The two key material constants in the criterion are determined by the combination of tension tests with FE (finite element) simulation. On the basis of the values of stress and strain calculated from commercial finite element software, the forming limit in cylindrical deep drawing of annealed aluminum alloy LY12(M) is predicted by means of the new ductile fracture criterion. Experiments verify that the predicted results are in agreement with the experimental ones. | 4 | Neutrophil-derived heparin binding protein triggers vascular leakage and synergizes with myeloperoxidase at the early stage of severe burns(With video)显示文摘Background:Burn shock caused by vascular leakage is one of the main causes of high mortality in severe burn injury.However,the pathophysiological mechanism of vascular leakage is still unclear.The purpose of this study was to explore the molecular mechanism of vascular leakage in the early stage of severe burn and provide a new target for the treatment of severe burns.Methods:Neutrophils were isolated from human peripheral blood by magnetic beads sorting.ELISA was used to detect neutrophil-derived granule proteins and glycocalyx injury products in plasma.The vascular leakage and neutrophil movement were assessed by in vivo laser confocal imaging in mice,and high-quality video were provided.Adhesion-related molecules were investigated by qRT-PCR.The damage to glycocalyx of mice vascular endothelial cellswas observed by transmission electron microscope and scanning electron microscope.Proteomic analysis,flow cytometry and immunofluorescence were used to further study the relationship between human peripheral blood neutrophil-derived hypochlorite(HOCl)and CD44 of human vascular endothelial cells.Results:In this study,we found that rapidly increasing activated neutrophils secrete heparin binding protein(HBP)andmyeloperoxidase(MPO)after severe burn injury.Increased HBP triggers vascular leakage with synergy of MPO,results in systemic edema and burn shock.Furthermore,we found that the MPO catalytic product HOCl but not MPO triggers CD44 extracellular domain shedding from vascular endothelial cells to damage the glycocalyx.Damage to the glycocalyx results in firm adhesion of neutrophils and increases vascular leakage.However,MPO inhibitors partially protect the glycocalyx of vascular endothelial cells.The combination of HBP and MPO inhibitors markedly reduces vascular leakage and systemic edema in the early stage of severe burns.Conclusions:Taken together,these data reveal that neutrophil-derived HBP and MPO play an important synergies role in triggering vascular leakage at the early stage of severe burns.Targeted intervention in these two biomolecules may introduce new strategies for helping to reduce large amount of fluid loss and subsequent burn shock. | Lu Liu Yiming Shao Yixuan Zhang Yunxi Yang Jiamin Huang Linbin Li Ran Sun Yuying Zhou Yicheng Su Bingwei Sun | 2021 | Burns & Trauma2021,9,1: | 3 |
| 5 | A Hierarchical Forecasting Model for China's Foreign Trade显示文摘Analyzing the underlying characteristics of trade values movements has attracted much attention in the domestic research.However,the proposed understanding of these characteristics is limited by the intrinsic complexity of the imports/exports.Since economic systems are naturally organized by hierarchies,a novel hierarchical model is proposed in this paper to forecast China's foreign trade.First,the foreign trade data are disaggregated from perspectives of trading partners and trading products,forming two independent hierarchical models with total exports and imports as target variables.Second,a bottom-up strategy is applied.All bottom time series are modelled by corresponding control variables according to trading theories.Forecasts for bottom time series are then combined to generate initial forecasts for total exports and imports.Finally,forecasts for total imports and exports from the two hierarchical models,plus a single VECM model are combined to generate final forecasts.Empirical experiments show that this proposed forecasting model approach significantly outperforms benchmark models and produces consistent forecasts for both total imports and exports or detailed items,which helps a lot for analyzing future trading structure evolution and making foreign trade policies. | SUN Yuying ZHANG Xun WANG Shouyang | 2020 | Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2020,33,3: | 3 |
| 6 | Morphological Development of Fuel Droplets after Impacting Biomimetic Structured Surfaces with Different Temperatures显示文摘To improve the controllability for the evaporation process of fuel spray impinging on the cylinder wall,an experimental study on the development of morphological process of different fuel droplets on aluminium alloy surfaces is carried out.The metal surfaces with different wettability are prepared by laser etching and chemical etching for the experiments.In total,three different fuels are tested and compared under different surface temperatures,including diesel,n-butanol and dimethyl carbonate(DMC).The results show that under a lower wall temperature,the surface wettability,viscosity and surface tension of the fuels have significant effects on spreading and rebounding behaviour of the droplets.As the wall temperature rises over the boiling points of the fuel but below its Leidenfrost temperature,the contact angles between the fuels and surfaces are varying according to the surface wettability,boiling point and Leidenfrost temperature of the fuels.When the temperature of the surface exceeds the Leidenfrost temperature of all the fuels,after impacting the surfaces,different fuel droplets tend to have the same development pattern,regardless of the surface wettability.The rebound level is mainly affected by the amount of fuel vapour generated during the wall-hitting process.Viscosity,surface tension and other properties of the fuel have little effect on post-impacting behaviour of the droplet when the wall temperature is higher than the Leidenfrost temperature of the fuel. | Liang Guo Yuheng Gao Ningning Cai Degang Li Yuying Yan Wanchen Sun | 2020 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,4: | 2 |
| 7 | The earthquake precursor detected in a granular medium and a proposed model for the propagation of precursive stress-strain signal显示文摘A way to detect the seismic precursor in granular medium is described and a model of propagation for precursive stress-strain signals is proposed.A strain sensor buried in a sandpit is used to measure a seismic precursor signal.The signal has been investigated and confirmed to originate from a specific earthquake.A comparison of simulated and experimental signals indicates that the signal results from the strain in the earth's strata.Based on the behavioral characteristics of granular materials,an analysis of why this method can be so sensitive to the seismic strain signal is undertaken and a model for the propagation of this stress-strain signal is proposed.The Earth's lithosphere is formed of tectonic plates,faults and fault gouges at their boundaries.In the case of the quasi-static mechanics of seismic precursory stress-strain propagation,the crustal lithosphere should be treated as a large-scale granular system.During a seismogenic event,accumulated force generates the stick-slip motion of adjacent tectonic plates and incrementally pushes blocks farther apart through stick-slip shift.The shear force released through this plate displacement causes soil compression deformation.The discrete properties of the sand in the sandpit lead to the sensitive response of the sensor to the deformation signal which enables it to detect the seismic precursor.From the analysis of the mechanism of the stress-strain propagation in the lithosphere,an explanation is found for the lack of signal detection by sensors installed in rocks.The principles and method presented in this paper provide a new technique for investigating seismic precursors to shallow-source earthquakes. | LU KunQuan HOU MeiYing WANG Qiang PENG Zheng SUN Wei SUN XiaoMing WANG YuYing TONG XiaoHui JIANG ZeHui LIU JiXing | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,11: | 2 |
| 8 | Drug resistance mutation profiles of the drug-nave and first-line regimen-treated HIV-1-infected population of Suzhou, China显示文摘Little is known about the prevalence of drug-resistant mutations in HIV-1-positive individuals in Suzhou, China. To elucidate the transmitted drug resistance(TDR) and acquired drug resistance mutation(ADR) profiles, we collected blood specimens from 127 drug-naive and 117 first-line drugtreated HIV-1-infected individuals sampled from 2014 to 2016 in Suzhou. We successfully amplified po/fragments from 100 drug-naive and 20 drug-treated samples. We then determined the drugresistant mutations to protease(PR) and reverse-transcriptase(RT) inhibitors according to the Stanford drug resistance database. Overall, 11 and 13 individuals had transmitted(drug-naive group) and acquired(treated group) resistance mutations, respectively. Six transmitted drugresistant mutations were found, including two mutations(L33F and L76V) in the protease region and four(K70N/E and V179D/E) in the RT region. Only L76 V was a major mutation, and K70N/E and V179D/E are known to cause low-level resistance to RT inhibitors. All 13 treated participants who had major drug resistance mutations demonstrated intermediate to high resistance to efavirenz and nevirapine, and six had a treatment duration of less than three months. No major mutations to RT inhibitors were found, implying that the epidemic of transmitted resistance mutations was not significant in this area. Our results suggest that more frequent virus load and drug resistance mutation tests should be conducted for individuals receiving antiretroviral treatment, especially for newly treated patients. | 9 | Molecular assembly of recombinant chicken type II collagen in the yeast Pichia pastoris显示文摘Effective treatment of rheumatoid arthritis can be mediated by native chicken type II collagen(n CCII), recombinant peptide containing n CCII tolerogenic epitopes(CTEs), or a therapeutic DNA vaccine encoding the full-length CCOL2 A1 c DNA. As recombinant CCII(r CCII) might avoid potential pathogenic virus contamination during n CCII preparation or chromosomal integration and oncogene activation associated with DNA vaccines, here we evaluated the importance of propeptide and telopeptide domains on r CCII triple helix molecular assembly. We constructed p C-and p N-procollagen(without N-or Cpropeptides, respectively) as well as CTEs located in the triple helical domain lacking both propeptides and telopeptides, and expressed these in yeast Pichia pastoris host strain GS115(his4, Mut+) simultaneously with recombinant chicken prolyl-4-hydroxylase α and β subunits. Both p C-and p N-procollagen monomers accumulated inside P. pastoris cells, whereas CTE was assembled into homotrimers with stable conformation and secreted into the supernatants, suggesting that the large molecular weight p C-or p N-procollagens were retained within the endoplasmic reticulum whereas the smaller CTEs proceeded through the secretory pathway. Furthermore, resulting recombinant chicken type II collagen p Cα1(II) can induce collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) rat model, which seems to be as effective as the current standard n CCII. Notably, protease digestion assays showed that r CCII could assemble in the absence of C-and N-propeptides or telopeptides. | 12 | Do trace metal(loid)s in road soils pose health risks to tourists?A case of a highly-visited national park in China显示文摘Nowadays,more people tend to spend their recreational time in large national parks,and trace metal(loid)s in soils have attracted long-term attention due to their possible harm to human health.To investigate the pollution levels,potential sources and health risks of trace metal(loid)s in road soils,a total of eight trace metal(loid)s(including As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Ni,Pb,Zn and Hg)from 47 soil samples along roads were studied in the Huangshan National Park in Southeast China.The results showed that the concentrations of As,Cd,Pb,Zn and Hg appeared different degrees of pollution compared with their corresponding background values.According to the pollution indices,Hg and Cd were recognized as significant pollutants presenting moderate to high ecological risk.Combining principal component analysis and positive matrix factorization model,the results showed that traffic,industrial,agricultural and natural sources were the potential origins of trace metal(loid)s in this area,with contribution rates of 39.93%,25.92%,10.53%and 23.62%,respectively.Non-carcinogenic risks were all negligible,while the carcinogenic risk of As was higher than the limit(1×10^(-6)).Moreover,children were more susceptible to trace metal(loid)s by ingestion which appeared to be a more important exposure pathway than dermal contact and inhalation.The contribution rates of different sources to non-carcinogenic risks and carcinogenic risks were similar among children and adults,while traffic and industrial sources have a significant impact on health risks.This study will give more insights to control the environmental risks of trace metal(loid)s in national parks. | Jingling Huang Yuying Wu Yanyao Li Jiaxun Sun Yujing Xie Zhengqiu Fan | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,1: | 2 |

According to the results,there were three genotypes( AA,AB and BB) of NPY gene in Donglan black-bone chicken group. Different genotypes exhibited significant effects( P < 0. 05) on the total number of eggs at 300 days of age. The total number of eggs at 300 days of age of AA genotype was significantly higher than that of BB genotype( P < 0. 05).
