1Curcumenol triggered ferroptosis in lung cancer cells via lncRNA H19/miR-19b-3p/FTH1 axis显示文摘Curcumenol,an effective ingredient of Wenyujin,has been reported that exerted its antitumor potential in a few cancer types.However,the effect and molecular mechanism of curcumenol in lung cancer are largely unknown.Here,we found that curcumenol induced cell death and suppressed cell proliferation in lung cancer cells.Next,we demonstrated that ferroptosis was the predominant method that contributed to curcumenol-induced cell death of lung cancer in vitro and vivo for the first time.Subsequently,using RNA sequencing,we found that the long non-coding RNA H19(lncRNA H19)was significantly downregulated in lung cancer cells treated with curcumenol,when compared to untreated controls.Overexpression of lncRNA H19 eliminated the anticancer effect of curcumenol,while lncRNA H19 knockdown promoted ferroptosis induced by curcumenol treatment.Mechanistically,we showed that lncRNA H19 functioned as a competing endogenous RNA to bind to miR-19b-3p,thereby enhanced the transcription activity of its endogenous target,ferritin heavy chain 1(FTH1),a marker of ferroptosis.In conclusion,our data show that the natural product curcumenol exerted its antitumor effects on lung cancer by triggering ferroptosis,and the lncRNA H19/miR-19b-3p/FTH1 axis plays an essential role in curcumenol-induced ferroptotic cell death.Therefore,our findings will hopefully provide a valuable drug for treating lung cancer patients.Ruonan Zhang Ting Pan Yu Xiang Mingming Zhang Han Xie Zimao Liang Bi Chen Cong Xu Jing Wang Xingxing Huang Qianru Zhu Ziming Zhao Quan Gao Chengyong Wen Wencheng Liu Weirui Ma Jiao Feng Xueni Sun Ting Duan Elaine Lai-Han Leung Tian Xie Qibiao Wu Xinbing Sui 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:8
2Month ahead average daily electricity price profile forecasting based on a hybrid nonlinear regression and SVM model:an ERCOT case study显示文摘With the deregulation of the electric power industry, electricity price forecasting plays an increasingly important role in electricity markets, especially for retailors and investment decision making. Month ahead average daily electricity price profile forecasting is proposed for the first time in this paper. A hybrid nonlinear regression and support vector machine(SVM) model is proposed. Offpeak hours, peak hours in peak months and peak hours in off-peak months are distinguished and different methods are designed to improve the forecast accuracy. A nonlinear regression model with deviation compensation is proposed to forecast the prices of off-peak hours and peak hours in off-peak months. SVM is adopted to forecast the prices of peak hours in peak months. 3Metal-Free C_(3)N_(4) with plentiful nitrogen vacancy and increased specific surface area for electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction显示文摘As a substitute for synthetic ammonia under mild condition, electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR) provides a hopeful approach for the development of ammonia. Nevertheless, the current development of NRR electrocatalysts is far from enough and a systematic research is needed to gain a better improvement. This article presents that 2 D C_(3)N_(4)-NV with a large specific surface area and abundant nitrogen vacancies is prepared by a simple and feasible method, and used as a metal-free catalyst for electrocatalytic NRR. Experiment result and density functional theory(DFT) calculation reveal that nitrogen vacancies in 2 D C_(3)N_(4)-NV can act as an efficient active site for catalytic NRR, which is conducive to capturing and activating N_(2), lowering Gibbs free energy(DG) in reaction and inhibiting hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) at the same time. In addition, the larger specific surface area also makes more active site exposed, which is good for the contact between the electrolyte and the active site, thus enhancing its NRR activity. 4Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 5Analysis on the Impacts of Straw Burning on Air Quality in Beijing -Tianjing - Hebei Region显示文摘The beginning of October is the high occurrence period of straw burning in North China and Jianghuai region. Heavy pollution weather caused by straw burning often takes place in recent two years,and thus human factor increases the unpredictability of the air quality forecast. In the early autumn of 2015,a continuous fog-haze weather and heavy air pollution event occurred in North China and Jianghuai region due to the straw burning. In this paper,the effect of straw burning on air quality under the same adverse diffusive meteorological conditions has been analyzed by using the ground and upper air meteorological observation data and air quality monitoring data of Environmental Protection Agency in recent two years. The comparison results show that the basic conditions of heavy pollution are weak wind and the unfavorable diffusion situation. 8Influence of circulation types on temporal and spatial variations of ozone in Beijing显示文摘This study analyzes the impact of circulation types(CTs)on ozone(O_(3))pollution in Beijing.The easterly high-pressure(SWW)circulation occurred most frequently(30%;276 day),followed by northwesterly high-pressure(AN)circulation(24.3%;224 day).The SWW type had the highest O_(3) anomaly of+17.28μg/m^(3),which was caused by excellent photochemical reactions,poor diffusion ability and regional transport.Due to the higher humidity and precipitation in the low-pressure type(C),the O_(3) increase(+8.02μg/m^(3))was less than that in the SWW type.Good diffusion/wet deposition and weak formation ability contributed to O_(3) decrease in AN(-12.54μg/m^(3))and northerly high-pressure(ESN)CTs(-12.26μg/m^(3)).The intra-area transport of O_(3) was significant in polluted circulations(SWW-and C-CTs).In addition,higher temperature,radiation and less rainfall also contributed to higher O_(3) in northern Beijing under the SWW type.For the clean CTs(AN and ESN CTs),precursor amount and intra-area transport played a dominant role in O_(3) distribution.Under the northeasterly low-pressure CT,better formation conditions and higher precursor amount combined with the intra-area southerly transport to cause higher O_(3) values in the south than in the north.The higher O_(3) in the northwestern area under the northeasterly high-pressure type was influenced by weaker titration loss and high O_(3) concentration in previous day.Annual variation in the CTs contributed up to 86.1%of the annual variation in O_(3).About 78%-83%of the diurnal variation in O_(3) resulted from local meteorological factors.Xiaowan Zhu JinWu Guiqian Tang Lin Qiao Tingting Han Xiaomei Yin Xiangxue Liu Ziming Li Yajun Xiong Di He Zhiqiang Ma 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,8:1
9Variation in Sunshine Duration and Related Aerosol Influences at Shangdianzi GAW Station, China: 1958–2021显示文摘Sunshine duration(SD) is adopted widely to study global dimming/brightening. However, long-term simultaneous measurements of SD and closely related impact factors require further analysis to elucidate how and why SD has varied during the past decades. In this study, a long-term(1958–2021) SD data series obtained from the Shangdianzi Global Atmosphere Watch(GAW) station in China was analyzed to detect linear trends, climatic jumps, and climatic periods in SD using linear fitting, the Mann–Kendall trend test, and the continuous wavelet transform method. Annual SD exhibited steady dimming(-67.3 h decade-1) before 2010, followed by a period of brightening(189.9 h decade-1)during 2011–2020. An abrupt jump in annual SD occurred in 1995, and the annual SD anomaly exhibited significant oscillation with ~3-yr periodicity during 1960–1978. Partial least squares analysis revealed that annual SD anomaly was associated with variations in relative humidity, gale days, cloud cover, and black carbon(BC). Further analysis of the clear-sky daily sunshine percentage(DSP) and simultaneous measurements of aerosol properties, including aerosol optical depth, aerosol extinction coefficient, single scattering albedo(SSA), BC, and total suspended particulates, suggested that variation in DSP was affected primarily by aerosol scattering and absorption. Furthermore, the hourly clear-sky SD at high aerosol loading was approximately 60% and 56% of that at middle and low aerosol loadings, respectively. 12Advances in the Application of Perovskite Materials显示文摘Nowadays, the soar of photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells has set off a fever in the study of metal halide perovskite materials. The excellent optoelectronic properties and defect tolerance feature allow metal halide perovskite to be employed in a wide variety of applications. This article provides a holistic review over the current progress and future prospects of metal halide perovskite materials in representative promising applications, including traditional optoelectronic devices(solar cells, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers), and cutting-edge technologies in terms of neuromorphic devices(artificial synapses and memristors) and pressure-induced emission. 13Molecular phylogeny of European and African Barbus and their West Asian relatives in the Cyprininae(Teleostei:Cypriniformes)and orogenesis of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The phylogenetic relationships of European and African Barbus and their West Asian relatives in Cyprininae remain largely unresolved.Consequently,little is known about the drivers of their evolution,including the possible association of uplifting of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP)with the early divergence of the subfamily.We use complete sequence data of the mitochondrial DNA gene encoding the protein cytochrome b(Cytb)to hypothesize the phylogeny of 85 species belonging to 47 genera in the Cyprininae plus 6 species from the Leuciscinae.We employ 6 other species from Cypriniformes as outgroup taxa and estimate divergence times.Our results indicate that European Barbus sensu stricto lineage including Aulopyge shares a common ancestor with specialized and highly specialized schizothoracins and the genera Cyprinion and Scaphiodonichtys.The common ancestor appears to have originated in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP)region about 19.4–17.8 Ma.Barbus sensu stricto lineage appears to have originated about 16.6–15.5 Ma.Small to medium sized African Barbus sensu lato appear to have had an Oriental origin about 19.1–15.3 Ma and are closely related to Asian Puntius.West Asian Carasobarbus lineage including large African Barbus sensu lato might have originated about 9.94 Ma,also in Oriental Realm and has a close relationship to Asian Neolissochilus and Tor.The large-sized Barbus sensu lato appear to have diverged from Carasobarbus about 7.7 Ma.Finally,the Cyprininae appear to have radiated rapidly into nine lineages and many sublineages from about 27.8 to 17.8 Ma,close to the time of the second-stage tectonic movements of the QTP.Our analyses provide evidence that the uplifting of the QTP drove early diversification of the Cyprininae.Our extensive sampling of species involving all of the important areas results in clear evolutionary scenario for the Cyprininae.WANG Jing WU XiaoYun CHEN ZiMing YUE ZhaoPing MA Wei CHEN ShanYuan XIAO Heng MURPHY Robert W ZHANG YaPing ZAN RuiGuang LUO Jing 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,31:0
14Fast Solution Method for the Large-scale Unit Commitment Problem with Long-term Storage显示文摘Long-term storage(LTS)can provide various services to address seasonal fluctuations in variable renewable energy by reducing energy curtailment.However,long-term unit commitment(UC)with LTS involves mixed-integer programming with large-scale coupling constraints between consecutive intervals(state-of-charge(SOC)constraint of LTS,ramping rate,and minimum up/down time constraints of thermal units),resulting in a significant computational burden.Herein,an iterative-based fast solution method is proposed to solve the long-term UC with LTS.First,the UC with coupling constraints is split into several sub problems that can be solved in parallel.Second,the solutions of the sub problems are adjusted to obtain a feasible solution that satisfies the coupling constraints.Third,a decoupling method for long-term time-series coupling constraints is proposed to determine the global optimization of the SOC of the LTS.The price-arbitrage model of the LTS determines the SOC boundary of the LTS for each sub problem.Finally,the sub problem with the SOC boundary of the LTS is iteratively solved independently.The proposed method was verified using a modified IEEE 24-bus system.The results showed that the computation time of the unit combination problem can be reduced by 97.8%,with a relative error of 3.62%.Bo Li Chunjie Qin Ruotao Yu Wei Dai Mengjun Shen Ziming Ma Jianxiao Wang 2023Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2023,9,3:0
15An Efficient Method for Identifying the Inactive Transmission Constraints in a Network-Constrained Unit Commitment显示文摘Network-constrained unit commitment(NCUC)is one of the most widely used applications in power system and electricity market operations.According to empirical evidence,some of the transmission constraints in a NCUC are inactive.Identifying and eliminating these inactive constraints can improve the efficiency.In this paper,an efficient method is first proposed for identifying the inactive transmission constraints.The physical and economic insights of NCUC are carefully considered and utilized.Both the generating costs and power transfer distribution factor(PTDF)are considered.Not only redundant constraints but also non-binding constraints can be identified via the proposed method.An acceleration method that combines relaxation-based neighborhood search and improved relaxation inducement is proposed for further reducing the computation time.The case study shows that the proposed method can significantly reduce the number of transmission constraints and substantially improve the efficiency of NCUC without impacting the optimality.Ziming Ma Haiwang Zhong Qing Xia Chongqing Kang Qiang Wang Xin Cao 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,6:0
