| 1 | Perspectives on studies on soil carbon stocks and the carbon sequestration potential of China显示文摘Soil carbon stocks and sequestration have been given a lot of attention recently in the study of terrestrial ecosystems and global climate change.This review focuses on the progress made on the estimation of the soil carbon stocks of China,and the characterization of carbon dynamics of croplands with regard to climate change,and addresses issues on the mineralization of soil organic carbon in relation to greenhouse gas emissions.By integrating existing research data,China's total soil organic carbon(SOC) stock is estimated to be 90 Pg and its inorganic carbon(SIC) stock as 60 Pg,with SOC sequestration rates in the range of 20-25 Tg/a for the last two decades.An estimation of the biophysical potential of SOC sequestration has been generally agreed as being 2 Pg over the long term,of which only 1/3 could be attainable using contemporary agricultural technologies in all of China's croplands.Thus,it is critical to enhance SOC sequestration and mitigate climate change to improve agricultural and land use management in China.There have been many instances where SOC accumulation may not induce an increased amount of decomposition under a warming scenario but instead favor improved cropland productivity and ecosystem functioning.Furthermore,unchanged or even decreased net global warming potential(GWP) from croplands with enhanced SOC has been reported by a number of case studies using life cycle analysis.Future studies on soil carbon stocks and the sequestration potential of China are expected to focus on:(1) Carbon stocks and the sequestration capacity of the earths' surface systems at scales ranging from the plot to the watershed and(2) multiple interface processes and the synergies between carbon sequestration and ecosystem productivity and ecosystem functioning at scales from the molecular level to agro-ecosystems.Soil carbon science in China faces new challenges and opportunities to undertake integrated research applicable to many areas. | ZHENG JuFeng CHENG Kun PAN GenXing Pete SMITH LI LianQing ZHANG XuHui ZHENG JinWei HAN XiaoJun DU YanLing | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,35: | 24 |
| 2 | Digital Gene Expression Analysis of Huanglongbing Affected Mandarins(Citrus reticulata Blanco)In Response to Thermotherapy显示文摘Huanglongbing(HLB),which is mainly associated with“Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus”(CLas),is currently threatening citrus production around the world.This destructive century-old disease results in callose deposition in phloem plasmodesmata and starch overaccumulation in leaf chloroplasts.Heat treatment with high humidity has proven to be effective in eliminating the CLas titers in potted citrus trees.This study explored the curative mechanisms and impact of heat treatment(from 32 to 48°C with 75%±5%relative humidity,14h in light and 10h in dark for four days)on mandarin trees(Citrus reticulata Blanco)that were severely infected by CLas using Solexa/Illumina’s digital gene expression(DGE)profiling.A total of 838 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified,of which 510 were downregulated.Proteinprotein interaction analysis of the DEGs indicated that the thermotherapy of HLB trees downregulated the circadian clock related genes in chloroplasts and upregulated the RNA-editing process in the mitochondria,characterized by 141 genes encoding pentatricopeptide repeatcontaining proteins(PPR)being all upregulated.Furthermore,the expression of phenylpropanoid and flavonoid biosynthesis genes,and auxininduced genes were suppressed.The defense response pathway of the thermotherapy treated diseased trees was apparently disrupted,as indicated by the downregulation of LRR receptor-like serine/threonine-protein kinase FLS2 gene.This study improves our understanding of the curative mechanisms of heat treatment on HLB trees and CLas biological regulation.Importantly,this provides new insights on the involvement of RNA modification by PPR genes and changes in the circadian clock after the heat stress treatment of CLas-infected citrus. | Ruixuan Pan Yanling Chen Xiaoling Deng Meirong Xu | 2021 | Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,1: | 2 |

| 6 | Analysis and Prediction of Corrosion Risk in Atmospheric Distillation Tower Overhead System显示文摘In order to optimize the atmospheric tower overhead low-temperature system,the physical parameters,multiphase composition,aqueous dew point temperature,and ammonium salt crystallization temperature are simulated with process simulation software.The temperature distribution in overhead heat exchanger is calculated by heat transfer calculation.The special parts with elbows near the inlet and outlet of heat exchanger are studied by fluid field analysis.Results indicate that under current operating conditions,the aqueous dew point temperature and initial crystallization temperature of NH4Cl are 91°C and 128°C,respectively.Ammonium salt appears in the distillation tower and liquid water occurs in heat exchanger tubes,in which the dew point induced corrosion is the most direct factor for heat exchanger corrosion.In the heat exchanger,condensate water appearing in the area 2.7 meters away from the bundle inlet can give rise to corrosion risk under the moist NH4Cl and high concentration of acidic solution circumstance.For the pipes and elbows located near the inlet and the outlet of heat exchanger,the flow field presents an unsymmetrical distribution.High risk areas are mainly concentrated on the external bend of elbows where the liquid water concentration is higher.The coupling of simulation methods established thereby is approved as an effective way to evaluate the corrosion risk in the atmospheric column overhead system and can provide a scientific basis for corrosion control. | Niu Luna Han Lei Chen Wenwu Pan Long Zhang Yanling Qu Dingrong | 2021 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,1: | 1 |
| 7 | Ordered cone-structured tin directly grown on carbon paper as efficient electrocatalyst for CO_(2) electrochemical reduction to formate显示文摘The conversion of carbon dioxide to chemicals by the electrochemical reactions(ERC)is an efficient solution to the current energy crisis and excess CO_(2) emissions.It is still a great challenge and of significance to synthesize a highly selective,efficient,and non-noble metal electrocatalyst that facilitates the ERC reaction.A novel triton X-100(C_(14)H_(22)O(C_(2)H_(4)O)n)assisted electrodeposition method was developed to synthesize the ordered cone-structured tin(OCSn)electrocatalysts with controllable morphology and structure.The results suggest that Triton X-100 plays an important role in directing the structure of the Sn electrocatalysts during the electrodeposition process.The OCSn synthesized at 60 m A cm^(-2) achieves the best performances.It selectively catalyzes the ERC on the onset potential about 110 m V lower than Sn synthesized without Triton X-100.In 0.5 M Na HCO_(3),high faradaic efficiency(92%)for formate product on OCSn has been achieved.More prominently,the catalyst presents excellent stability,showing no performance deterioration during 30 h electrolysis.This work provides an efficient,green,and scalable synthesis method of the electrocatalyst for CO_(2) reduction to formate. | Hexiang Zhong Yanling Qiu Xianfeng Li Liwei Pan Huamin Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4: | 1 |

| 11 | μ-opioid receptor agonist facilitates circulating tumor cell formation in bladder cancer via the MOR/AKT/Slug pathway:a comprehensive study including randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:μ-opioid receptor agonists(MORAs)are indispensable for analgesia in bladder cancer(BC)patients,both during surgery and for chronic pain treatment.Whether MORAs affect BC progression and metastasis remains largely unknown.This study focused on the effects of MORAs on the formation of circulating tumor cells(CTCs)in BC and aimed to provide potential therapeutic targets,which would retain the pain-relieving effects of MORAs in BC patients without sacrificing their long-term prognosis.Methods:Different preclinical models were used to identify the effects of MORAs on the progression of BC.A novel immunocapture microfluidic chip was utilized to analyze whether MORAs affected the number of CTCs in mouse models and clinical BC patients.Bioinformatic analyses,total transcriptome sequencing,and molecular biology methods were then used to investigate the underlying mechanisms in these models and in BC cell lines.Results:Mouse models of hematogenous metastasis and in situ BC demonstrated that tumor metastasis was significantly increased after MORA treatment.A significant increase in the number of mesenchymal and/or epithelial CTCs was detected after MORA treatment in both the mouse models and clinical trial patients.Mechanistically,MORAs facilitated the formation of CTCs by activating the MOR/PI3K/AKT/Slug signaling pathway,hereby promoting the epithelialmesenchymal transition(EMT)of BC cells,as knockdown of MOR,Slug or blockade of PI3K inhibited the EMT process and CTC formation.Conclusion:MORAs promoted BC metastasis by facilitating CTC formation.The EMT-CTC axis could be targeted for preventive measures during MORA treatment to inhibit the associated tumormetastasis or recurrence in BC patients. | Xiaoqiang Wang Song Zhang Di Jin Jiamei Luo Yumiao Shi Yiqi Zhang Lingling Wu Yanling Song Diansan Su Zhiying Pan Haige Chen Ming Cao Chaoyong Yang Weifeng Yu Jie Tian | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023,43,3: | 0 |

| 13 | Characteristics of Xiao Chai Hu decoction based on randomized controlled trials: A bibliometric analysis显示文摘Objective:To explore the characteristics of Xiao Chai Hu(XCH)decoction in randomized controlled trials(RCTs)using a bibliometric method.Methods:Seven databases including PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,Cochrane library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Scientific Journal Database(VIP)and Wanfang database were retrieved from inception to May 27,2022.In the study,XCH decoction(or modified)used alone or combined with conventional Western medicine as an intervention measure was included.The basic characteristics,funding support,relevant diseases,intervention methods,and adverse events(AEs)were analyzed.Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 software.Results:A total of 813 RCTs were included,published from 1989 to 2022.There was only one Englishlanguage literature with the recent impact factor of 5.374.There were 147 studies were from Chineselanguage core journals,with the highest impact factor of 2.414.Only 6.15%of the literatures mentioned funding support.96.31%of the included literature reported the statistical significance of using XCH decoction.The diseases treated mainly included chronic hepatitis B(9.35%),cough variant asthma(5.66%),dizziness(5.54%),bile reflux gastritis(4.43%),and fever(4.18%).However,the overall research design of the included literature was poor,and large sample size,multicenter RCTs are needed.The incidence of AEs of XCH decoction alone was 8.86%,which was significantly lower than that of conventional Western medicine treatment.The combination of XCH decoction and conventional Western medicine treatment could reduce the incidence of AEs,and no serious adverse event was reported.Conclusion:Although the included studies show that XCH decoction is widely used,and has good efficacy and few AEs.Due to the low quality of the included RCTs,there may be some bias,and its rational use based on the specific conditions is recommended in clinical practice. | Zhongyi Pan Mei Han Yifei Zhang Tianzhe Liu Lijun Zhou Daiying Tan Qi Wang Zhe Liu Yanling Fu | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2023,10,1: | 0 |

(Fu Zi in Chinese) by traditional Chinese medicine physicians–A cross-sectional questionnaire survey in Beijing显示文摘Objective:To investigate clinical application of aconite root(Aconitum carmichaelii Debx.;hereinafter“aconite”)by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)physicians in TCM hospitals in Beijing and explore the specific use of aconite and the effect of different doses on decoction time.Methods:This was a cross-sectional study using two-stage sampling.Questionnaires were administered among TCM physicians from TCM hospitals in Beijing between September 2020 and August 2021.The questionnaire mainly included general demographics,clinical backgrounds of TCM physicians,and clinical application of aconite.The data analyses were performed using SPSS 20.0.Results:A total of 387 questionnaires were collected,of which 385 were valid.Of the 385 participating TCM physicians,331(85.97%)used aconite in clinical practice.The top three medical diagnoses treated with aconite were heart failure,diarrhea without cause,and chronic gastritis.The TCM pattern treated most frequently with a high dose of aconite was spleen-kidney yang deficiency,and the TCM pattern treated most frequently with a low dose was spleen yang deficiency,while spleen-kidney yang deficiency was treated most frequently with a common dose of aconite.The top three common formulas were Sini decoction,Mahuang Xixin Fuzi decoction,and Zhenwu decoction.Hei Shun Pian was the most common herbal pieces of aconite.The highest frequency of the maximum dose of aconite was 15 g,that of the minimum dose was 3 g,and that of the common dose was 10 g.There was a certain correlation between decoction time and the dose of aconite.Most TCM physicians advised their patients to take medicine twice a day.Conclusion:In this study,we refined and quantified the use of aconite and enriched the exploration of the clinical application of aconite besides its provisions in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. | Xiaopeng Zhao Shenglou Ni Ning Liang Qiuchen Huang Zhongyi Pan Lin Zhang Jia Song Yanling Fu | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2021,8,4: | 0 |
| 15 | Why do stroke patients with negative motor evoked potential show poor limb motor function recovery?显示文摘Negative motor evoked potentials after cerebral infarction,indicative of poor recovery of limb motor function,tend to be accompanied by changes in fractional anisotropy values and the cerebral peduncle area on the affected side,but the characteristics of these changes have not been reported.This study included 57 cases of cerebral infarction whose motor evoked potentials were tested in the 24 hours after the first inspection for diffusion tensor imaging,in which 29 cases were in the negative group and 28 cases in the positive group.Twenty-nine patients with negative motor evoked potentials were divided into two groups according to fractional anisotropy on the affected side of the cerebral peduncle:a fractional anisotropy<0.36 group and a fractional anisotropy≥0.36 group.All patients underwent a regular magnetic resonance imaging and a diffusion tensor imaging examination at 1 week,1,3,6 and 12 months after cerebral infarction.The Fugl-Meyer scores of their hemiplegic limbs were tested before the magnetic resonance and diffusion tensor imaging examinations.In the negative motor evoked potential group,fractional anisotropy in the affected cerebral peduncle declined progressively,which was most obvious in the first 1–3 months after the onset of cerebral infarction.The areas and area asymmetries of the cerebral peduncle on the affected side were significantly decreased at 6 and 12 months after onset.At 12 months after onset,the area asymmetries of the cerebral peduncle on the affected side were lower than the normal lower limit value of 0.83.Fugl-Meyer scores in the fractional anisotropy≥0.36 group were significantly higher than in the fractional anisotropy<0.36 group at 3–12 months after onset.The fractional anisotropy of the cerebral peduncle in the positive motor evoked potential group decreased in the first 1 month after onset,and stayed unchanged from 3–12 months;there was no change in the area of the cerebral peduncle in the first 1–12 months after cerebral infarction.These findings confirmed that if the fractional anisotropy of the cerebral peduncle on the affected side is<0.36 and the area asymmetries<0.83 in patients with negative motor evoked potential after cerebral infarction,then poor hemiplegic limb motor function recovery may occur. | Zhibin Song Lijuan Dang Yanling Zhou Yanjiang Dong Haimao Liang Zhengfeng Zhu Suyue Pan | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,29: | 0 |

| 18 | Estimating PM_(2.5) concentrations in a central region of China usinga three-stage model显示文摘Owing to uneven environmental monitoring site distribution,there are significant spatial data gaps for concentrations of ambientfine particles with diameters≤2.5µm(PM_(2.5))obtained using traditional monitoring methods.Satellite products are an alternative data source for locations where monitoring sites are unavailable.The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)aerosol optical depth(AOD)product has been widely used in PM_(2.5) assessment for years;however,it has obvious data gaps in winter.Here,the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite(VIIRS)AOD was applied to supplement MODIS AOD data to obtain a fused AOD dataset.A three-stage model consisting of a corrected AOD model,mixed effects model,and geographically weighted regression model was developed and used with meteorological and vegetation factors to estimate PM_(2.5).Results showed overall modelfitting by cross-validation(CV)with an R^(2) of 0.92,mean absolute error of 5.72μg/m^(3),and root mean square error of 7.15μg/m^(3).The combination of MODIS AOD and VIIRS AOD was a suitable method for enhancing AOD coverage.The CV R^(2) value of the three-stage model(0.92)was higher than that of the two-stage model(0.9).Hence,the three-stage model could achieve a betterfit in estimating PM_(2.5) on a regional scale. | Yue Jing Long Pan Yanling Sun | 2023 | International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 19 | Pathological study of 130 cases of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease based on NASH-CRN system显示文摘To summarize the pathological features of non-alcoholic liver disease(NAFLD)in China based on a histo-logical scoring system for NAFLD designed by the Pathology Committee of NASH Clinical Research Network(NASH-CRN),the specimens of liver needle biopsies from 130 patients with NAFLD were histopathologically analyzed by haematoxylin eosin,reticular fiber and Masson trichrome stain.Immunohistochemistry staining was used to exclude non-NAFLD cases combined with clinical data.Hepatic steatosis,lobular inflammation,hepatocytic ballooning and fibrosis were presented widespread in NAFLD liver tissues.Furthermore,macrovesicular steatosis predominantly located in acinar zone 3 was the main histologic feature of NAFLD and lobular inflammation was usually presented mildly.Hepatocyte ballooning was observed in 94.6%of all 130 cases.Mild perisinusoidal fibrosis and periportal fibrosis were often observed in stage 1 cases.According to the stati-stic analysis,hepatic steatosis was positively correlated with lobular inflammation,hepatocytic ballooning and fibrosis(r=0.587,0.488,0.374,respectively,all P value<0.01).The number of microgranulomas,lipogranulomas and apo-ptotic bodies increased following severity of steatosis,lobular inflammation and fibrosis.Meanwhile,the number of mega-mitochondria and glycogen nuclei was paralleveled to the degree of hepatocytic ballooning(P value all<0.01).We suggest that the role of portal inflammation should be empha-sized besides hepatic steatosis,lobular inflammation,hepa-tocyte ballooning and fibrosis in diagnosis and evaluation of NAFLD.It needs to be further verified whether microgranu-lomas,lipogranulomas and apoptosis bodies could be used as histopathological markers of development of NAFLD.The number of megamitochondria is more frequently be found in NAFLD,while in alcoholic liver diseases was Mallory bodies. | ZHOU Guangde ZHAO Jingmin DING Xiaohui PAN Deng SUN Yanling YANG Jianfa ZHAO Yulai | 2007 | Frontiers of Medicine2007,1,4: | 0 |
| 20 | NIR assignment of isopsoralen by 2D-COS technology and model application in Yunkang Oral Liquid显示文摘Near infrared(NIR)assignment of Isopsoralen was performed using deuterated chloroform solvent and two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy(2D-COS)technology.Yunkang Oral Liquid was applied to study Isopsoralen,the characteristic bands by spectral assignment as well as the bands by interval partial least squares(iPLS)and synergy interval partial least squares(siPLS)were used to establish partial least squares(PLS)model.The coefficient of determination in calibration(R^(2)_(cal))were 0.9987,0.9970 and 0.9982.The coefficient of determination in cross validation(R^(2)_(val)) T were 0.9985,0.9921 and 0.9982.The coe±cient of determination in prediction(R^(2)_(pre)) T were 0.9987,0.9955 and 0.9988.The root mean square error of calibration(RMSEC)were 0.27,0.40 and 0.31 ppm.The root mean square error of cross validation(RMSECV)were 0.30,0.67 and 0.32 ppm.The root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)were 0.23,0.43 and 0.22 ppm.The residual predictive deviation(RPD)were 31.00,16.58 and 32.41.It turned out that the characteristic bands by spectral assignment had the same results with the chemometrics methods in PLS model.It provided guidance for NIR spectral assignment of chemical compositions in Chinese Materia Medica(CMM). | Yanling Pei Zhisheng Wu Xinyuan Shi Xiaoning Pan Yanfang Peng Yanjiang Qiao | 2015 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2015,8,6: | 0 |
