1A reversed CD4/CD8 ratio of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and a high percentage of CD4^(+)FOXP3^(+) regulatory T cells are significantly associated with clinical outcome in squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix显示文摘In this study,40 biopsy samples collected from cervical cancer patients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University,China,were retrospectively assessed using immunohistochemistry for CD4^(+) and CD8^(+) tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)and were analyzed for the expression of FOXP3,OX40,granzyme B(GrB)and perforin(Prf).The proliferating index of the TILs was determined by assessing Ki67 expression.We determined the prognostic value of low and high numbers of TILs on survival by performing Kaplan–Meier analysis using median values as the cut-off points.Except for the number of CD4^(+)FOXP3^(+) regulatory T cells(Tregs)and the CD4/CD8 ratio,none of the CD4^(+),CD8^(+),OX401,GrB^(+) or Prf^(+) TILs were associated with the overall 5-year survival rate.The 5-year survival rate was significantly lower in patients who had a high percentage of Tregs as compared with the those who had a lower percentage(35.3%versus 88.9%,P50.001),while the 5-year survival rate was significantly higher in patients with a high CD4/CD8 ratio as compared with patients who had a low CD4/CD8 ratio(82.4%versus 44.4%,P50.029).When we considered the deaths and surviving cases as separate groups,we found that both the number of CD4^(+) T cells and the CD4/CD8 ratio were significantly lower in patients who died as compared with those who survived(26.33±11.80 versus 47.79±38.18,P=0.023 and 0.60±0.25 versus 1.17±1.02,P=0.019,respectively).In conclusion,decreased proportions of tumor-infiltrating CD4^(+) T cells with high percentages of Tregs and reversed CD4/CD8 ratios were significantly associated with the clinical outcome of patients with cervical carcinoma.Walayat Shah Xiaofei Yan Li Jing Yi Zhou Hongwei Chen Yili Wang 2011Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,1:24

3Numerical simulation of gas flow process in mining-induced crack network显示文摘The exploitation of coal bed methane or coal gas is one of the most effective solutions of the problem of coal gas hazard.A better understanding of gas flow in mining-induced cracks plays an important role in comprehensive development and utilization of coal gas as well as prevention of coal gas hazard.This paper presents a case study of gas flow in mining-induced crack network regarding the situation of low permeability of coal seam.A two-dimensional physical model is constructed on the basis of geological background of mining face No.1122(1) in coal seam No.11-2,Zhangji Coal Mine,Huainan Mining Group Corporation.The mining-induced stress and cracks in overburden rocks are obtained by simulating an extraction in physical model.An evolution of mining-induced cracks in the process of advancing of coal mining face is characterized and three typical crack networks are taken from digital photos by means of image analysis.Moreover,the numerical software named COMSOL Multiphysics is employed to simulate the process of gas flow in three representative crack networks.Isograms of gas pressure at various times in mining-induced crack networks are plotted,suggesting a shape and dimension of gas accumulation area.Zhou Hongwei Liu Jinfeng Xue Dongjie Yi Haiyang Xue Junhua 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6:14
4Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 5The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. 7The Low Energy X-ray telescope (LE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Low Energy X-ray telescope(LE) is one of the three main instruments of the Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT). It is equipped with Swept Charge Device(SCD) sensor arrays with a total geometrical area of 384 cm^2 and an energy band from 0.7 to 13 ke V. In order to evaluate the particle induced X-ray background and the cosmic X-ray background simultaneously, LE adopts collimators to define four types of Field Of Views(FOVs), i.e., 1.6°×6°, 4°×6°, 50°-60°×2°-6 oand the blocked ones which block the X-ray by an aluminum cover. LE is constituted of three detector boxes(LEDs) and an electric control box(LEB) and achieves a good energy resolution of 140 e V@5.9 ke V, an excellent time resolution of 0.98 ms, as well as an extremely low pileup(<1%@18000 cts/s). 8Microwave absorbing properties and magnetic properties of different carbon nanotubes显示文摘The microwave absorbing properties and magnetic properties of as-grown Fe-filled carbon nanotubes (CNTs), annealed Fe-filled CNTs, and multi-walled CNTs were studied. Vibrating sample magnetometer results showed that the annealed Fe-filled CNTs have the weakest coercivity and strongest saturation magnetization among the three types CNTs, due to the presence of more ferromagnetic α-Fe nanowires. After annealing, the values increased to 291.0 Oe and 28.0 emu/g and the samples showed excellent microwave absorbing properties. 13Genetic Analysis of FBXO2, FBXO6, FBXO12, and FBXO41 Variants in Han Chinese Patients with Sporadic Parkinson's Disease显示文摘Parkinson's disease(PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder and has an elusive etiology. It is likely multifactorial, and genetic defects contribute to its pathogenesis. At least 25 genetic loci and20 monogenic genes have been identified in monogenic PD. Recessive F-box protein 7 gene(FBXO7) mutations reportedly cause hereditary parkinsonism. To explore the roles of four paralogs(FBXO2, FBXO6, FBXO12, and FBXO41) in PD development, their variants(rs9614,rs28924120, rs6442117, and rs61733550, respectively)were analyzed in 502 Han Chinese patients with PD and556 age, gender, and ethnicity-matched normal participants in China's Mainland. Statistically significant differences in genotypic and allelic frequencies were detected only in the FBXO2 variant rs9614(P = 0.001 and 0.023, respectively;odds ratio 0.819, 95% confidence interval 0.690–0.973)between patients and controls. 14Combined amendment reduces soil Cd availability and rice Cd accumulation in three consecutive rice planting seasons显示文摘The scientific application of stabilized materials has been considered an effective method for the in situ remediation of Cd-contaminated soil.This study aimed to investigate the persistence of the effect of a combined amendment of limestone and sepiolite(LS)on soil Cd availability and accumulation in rice grown in a mildly Cd-contaminated paddy field(0.45 mg/kg of Cd)over three consecutive rice seasons.1125–4500 kg/ha of LS was applied to the soil before the first rice planting season and 562.5–2250 kg/ha of LS was supplemented before the third rice planting season.The application of LS(1125–4500 kg/ha)increased the soil p H by 0.44–1.09,0.18–0.53,and 0.42–0.68 in the first,second,and third season,respectively,and decreased the soil acid-extractable Cd content by 18.2–36.4%,17.7–33.5%,and9.6–17.6%.LS application significantly decreased the Cd contents in the rice tissues.The application of 4500 kg/ha of LS decreased the Cd content in brown rice to below the National Food Limit Standard of 0.2 mg/kg(GB 2762-2017)in the three consecutive rice seasons.However,the effect of LS on the soil-rice system was significantly weakened in the third season.The supplementary application of 562.5–2250 kg/ha of LS further decreased the Cd content in brown rice by 26.1–56.5%and decreased the health risk index by 23.7–43.8%.Therefore,it was recommended to apply 4500 kg/ha of LS in the first season and to supplement2250 kg/ha of LS in the third season to effectively guarantee the clean production of rice in three consecutive rice seasons.Wenjun Yang Shilong Wang Hang Zhou Min Zeng Jingyi Zhang Fang Huang Shiping Shan Zhaohui Guo Hongwei Yi Zhiguang Sun Jiaofeng Gu Bohan Liao 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,1:4

19Deformation analysis of transversely isotropic coal-rock mass with porous and cracks显示文摘Coal-rock as a typical sedimentary rock has obvious stratification,namely it has transversely isotropic feature.Meanwhile,deformation leads to coal-rock mass having the characteristics of different porous and crack structures as well as local anisotropy.Equivalent axial and circumferential strain' formulas of the pure coal-rock mass specimen with a single crack were derived through the establishment of equivalent mechanical model of standard cylindrical coal-rock specimen,and have been widely used to a variety of media combined different structures containing multiple cracks.The complete stress strain curve of a real coal-rock specimen was obtained by the CTC test.Additionally,according to the comparison with the theoretical value,the theoretical mechanical model could well explain the deformation characteristics of coal-rock mass and verify its validity.Further,following features were analyzed:strain normalized coefficient and elastic modulus(Poisson's ratio) in vertical and parallel direction to the stratification,stratification angle,porosity,pore radius,normal and tangential stiffness of crack,and the relationship of different crack width with different tangential stiffness of crack.Through the analysis above,it substantiate this claim that the theoretical model with better reliability reflects the transversely isotropic nature of the coal-rock and the local anisotropy caused by the porous and cracks.Xue Dongjie Zhou Hongwei Kong Lin Tang Xianli Zhao Tian Yi Haiyang Zhao Yufeng 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6:3
