1Endothelial CDS2 deficiency causes VEGFA-mediated vascular regression and tumor inhibition显示文摘The response of endothelial cells to signaling stimulation is critical for vascular morphogenesis,homeostasis and function.Vascular endothelial growth factor-a(VEGFA)has been commonly recognized as a pro-angiogenic factor in vertebrate developmental,physiological and pathological conditions for decades.Here we report a novel finding that genetic ablation of CDP-diacylglycerol synthetase-2(CDS2),a metabolic enzyme that controls phosphoinositide recycling,switches the output of VEGFA signaling from promoting angiogenesis to unexpectedly inducing vessel regression.Live imaging analysis uncovered the presence of reverse migration of the angiogenic endothelium in cds2 mutant zebrafish upon VEGFA stimulation,and endothelium regression also occurred in postnatal retina and implanted tumor models in mice.In tumor models,CDS2 deficiency enhanced the level of tumorsecreted VEGFA,which in-turn trapped tumors into a VEGFA-induced vessel regression situation,leading to suppression of tumor growth.Mechanistically,VEGFA stimulation reduced phosphatidylinositol(4,5)-bisphosphate(PIP2)availability in the absence of CDS2-controlled-phosphoinositide metabolism,subsequently causing phosphatidylinositol(3,4,5)-triphosphate(PIP3)deficiency and F0X01 activation to trigger regression of CDS2-null endothelium.Thus,our data indicate that the effect of VEGFA on vasculature is context-dependent and can be converted from angiogenesis to vascular regression.Wencao Zhao Le Cao Hanru Ying Wenjuan Zhang Dantong Li Xiaolong Ziiu Wenzhi Xue Shuang Wu Mengye Cao Cong Fu Haonan Qi Yimei Hao Yun-Chi Tang Jun Qin Tao PZhong Xiaoxi Lin Luyang Yu Xuri Li Lin Li Dianqing Wu Weijun Pan 2019Cell Research2019,29,11:9

4Design and measurement of signal processing system for cavity beam position monitor显示文摘In this paper,in order to achieve the output signal processing of cavity beam position monitor(CBPM),we develop a digital intermediate frequency receiver architecture based signal processing system,which consists of radio frequency(RF) front end and high speed data acquisition board.The beam position resolution in the CBPM signal processing system is superior to 1μm.Two signal processing algorithms,fast Fourier transform(FFT) and digital down converter(DDC),are evaluated offline using MATLAB platform,and both can be used to achieve,the CW input signal,position resolutions of 0.31μm and 0.10μm at -16 dBm.The DDC algorithm for its good compatibility is downloaded into the FPGA to realize online measurement,reaching the position resolution of 0.49μm due to truncation error.The whole system works well and the performance meets design target.WANG Baopeng LENG Yongbin YU Luyang ZHOU Weimin YUAN Renxian CHEN Zhichu 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2:3

6Development of Chrysomya megacephala at constant temperatures within its colony range in Yangtze River Delta region of China显示文摘Chrysomya megacephala (Fabricius,1794) is the most abundant and predominant species which arrives and colonizes a cadaver first in most parts of China.Therefore,its growth and development patterns have great implications in the estimation of the minimum postmortem interval (PMImin).In this study,C megacephala was collected from the Yangtze River Delta region and reared at seven constant temperatures ranging from 16 ℃ to 34 ℃.The developmental duration and accumulated degree hours,larval body length and morphological changes of C.megacephala were examined.Furthermore,we constructed three developmental models,isomorphen diagram,isomegalen diagram and thermal summation model,which can be used for estimating PMImin.The developmental durations of C.megacephala at 16 ℃,19 ℃,22 ℃,25 ℃,28 ℃,31 ℃ and 34 ℃ are (794.8 ± 14.7),(533.2 ± 10.1),(377.8 ± 16.8),(280.8 ± 15.1),(218.9 ± 8.5),(190.8 ± 10.1) and (171.8 ± 6.8) h,respectively.The developmental threshold temperature D0 is (11.41 ± 0.32) ℃,and the thermal summation constant K is (3 418.7 ± 137.0) degree hours.Regression analysis was conducted to obtain equations of the variation in larval body length with time after hatching,and variation in time after hatching with body length.Moreover,our study divides the intra-puparial morphological changes of C.megacephala into 11 sub-stages,and provides the time range experienced by each sub-stage.The results of this study provide fundamental development data for the use of C.megacephala in PMImin estimations.Yingna Zhang Yu Wang Lijun Yang Luyang Tao Jiangfeng Wang 2018Forensic Sciences Research2018,3,1:2
7Energy Efficient Switch Policy for Small Cells显示文摘Switch policy is essential for small cells to properly serve variable number of users in an energy efficient way.However,frequently switching small cell base stations(SBSs) may increase the network operating cost,especially when there is an nonnegligible start-up energy cost.To this end,by observing the variety of user number,we focus on the design of a switch policy which minimize the cumulative energy consumption.A given user transmission rate is guaranteed and the capability of SBSs are limited as well.According to the knowledge on user number variety,we classify the energy consumption problem into two cases.In complete information case,to minimize the cumulative energy consumption,an offline solution is proposed according to critical segments.A heuristic algorithm for incomplete information case(HAIIC) is proposed by tracking the difference of cumulative energy consumption.The upper bound of the Energy Consumption Ratio(ECR) for HAIIC is derived as well.In addition,a practical Q-learning based probabilistic policy is proposed.Simulation results show that the proposed HAIIC algorithm is able to save energy efficiently.GAN Xiaoying WANG Luyang FENG Xinxin LIU Jing YU Hui ZHANG Zhizhong LIU Haitao 2015China Communications2015,12,1:1
8Digital bunch-by-bunch transverse feedback system at SSRF显示文摘In order to suppress multi-bunch couple instabilities caused by transverse impedance, a bunch-by-bunch transverse feedback system based on a FPGA digital processor is commissioned at SSRF storage ring. The RF front end has two COD pre-rejected attenuators for increasing the system arrangement and signal noise ratio, and the 3*RF Local signal comes from the BPM's sum signal using a FIR filter for avoiding the effect of longitudinal oscillation. The digital processor receives the coupled horizontal and vertical oscillation signals in the base band and transforms the coupled signals to the horizontal and vertical feedback signals with two series double-zeroes FIR filters. A matlab GUI is applied for producing the FIR coefficients when the tune is shifted. The horizontal and vertical Kickers have a special design for increasing the shunt impedance. 12The existence of a nonclassical TCA cycle in the nucleus that wires the metabolic-epigenetic circuitry显示文摘The scope and variety of the metabolic intermediates from the mitochondrial tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle that are engaged in epigenetic regulation of the chromatin function in the nucleus raise an outstanding question about how timely and precise supply/consumption of these metabolites is achieved in the nucleus.We report here the identification of a nonclassical TCA cycle in the nucleus(nTCA cycle).We found that all the TCA cycle-associated enzymes including citrate synthase(CS),aconitase 2(ACO2),isocitrate dehydrogenase 3(IDH3),oxoglutarate dehydrogenase(OGDH),succinyl-CoA synthetase(SCS),fumarate hydratase(FH),and malate dehydrogenase 2(MDH2),except for succinate dehydrogenase(SDH),a component of electron transport chain for generating ATP,exist in the nucleus.We showed that these nuclear enzymes catalyze an incomplete TCA cycle similar to that found in cyanobacteria.We propose that the nTCA cycle is implemented mainly to generate/consume metabolic intermediates,not for energy production.We demonstrated that the nTCA cycle is intrinsically linked to chromatin dynamics and transcription regulation.Together,our study uncovers the existence of a nonclassical TCA cycle in the nucleus that links the metabolic pathway to epigenetic regulation.Xujun Liu Wenzhe Si Lin He Jianguo Yang Yani Peng Jie Ren Xiaoping Liu Tong Jin Huajing Yu Zihan Zhang Xiao Cheng Wenting Zhang Lu Xia Yunchao Huang Yue Wang Shumeng Liu Lin Shan Yu Zhang Xiaohan Yang Haixia Li Jing Liang Luyang Sun Yongfeng Shang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:0
13Cognitive control subprocess deficits and compensatory modulation mechanisms in patients with frontal lobe injury revealed by EEG markers:a basic study to guide brain stimulation显示文摘Background Frontal lobe injury(FLI)is related to cognitive control impairments,but the influences of FLI on the internal subprocesses of cognitive control remain unclear.Aims We sought to identify specific biomarkers for long-term dysfunction or compensatory modulation in different cognitive control subprocesses.Methods A retrospective case-control study was conducted.Event-related potentials(ERP),oscillations and functional connectivity were used to analyse electroencephalography(EEG)data from 12 patients with unilateral frontal lobe injury(UFLI),12 patients with bilateral frontal lobe injury(BFLI)and 26 healthy controls(HCs)during a Go/NoGo task,which included several subprocesses:perceptual processing,anticipatory preparation,conflict monitoring and response decision.Results Compared with the HC group,N2(the second negative peak in the averaged ERP waveform)latency,and frontal and parietal oscillations were decreased only in the BFLI group,whereas P3(the third positive peak in the averaged ERP waveform)amplitudes and sensorimotor oscillations were decreased in both patient groups.The functional connectivity of the four subprocesses was as follows:alpha connections of posterior networks in the BFLI group were lower than in the HC and UFLI groups,and these alpha connections were negatively correlated with neuropsychological tests.Theta connections of the dorsal frontoparietal network in the bilateral hemispheres of the BFLI group were lower than in the HC and UFLI groups,and these connections in the uninjured hemisphere of the UFLI group were higher than in the HC group,which were negatively correlated with behavioural performances.Delta and theta connections of the midfrontal-related networks in the BFLI group were lower than in the HC group.Theta across-network connections in the HC group were higher than in the BFLI group but lower than in the UFLI group.Conclusions The enhancement of low-frequency connections reflects compensatory mechanisms.In contrast,alpha connections are the opposite,therefore revealing more abnormal neural activity and less compensatory connectivity as the severity of injury increases.The nodes of the above networks may serve as stimulating targets for early treatment to restore corresponding functions.EEG biomarkers can measure neuromodulation effects in heterogeneous patients.Sinan Liu Chaoqun Shi Huanhuan Meng Yu Meng Xin Gong Xiping Chen Luyang Tao 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,4:0

15Absorption of Curcumin Monophosphate in Rat Intestinal Circulation显示文摘[Objectives] This study aimed to study the absorption of curcumin monophosphate, a derivative of curcumin, in the small intestine of rats. [Methods] In situ recirculation perfusion technique was used to study the absorption of curcumin monophosphate in intestinal circulation of rats, and the content of curcumin monophosphate in intestinal circulation solution was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography/ultraviolet detector(HPLC/UV). [Results] The established HPLC/UV method has good specificity. Linear regression was conducted between the peak area of curcumin monophosphate(A) and the concentration of curcumin monophosphate(C). The established standard curve equation was y=30.07x+102.48(R^2=0.999 0), indicating that curcumin monophosphate has good linearity in the range of 1.25-100.00 μg/mL. After excluding the degradation of the drug and the loss of sampling, within the first 2 h of the experiment, the drug absorption in the small intestine of rat was 1.39 mg, accounting for 97.2% of the total drug absorption during the 5-h experimental period, and the absorption rate was 53.9%.[Conclusions] Curcumin monophosphate has a good absorption in the small intestine of rats.Yu WANG Luyang DING Longru SUN 2019Medicinal Plant2019,10,1:0
16Steady-state model for predicting size-resolved gas-particle partitioning of semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in indoor environments显示文摘Semi-volatile organic compounds(SVOCs)are ubiquitous and important pollutants in indoor environments.The strong partition between gas phase and suspended particles has significant effects on the transport,human exposure via inhalation,and control strategies of indoor SVOCs.Several models have been developed to simulate the gas–particle partitioning of indoor SVOCs,including a steady-state model by expanding the steady-state model suitable for the outdoor environment to indoor environments.However,the effects of two important indoor environment-specific parameters,i.e.,the particle size distribution(PSD)and the air-change rate(ACH),were not considered in the existing steady-state model,leading to the inaccurate predictions among buildings.To solve this problem,this study developed a novel steady-state model to more comprehensively simulate the gas-particle partitioning of indoor SVOCs by incorporating the effects of PSD and ACH.Better agreement between the predictions of the novel model and the results collected via both field tests and laboratory tests(retrieved from two different studies)supported the effectiveness of the improvements in the novel model.Sensitivity analysis further supported the necessity of involving PSD and ACH.Further implications of the novel model were also discussed.This study should be helpful for deepening the understanding and accurate simulation of the gas-particle partitioning,as well as the transport and human exposure via inhalation,of indoor SVOCs.Jianping Cao Yu Han Yujie Zhu Xingyu Duan Luyang Wang Haibao Huang 2023Building Simulation2023,16,3:0
