| 1 | A Green Paradigm for Internet of Things: Ambient Backscatter Communications显示文摘Internet of Things (IoT) has attracted extensive interest from both academia and industries, and is recognized as an ultimate infrastructure to connect everything at anytime and anywhere. The implementation of IoT generally faces the challenges from energy constraint and implementation cost. In this paper, we will introduce a new green communication paradigm, the ambient backscatter (AmBC), that could utilize the environmental wireless signals for both powering a tiny-cost device and backscattering the information symbols. | 2 | Channel Estimation and Throughput Evaluation for 5G Wireless Communication Systems in Various Scenarios on High Speed Railways显示文摘The fifth generation(5 G) wireless communication is currently a hot research topic and wireless communication systems on high speed railways(HSR) are important applications of 5 G technologies. Existing studies about 5 G wireless systems on high speed railways(HSR) often utilize ideal channel parameters and are usually based on simple scenarios. In this paper, we evaluate the downlink throughput of 5 G HSR communication systems on three typical scenarios including urban, cutting and viaduct with three different channel estimators. The channel parameters of each scenario are generated with tapped delay line(TDL) models through ray-tracing simulations, which can be considered as a good match to practical situations. The channel estimators including least square(LS), linear minimum mean square error(LMMSE), and our proposed historical information based basis expansion model(Hi BEM). We analyze the performance of the Hi BEM estimator in terms of mean square error(MSE) and evaluate the system throughputs with different channel estimates over each scenario. Simulation results are then provided to corroborate our proposed studies. | 20 | V2V Channel Characterization and Modeling for Underground Parking Garages显示文摘As an important part of the intelligent transportation system(ITS),vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)communication will improve the safety and efficiency of the transportation system by realizing the information transmission between vehicles.The underground parking garage is a typical scenario in V2V communication,but as an indoor environment,it is different from the conventional outdoor road scenarios significantly.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to analyze and model the V2V channel characteristics of an underground garage.In this paper,a novel channel measurement carried out in the underground garage is first introduced.Considering that there are a lot of obstacles in an underground garage,the non-line-of-sight(NLoS)condition is taken into account during the measurement.Then,channel characteristic parameters,including large-scale fading,delay spread,and K-factor,are analyzed based on the measured data.In addition,we also carry out channel angle of arrival analysis,show the distribution of azimuth of arrival(AOA)and elevation of arrival(EOA)of multipath components(MPC),and conduct a statistical analysis of the angular spread.In the process of analysis and modeling,we focus on the differences between line-of-sight(LoS)and NLoS conditions.The analysis and conclusions presented in this paper will enrich the understanding of V2V channel and benefit the design of V2V communications. | Mi Yang Bo Ai Ruisi He Liang Chen Xue Li Jianzhi Li Zhangdui Zhong | 2019 | China Communications2019,16,9: | 1 |
