1Programmable time-domain digital-coding metasurface for non-linear harmonic manipulation and new wireless communication systems显示文摘Optical non-linear phenomena are typically observed in natural materials interacting with light at high intensities, and they benefit a diverse range of applications from communication to sensing. However,controlling harmonic conversion with high efficiency and flexibility remains a major issue in modern optical and radio-frequency systems. Here, we introduce a dynamic time-domain digital-coding metasurface that enables efficient manipulation of spectral harmonic distribution. By dynamically modulating the local phase of the surface reflectivity, we achieve accurate control of different harmonics in a highly programmable and dynamic fashion, enabling unusual responses, such as velocity illusion. As a relevant application, we propose and realize a novel architecture for wireless communication systems based on the time-domain digital-coding metasurface, which largely simplifies the architecture of modern communication systems, at the same time yielding excellent performance for real-time signal transmission. 3Phylogeny and Classifcation of Prunus sensu lato (Rosaceae)显示文摘The classifcation of the economically important genus Prunus L.sensu lato(s.l.)is controversial due to the high levels of convergent or the parallel evolution of morphological characters.In the present study,phylogenetic analyses of ffteen main segregates of Prunus s.l.represented by eighty-four species were conducted with maximum parsimony and Bayesian approaches using twelve chloroplast regions(atpB-rbcL,matK,ndhF,psbA-trnH,rbcL,rpL16,rpoC1,rps16,trnS-G,trnL,trnL-F and ycf1)and three nuclear genes(ITS,s6pdh and SbeI)to explore their infrageneric relationships.The results of these analyses were used to develop a new,phylogeny-based classifcation of Prunus s.l.Our phylogenetic reconstructions resolved three main clades of Prunus s.l.with strong supports.We adopted a broad-sensed genus,Prunus,and recognised three subgenera corresponding to the three main clades:subgenus Padus,subgenus Cerasus and subgenus Prunus.Seven sections of subgenus Prunus were recognised.The dwarf cherries,which were previously assigned to subgenus Cerasus,were included in this subgenus Prunus.One new section name,Prunus L.subgenus Prunus section Persicae(T.T.Yü&L.T.Lu)S.L.Zhou and one new species name,Prunus tianshanica(Pojarkov)S.Shi,were proposed.Shuo Shi Jinlu Li Jiahui Sun Jing Yu Shiliang Zhou 2013Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2013,55,11:18
4Hidden policy ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption with keyword search against keyword guessing attack显示文摘Attribute-based encryption with keyword search(ABKS) enables data owners to grant their search capabilities to other users by enforcing an access control policy over the outsourced encrypted data. However,existing ABKS schemes cannot guarantee the privacy of the access structures, which may contain some sensitive private information. Furthermore, resulting from the exposure of the access structures, ABKS schemes are susceptible to an off-line keyword guessing attack if the keyword space has a polynomial size. To solve these problems, we propose a novel primitive named hidden policy ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption with keyword search(HP-CPABKS). With our primitive, the data user is unable to search on encrypted data and learn any information about the access structure if his/her attribute credentials cannot satisfy the access control policy specified by the data owner. We present a rigorous selective security analysis of the proposed HP-CPABKS scheme, which simultaneously keeps the indistinguishability of the keywords and the access structures. 7Addition of prokinetics to PPI therapy in gastroesophageal reflux disease:A meta-analysis显示文摘AIM:To investigate the efficacy of adding prokinetics to proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).METHODS:PubMed,Cochrane Library,and Web of Knowledge databases(prior to October 2013)were systematically searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that compared therapeutic efficacy of PPI alone(single therapy)or PPI plus prokinetics(combined therapy)for GERD.The primary outcome of those selected trials was complete or partial relief of non-erosive reflux disease symptoms or mucosal healing in erosive reflux esophagitis.Using the test of heterogeneity,we established a fixed or random effects model where the risk ratio was the primary readout for measuring efficacy.RESULTS:Twelve RCTs including 2403 patients in total were enrolled in this study.Combined therapy was not associated with significant relief of symptoms or alterations in endoscopic response relative to single therapy(95%CI:1.0-1.2,P=0.05;95%CI:0.66-2.61,P=0.44).However,combined therapy was associated with a greater symptom score change(95%CI:2.14-3.02,P<0.00001).Although there was a reduction in the number of reflux episodes in GERD[95%CI:-5.96-(-1.78),P=0.0003]with the combined therapy,there was no significant effect on acid exposure time(95%CI:-0.37-0.60,P=0.65).The proportion of patients with adverse effects undergoing combined therapy was significantly higher than for PPI therapy alone(95%CI:1.06-1.36,P=0.005)when the difference between 5-HT receptor agonist and PPI combined therapy and single therapy(95%CI:0.84-1.39,P=0.53)was excluded.CONCLUSION:Combined therapy may partially improve patient quality of life,but has no significant effect on symptom or endoscopic response of GERD.Li-Hua Ren Wei-Xu Chen Li-Juan Qian Shuo Li Min Gu Rui-Hua Shi 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,9:14

9Micro RNA-1290 promotes esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cell proliferation and metastasis显示文摘AIM:To investigate the biological role of mi R-1290 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) progression and invasion and the underlying mechanism.METHODS:Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR) was performed to evaluate mi R-1290 expression in ESCC tissue samples.The roles of mi R-1290 in cell proliferation,migration and invasion were identified using mi R-1290 mimic-transfected cells.In addition,the regulatory effect of mi R-1290 on suppressor of cancer cell invasion(SCAI) was evaluated using q RT-PCR,Western blot analysis and a dual luciferase reporter assay.RESULTS:mi R-1290 was significantly upregulated in ESCC tissue samples compared with normal adjacent tissues(9.213 ± 1.150 vs 1.000 ± 0.0),(P < 0.01).Upregulation of mi R-1290 was associated with tumor differentiation(P = 0.021),N classification(P = 0.006) and tumor-node-metastasis stage(P = 0.021) in ESCC patients.Moreover,ectopic mi R-1290 expression potently promoted ESCC cell growth(P < 0.01),migration(P < 0.01) and invasion(P < 0.01) in vitro.mi R-1290 overexpression in ESCC cell lines decreased SCAI expression at the translational level and reduced SCAI-driven luciferase-reporter activity(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:Our findings suggested that mi R-1290 may play an oncogenic role in cellular processes of ESCC.Ming Li Xiao-Yan He Zhi-Mei Zhang Shuo Li Li-Hua Ren Ri-Sheng Cao Ya-Dong Feng Yin-Lin Ji Ye Zhao Rui-Hua Shi 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,11:13

11Genome Characteristics and Evolution of Pseudorabies Virus Strains in Eastern China from 2017 to 2019显示文摘Since late 2011,outbreaks of pseudorabies virus(PRV)have occurred in southern China causing major economic losses to the pig industry.We previously reported that variant PRV forms and recombination in China could be the source of continued epidemics.Here,we analyzed samples from intensive pig farms in eastern China between 2017 and 2019,and sequenced the main glycoproteins(gB,gC,gD,and gE)to study the evolution characteristics of PRV.Based on the gC gene,we found that PRV variants belong to clade 2 and detected a founder effect during by the PRV epidemic.In addition,we detected inter-and intra-clade recombination;in particular,inter-clade recombination in the gB genes of strains FJ-ZXF and FJ-W2,which were recombinant with clade 1 strains.We also found specific amino-acid changes and positively selected sites,possibly associated with functional changes.This analysis of the emergence of PRV in China illustrates the need for continuous monitoring and the development of vaccines against specific variants of PRV.Xiaofeng Zhai Wen Zhao Kemang Li Cheng Zhang Congcong Wang Shuo Su Jiyong Zhou Jing Lei Gang Xing Haifeng Sun Zhiyu Shi Jinyan Gu 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,6:12
12Analysis of optimal initial glide conditions for hypersonic glide vehicles显示文摘Hypersonic glide vehicles(HGVs) are launched by a solid booster and glide through the atmosphere at high speeds. HGVs will be important means for rapid long-range delivery in the future. Given that the glide is unpowered, the initial glide conditions(IGCs) are crucial for flight. This paper aims to find the optimal IGCs to improve the maneuverability and decrease the constraints of HGVs. By considering the IGCs as experiment factors, we design an orthogonal table with three factors that have five levels each by using the orthogonal experimental design method. Thereafter, we apply the Gauss pseudospectral method to perform glide trajectory optimization by using each test of the orthogonal table as the initial condition. Based on the analytic hierarchy process, an integrated indicator is established to evaluate the IGCs, which synthesizes the indexes of the maneuverability and constraints. The integrated indicator is calculated from the trajectory optimization results. 13Value of early diagnosis of sepsis complicated with acute kidney injury by renal contrast-enhanced ultrasound显示文摘BACKGROUND The incidence of acute kidney injury(AKI)in patients with sepsis is high,and the prognosis of patients with septic AKI is poor.The early diagnosis and treatment of septic AKI is of great significance in improving the prognosis of patients with sepsis.AIM To explore the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS),serum creatinine(Scr),and other indicators in the early diagnosis of septic AKI.METHODS Ninety patients with sepsis during hospitalization at Tongji Hospital of Tongji University were recruited as subjects.Each patient was recorded with relevant basic data,clinical indicators,and CEUS results.The patients were divided into AKI group and non-AKI group according to the results of renal function diagnosis after 48 h.On the 7th day,the renal function of the non-AKI group was re-evaluated and the patients were further divided into AKI subgroup and non-AKI subgroup.The differences of the indicators in different groups were compared,and the diagnostic value of each indicator and their combination for septic AKI was analyzed.RESULTS Systemic inflammatory response score(2.58±0.75),blood lactic acid(3.01±1.33 mmol/L),Scr(141.82±27.19μmol/L),blood urea nitrogen(4.41±0.81mmol/L),and rise time(10.23±2.63 s)in the AKI group were higher than those in the non-AKI group.Peak intensity(PI)(10.78±3.98 dB)and wash in slope(WIS)(1.07±0.53 dB/s)were lower than those in the non-AKI group.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The PI(12.83±3.77 dB)and WIS(1.22±0.68 dB/s)in the AKI subgroup were lower than those in the non-AKI subgroup,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The area under curve(AUC)of Scr for the diagnosis of septic AKI was 0.825 with a sensitivity of 56.76% and a specificity of 100%.The AUCs of WIS and PI(0.928 and 0.912)were higher than those of Scr.Their sensitivities were 100%,but the specificities were 71.70% and 75.47%.The AUC of the combination of three indicators for the diagnosis of septic AKI was 0.943,which was significantly higher than the AUC diagnosed by each single indicator.The sensitivity was 94.59%,and the specificity was 81.13%.CONCLUSION The combination of Scr,PI,and WIS can improve the diagnostic accuracy of septic AKI.PI and WIS are expected to predict the occurrence of early septic AKI.Xiu-Yan Wang Yan-Ping Pang Tian Jiang Shuo Wang Jiang-Tao Li Bao-Min Shi Chen Yu 2019World Journal of Clinical Cases2019,7,23:10
14^11C-PIBPET和^18F-FDGPET显像诊断阿尔茨海默病与遗忘型轻度认知损害的临床价值显示文摘目的应用11C-PIB PET和18F-FDG PET显像研究阿尔茨海默病和遗忘型轻度认知损害患者β-淀粉样蛋白(Aβ)沉积与葡萄糖代谢之间的关系,联合载脂蛋白E(ApoE)基因型进一步探讨遗忘型轻度认知损害与阿尔茨海默病的相关性。方法利用PET显像对阿尔茨海默病(14例)、遗忘型轻度认知损害(10例)和正常对照者(5例)脑组织Aβ沉积和葡萄糖代谢变化进行分析,采用聚合酶链反应-限制性片段长度多态性方法对ApoE基因型进行分析。结果阿尔茨海默病组患者11C-PIB标准化摄取比值在下顶叶、颞叶外侧、额叶、后扣带回皮质和楔前叶、枕叶和纹状体均高于正常对照组(P<0.05);遗忘型轻度认知损害组患者脑组织11C-PIB结合水平呈双峰形。11C-PIB+aMCI亚组与阿尔茨海默病组、11C-PIB-aMCI亚组与正常对照组之间11C-PIB标准化摄取比值差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。18F-FDG PET显像显示,3/5例11C-PIB+aMCI亚组患者双侧顶叶、颞叶和楔前叶代谢减低,其中2例ApoEε4等位基因携带者随访期间进展至阿尔茨海默病;3/5例11C-PIB-aMCI亚组患者双侧额叶和前扣带回代谢减低。结论11C-PIB PET显像是筛查具有阿尔茨海默病病理特点的遗忘型轻度认知损害患者的有效工具。具有阿尔茨海默病病理特征的遗忘型轻度认知损害患者可伴有顶叶、颞叶外侧皮质和楔前叶代谢减低,其中ApoEε4等位基因携带者更易进展至阿尔茨海默病痴呆。Shi Zhihong Wang Ying Liu Shuai Liu Shuling Z hou Yuying Wang Jinhuan Cai Li Gao Shuo Ji Yong 2014中国现代神经疾病杂志2014,14,3:8
15Mutation profile and its correlation with clinicopathology in Chinese hepatocellular carcinoma patients显示文摘Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common causes of cancer worldwide.Although many studies have focused on oncogene characteristics,the genomic landscape of Chinese HCC patients has not been fully clarified.Methods:A total of 165 HCC patients,including 146 males and 19 females,were enrolled.The median age was 55 years(range,27-78 years).Corresponding clinical and pathological information was collected for further analysis.A total of 168 tumor tissues from these patients were selected for next-generation sequencing(NGS)-based 450 panel gene sequencing.Genomic alterations including single nucleotide variations(SNV),short and long insertions and deletions(InDels),copy number variations,and gene rearrangements were analyzed.Tumor mutational burden(TMB)was measured by an algorithm developed in-house.The top quartile of HCC was classified as TMB high.Results:A total of 1,004 genomic alterations were detected from 258 genes in 168 HCC tissues.TMB values were identified in 160 HCC specimens,with a median TMB of 5.4 Muts/Mb(range,0-28.4 Muts/Mb)and a 75%TMB of 7.7 Muts/Mb.The most commonly mutated genes were TP53,TERT,CTNNB1,AXIN1,RB1,TSC2,CCND1,ARID1A,and FGF19.SNV was the most common mutation type and C:G>T:A and guanine transformation were the most common SNVs.Compared to wild-type patients,the proportion of Edmondson grade III-IV and microvascular invasion was significantly higher in TP53 mutated patients(P<0.05).The proportion of tumors invading the hepatic capsule was significantly higher in TERT mutated patients(P<0.05).The proportion of Edmondson grade I-II,alpha fetoprotein(AFP)<25μmg/L,and those without a history of hepatitis B was significantly higher in CTNNB1 mutated patients(P<0.05).CTNNB1 mutations were associated with TMB high in HCC patients(P<0.05).Based on correlation analysis,the mutation of TP53 was independently correlated with microvascular invasion(P=0.002,OR=3.096)and Edmondson grade III-IV(P=0.008,OR=2.613).The mutation of TERT was independently correlated with tumor invasion of the liver capsule(P=0.001,OR=3.030),and the mutation of CTNNB1 was independently correlated with AFP(<25μmg/L)(P=0.009,OR=3.414).Conclusions:The most frequently mutated genes of HCC patients in China were TP53,TERT,and CTNNB1,which mainly lead to the occurrence and development of HCC by regulating the P53 pathway,Wnt pathway,and telomere repair pathway.There were more patients with microvascular invasion and Edmondson III-IV grade in TP53 mutated patients and more patients with hepatic capsule invasion in TERT mutated patients,while in CTNNB1 mutated patients,there were more patients with Edmondson I-II grade,AFP<25μmg/L,and a non-hepatitis B background.Also,the TMB values were significantly higher in CTNNB1 mutated patients than in wild type patients.Shuo Wang Huasheng Shi Tao Liu Manjiang Li Sanshun Zhou Xuan Qiu Zusen Wang Weiyu Hu Weidong Guo Xiaoqian Chen Honglin Guo Xiaoliang Shi Junping Shi Yunjin Zang Jingyu Cao Liqun Wu 2021Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,2:8

17Drainage fluid and serum amylase levels accurately predict development of postoperative pancreatic fistula显示文摘AIM To investigate potential biomarkers for predicting postoperative pancreatic fistula( POPF) after pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD).METHODS We prospectively recruited 83 patients to this study. All patients underwent PD(Child's procedure) at the Division of Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgery at the First Bethune Hospital of Jilin University between June 2011 and April 2015. Data pertaining to demographic variables, clinical characteristics, texture of pancreas, surgical approach, histopathological results, white blood cell count, amylase and choline levels in the serum, pancreatic/gastric drainage fluid, and choline and amylase levels in abdominal drainage fluid were included in the analysis. Potential correlations between these parameters and postoperative complications such as, POPF, acute pancreatitis, hemorrhage, delayed gastric emptying, and biliary fistula, were assessed. RESULTS Twenty-eight out of the 83(33.7%) patients developed POPF. The severity of POPF was classified as Grade A in 8(28%) patients, grade B in 16(58%), and grade C in4(14%), according to the pancreatic fistula criteria. On univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses, higher amylase level in the abdominal drainage fluid on postoperative day(POD)1 and higher serum amylase levels on POD4 showed a significant correlation with POPF(P < 0.05). On receiver operating characteristic curve analysis, amylase cut-off level of 2365.5 U/L in the abdominal drainage fluid was associated with a 78.6% sensitivity and 80% specificity [area under the curve(AUC): 0.844; P = 0.009]. 19The expression and binding properties of the rice WRKY68 protein in the Xa21-mediated resistance response to Xanthomonas oryzae pv. Oryzae显示文摘Plant WRKY transcription factors are involved in various physiological processes, including biotic and abiotic stress responses, as well as developmental processes. In this study, the expression patterns of the WRKY68 protein during interactions between rice 4021 containing the bacterial blight resistance gene Xa21 and Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae(Xoo) were investigated. A possible modified form of the WRKY68 protein appeared in the Xa21-mediated disease resistance response, and its expression levels were similar in compatible and incompatible responses, but differed significantly from that of the mock control treatment, suggesting that WRKY68 may be involved in the bacterial blight response in rice. To further understand WRKY68's roles in the resistance signaling pathway, WRKY68 recombinant protein was expressed in Escherichia coli and a microscale thermophoresis analysis was performed to investigate the interactions between WRKY68 and cis-elements in crucial pathogenesis-related(PR) genes. The results showed that the WRKY68 protein binds to W-boxes in the PR1 b promoter region, with an apparent dissociation constant of 25 nmol L–1, while the binding between WRKY68 and PR10 a was W-box independent. The results suggested that a possible modified form of the WRKY68 protein was induced during the interaction between rice and Xoo, which then regulated the activity of the downstream PR genes by binding with the W-boxes in the PR1 b gene's promoter region. 20Promoter methylation of Wnt/β-Catenin signal inhibitor TMEM88 is associated with unfavorable prognosis of nonsmall cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective:Recent research has indicated that altered promoter methylation of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes is an important mechanism in lung cancer development and progression.In this study,we investigated the association between promoter methylation of TMEM88,a possible inhibitor of the Wnt/β-Catenin signaling,and the survival of patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:Twelve pairs of tumor and adjacent non-tumor samples were used for microarray analyses of DNA methylation and gene expression.For validation,more than two hundred additional samples were analyzed for methylation using bisulfite pyrosequencing and for gene expression using q RT-PCR.Then the cell function were tested by wound healing,transwell,CCK8 and cell cycle assay.Results:Our analysis of patient specimens showed that TMEM88 methylation was higher in NSCLC tumors(82.2%±10.3,P<0.01)compared with the adjacent normal tissues(65.9%±7.2).The survival analysis revealed that patients with high TMEM88methylation had a shorter overall survival(46 months)compared with patients with low TMEM88 methylation(>56 months;P=0.021).In addition,we found that demethylation treatment could inhibit tumor cell proliferation,migration,and invasion,which was supportive of an association between methylation and survival.Conclusions:Based on these consistent observations,we concluded that TMEM88 may play an important role in NSCLC progression and that promoter methylation of TMEM88 may serve as a biomarker for NSCLC prognosis and treatment.Rongna Ma Nannan Feng Xiao Yu Hongyan Lin Xiaohong Zhang Oumin Shi Huan Zhang Shuo Zhang Lei Li Min Zheng Ming Gao Herbert Yu Biyun Qian 2017Cancer Biology & Medicine2017,14,4:6
