1Reduction of low-grade manganese oxide ore by biomass roasting显示文摘The reduction process of manganese dioxide in low-grade manganese ore by biomass roasting was investigated.The calcine of manganese oxide ore was further leached by sulphuric acid, the manganese in ore can be converted into manganese sulfate.Effects of the mass ratio of manganese ore to sawdust, roasting temperature and time, leaching temperature and time, leaching agent concentration and liquid-solid ratio were studied.97.71% of manganese recovery can be achieved under the optimal conditions:the mass ratio of manganese ore to sawdust of 5:1, roasting temperature at 500℃ for 40 min, leaching temperature at 60℃ for 40 min, sulphuric acid concentration of 1 mol/L and liquid-solid ratio of 10:1.Other types of low-grade manganese ore like Guilin ore, Nanning ore and Gongcheng ore were tested and the same results were obtained.Jingjing SONG Guocai ZHU Ping ZHANG Yuna ZHAO 2010Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2010,23,3:14

4Analysis of PM2.5 concentrations in Heilongjiang Province associated with forest cover and other factors显示文摘Atmospheric particulate matter(PM2.5) seriously influences air quality. It is considered one of the main environmental triggers for lung and heart diseases. Air pollutants can be adsorbed by forest. In this study we investigated the effect of forest cover on urban PM2.5 concentrations in 12 cities in Heilongjiang Province,China. The forest cover in each city was constant throughout the study period. The average daily concentration of PM2.5 in 12 cities was below 75 lg/m^3 during the non-heating period but exceeded this level during heating period. Furthermore, there were more moderate pollution days in six cities. This indicated that forests had the ability to reduce the concentration of PM2.5 but the main cause of air pollution was excessive human interference and artificial heating in winter. We classified the 12 cities according to the average PM2.5 concentrations. The relationship between PM2.5 concentrations and forest cover was obtained by integrating forest cover, land area,heated areas and number of vehicles in cities. Finally,considering the complexity of PM2.5 formation and based on the theory of random forestry, we selected six cities and analyzed their meteorological and air pollutant data. 5Wing load investigation of the plunge-diving locomotion of a gannet Morus inspired submersible aircraft显示文摘In this paper,we studied the wing root pivot joint’s radial load of a submersible airplane which imitates the locomotion of gannet’s Morus plunge-diving,by implementing a test device name Mimic-Gannet.The housing of the device was designed by mimicking the morphology of a living gannet,and the folding wings were realized by the mechanism of variable swept back wing.Then,the radial loads of the wing root were obtained under the conditions of different dropping heights,different sweptback angles and different water-entry inclination angles(i.e.,the angle between the longitudinal body axis and the water surface),and the relationships between the peak radial load and the above three parameters were analyzed and discussed respectively.In the studied areas,the minimum peak radial load of the pivot joint is 50.93 N,while the maximum reaches up to1135.00 N.The largest peak load would be generated for the situation of vertical water entry and zero wing sweptback angle.And it is of great significance to choose the three parameters properly to reduce the pivot joint’s radial load,i.e.,larger wing sweptback angle,smaller dropping height and water-entry inclination angle.It is also concluded that the peak radial load on the wing root is closely linear with the water-entry dropping height and the wing sweptback angle with a significant correlation.Eventually,the relationship between the wing load and the dropping height,water-entry inclination angle or wing sweptback angle,could be used to calculate the wing load about plunge-diving of a submersible aircraft,and the conclusions reveal the wing load characteristic of the gannet’s plunge process for the biologists.LIANG JianHong YAO GuoCai WANG TianMiao YANG XingBang ZHAO WenDi SONG Gang ZHANG YuCheng 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,2:5
6Quantum information and many body physics with cold atoms显示文摘We review our recent theoretical advances in quantum information and many body physics with cold atoms in various external potential, such as harmonic potential, kagome optical lattice, triangular optical lattice, and honeycomb lattice. The many body physics of cold atom in harmonic potential is investigated in the frame of mean-field Gross-Pitaevskii equation. Then the quantum phase transition and strongly correlated effect of cold atoms in triangular optical lattice, and the interacting Dirac fermions on honeycomb lattice, are investigated by using cluster dynamical mean-field theory and continuous time quantum Monte Carlo method. 7Reduction of Low-grade Manganese Dioxide Ore Pellets by Biomass Wheat Stalk显示文摘An investigation on reducing low-grade manganese dioxide ore pellets was carried out by using wheat stalk as reductant. The main impact factors of reduction percent such as particle size, biomass/ore ratio, heating rate, nitrogen flow rate, temperature and time in reduction process were discussed. The morphology and component of manganese dioxide ore particle at different stages were also analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The results show the increase of the reduction temperature and time, biomass/ore ratio, and the decrease of particle size, heating rate and nitrogen flow rate can significantly enhance reduction efficiency. The reduction kinetic of the manganese ore is controlled by three-dimensional mass diffusion of gaseous reductive volatiles passing from the surface to the core of the ore particles. The activation energy E and frequency factor A were calculated to be 24.15 kJ · mol-1 and 166 min-1 , respectively. 8High-throughput sequencing analysis of the regulation of intestinal flora in giant pandas with indigestion using a probiotic agent LyPB显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the eff ect of LyPB on the intestinal microfl ora of giant pandas with indigestion,using high-throughput sequencing(HTS)technology.The species distribution and microfl oral density and diversity before and after administration of the LyPB probiotic agent were analyzed.LyPB evidently has the ability to adjust the fl oral imbalance in the panda’s intestine.To test the eff ects of LyPB on the microfl ora of the panda gut,fecal samples were taken from a healthy giant panda(Anan)without administration of LyPB and from a dyspeptic giant panda Yangyang before and after LyPB administration.Compared with the sample obtained from healthy Anan(anan-c)and that obtained from dyspeptic Yangyang before LyPB administration(yangyang1),the sample taken from Yangyang(yangyang2)after LyPB administration displayed a signifi cant increase in the operational taxonomic unit index.An increase in the Chao index indicated an increase in the microfl oral richness,while an increase in the Shannon index indicated an increase in microfl oral diversity.At phylum and genus levels,a signifi cant increase was observed in the density of probiotic bacteria of phylum fi rmicutes,genus Streptococcus,while a drastic reduction in the density of Escherichia coli/Escherichia coli Shigella/bacteria of genus Shigella was observed.Data obtained in this study shows that LyPB preparations successfully improve the microbial structure within the panda’s intestinal canal by signifi cantly increasing the eff ective microbial community and decreasing the number of pathogenic microbes.Yu Zhang Zhi Zhang Jianzhang Ma Bo Luo Guiquan Zhang Guocai Zhang Kexin Yang Gang Wei 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,6:3
9An investigation on stability of biomass reduced manganese dioxide ore显示文摘In this study,how to improve the stability of reduced manganese oxide ore was discussed by investigating reoxidation conditions and kinetics mechanism in the cooling process of manganese dioxide ore reduced by biomass.The effects of the temperature and time,chip size of biomass,raw materials thickness and different additives on stability of the products were determined.The valence variation of manganese in ore and the reoxidation kinetics of reduced products were studied.The results show that decrease of reduction temperature and time,and increase of raw materials thickness and little H2SO4 additive are favorable for the stability of the reduced products.The kinetics mechanism of the reoxidation is controlled by diffusion with dynamic apparent activation energy of E1=25.10 kJ·mol-1,and conformation of manganese in the process is changed from MnO to Mn3O4.Honglei ZHANG Guocai ZHU Hong YAN Yuna ZHAO Fangpu CHEN Wenjuan WANG 2012Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2012,25,6:2

12Extraction optimization of insecticidal compounds from Lysurus mokusin by response surface methodology显示文摘We optimized the extraction process of Lysurus mokusin(L.)Fr.insecticidal compound(LMIC)using response surface methodology with ultrasonic extraction(UE).The surface morphologies of maceration extract(ME)and UE residues were compared by scanning electron microscopy,and then the activity of LMIC on Lymantria dispar(Asian gypsy moths)larvae was determined.Results showed that the optimal condition of UE was followed by 80 min of extraction time,60%of ethanol concentration and 80 mL g^-1 of liquid–solid ratio.The surface morphologies of UE residue were looser and rougher than ME residue.The corrected mortalities of LMIC on L.dispar larvae was 59.77%.This result indicated that L.mokusin was a good candidate as pesticide for pest management.Liannan Lin Jing Yang Guocai Zhang Xiaobo Zhang Chuanshan Zou Tingyu Wang Jianyong Zeng 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,5:2

15Tungsten oxide thin films for highly sensitive triethylamine detection显示文摘Metal oxide semiconductor(MOS)thin films are promising sensing layer for integration in gas sensor devices for detecting toxic and harmful molecules.Herein,tungsten oxide(WO_(3))thin films are deposited on interdigital electrodes by vacuum thermal evaporation to realize batch fabrication of high-performance gas sensors.Subsequent annealing at different temperatures allows for regulation of the concentration of oxygen vacancies in the WO_(3) films,which has been found to exert a great influence on the sensor properties.In addition,the surface structure of WO_(3) films is also highly dependent on the annealing temperature.Gas sensing investigations show that the WO_(3) sensor annealed at 500℃ pos-sesses the best sensing properties for detecting triethylamine(TEA)including very high response,good selectivity,fast response,and low limit of detection(63 ppb).The excellent sensor performances are attributed to the enhanced adsorption of oxidative oxygen species due to the presence of abundant oxygen vacancies.The scalable fabrication of WO_(3) thin film gas sensors and the oxygen vacancy engi-neering strategy proposed herein may shed some light to developing high performance environmental sensors.Guanglu Lei Zishuo Li Guocai Lu Jinyuan Hu Haochuan Shang Xiaolei Zhang Xianghong Liu Jun Zhang Xiangxin Guo 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:1

18High thermoelectric performance at room temperature of n-type Mg_(3)Bi_(2)-based materials by Se doping显示文摘Bi_(2)Te_(3) based alloys have been the most widely used thermoelectric material at low temperature for many decades.Here we report Se doped n-type Mg_(3)Bi_(2) based materials with a thermoelectric figure-of-merit ZT of 0.82 at 300 K and a peak ZT of 1.24 at 498 K,which is comparable to the n-type Bi_(2)Te_(3) and Te doped Mg_(3)Bi_(1.4)Sb_(0.6).The improved thermoelectric performance is benefited from the high carrier concentration and mobility as well as the thermal conductivity reduction.The reduced resistivity increased the power factor at all measured temperatures,leading to a higher engineering ZT(ZTeng)and engineering power factor(PFeng)for n-type Mg_(3)Bi_(2).The n-type Mg_(3)Bi_(1.4)Sb_(0.6) materials are promising for thermoelectric power generation and cooling applications near room temperature.Xiaobo Mo Jiansong Liao Guocai Yuan Sha Zhu Xiaobo Lei Lihong Huang Qinyong Zhang Chao Wang Zhifeng Ren 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,4:1
