Linear Polypropylene and Long Chain Branching Polypropylene显示文摘The rheological behavior, thermal properties and foam morphology of linear polypropylene and long chain branching polypropylene prepared through UV irradiation reactive extrusion were studied by rheological test, melt index test, DSC and supercritical carbon dioxide foaming technology. Rheological test and melt index test confirmed that under UV irradiation and extrusion, adding photo-initiator and cross-linking agent could achieve the purpose of branching, thus improved the melt strength of polypropylene effectively. The DSC results revealed that with the introducing of long chain branching, the melting range of the polypropylene broadened and the crystallization temperature increased. Owing to the introduction of long chain branches, polypropylene exhibited higher melt strength and strain hardening behavior. 5Green tea polyphenols protect spinal cord neurons against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress显示文摘Green tea polyphenols are strong antioxidants and can reduce free radical damage. To investigate their neuroprotective potential, we induced oxidative damage in spinal cord neurons using hydrogen peroxide, and applied different concentrations(50–200 μg/mL) of green tea polyphenol to the cell medium for 24 hours. Measurements of superoxide dismutase activity, malondialdehyde content, and expression of apoptosis-related genes and proteins revealed that green tea polyphenol effectively alleviated oxidative stress. 6ATP11B deficiency leads to impairment of hippocampal synaptic plasticity显示文摘Synaptic plasticity is known to regulate and support signal transduction between neurons, while synaptic dysfunction contributes to multiple neurological and other brain disorders;however, the specific mechanism underlying this process remains unclear. In the present study, abnormal neural and dendritic morphology was observed in the hippocampus following knockout of Atpllb both in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, ATP11B modified synaptic ultrastructure and promoted spine remodeling via the asymmetrical distribution of phosphatidylserine and enhancement of glutamate release, glutamate receptor expression, and intracellular Ca^2+ concentration. Fuithermoe experimental results also indicate that ATP11B regulated synaptic plasticity in hippocampal neurons through the MAPK14 signaling pathway. 7Ultrasonic Analysis of Cracking Propagation Morphology in the Fusion Zone of High Strength Steel显示文摘Cracking morphology in the fusion zone of HQ130 high strength steel was researched by 'the y-slit test' and 'three-point bend test', ultrasonic test and microscope. HQ130 and QJ63 high strength steel was welded by Ar+CO2 gas shielded arc welding under the condition without preheating. Experimental results indicated that welding cracks were produced in the partially melted zone of the weld root of HQ130 steel side and propagated parallel to the fusion zone. The cracks were developed alternatively between the weld and the partially melted zone, and are not strictly ruptured at W/F (weld metal/fusion zone) boundary surface. 8Protein hairy enhancer of split-1 expression during differentiation of muscle-derived stem cells into neuron-like cells显示文摘Muscle-derived stem cells were isolated from the skeletal muscle of Sprague-Dawley neonatal rats aged 3 days old. Cells at passage 5 were incubated in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium supplemented with 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum, 20 μg/L nerve growth factor, 20 μg/L basic fibroblast growth factor and 1% (v/v) penicillin for 6 days. Cells presented with long processes, similar to nerve cells. Connections were formed between cell processes. Immunocytochemical staining with neuron specific enolase verified that cells differentiated into neuron-like cells. Immunofluorescence cytochemistry and western blot results revealed that the expression of protein hairy enhancer of split-1 was significantly reduced.
