| 1 | Artificial Intelligence-Empowered Resource Management for Future Wireless Communications: A Survey显示文摘How to explore and exploit the full potential of artificial intelligence(AI)technologies in future wireless communications such as beyond 5G(B5G)and 6G is an extremely hot inter-disciplinary research topic around the world.On the one hand,AI empowers intelligent resource management for wireless communications through powerful learning and automatic adaptation capabilities.On the other hand,embracing AI in wireless communication resource management calls for new network architecture and system models as well as standardized interfaces/protocols/data formats to facilitate the large-scale deployment of AI in future B5G/6G networks.This paper reviews the state-of-art AI-empowered resource management from the framework perspective down to the methodology perspective,not only considering the radio resource(e.g.,spectrum)management but also other types of resources such as computing and caching.We also discuss the challenges and opportunities for AI-based resource management to widely deploy AI in future wireless communication networks. | Mengting Lin Youping Zhao | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,3: | 11 |

| 3 | Assessment on alien herbicide-resistant gene flow among crucifers by sexual compatibility显示文摘Cross-pollination and high cross-compatibility are frequently found in many cruciferous plants, which im-plies that there might be potential risk of alien gene flow among crucifers. In this work, the alien glyphosate-resistant gene flow between GM (Genetically modified) rapeseed vari-ety Q3 (Brassica napus) and 6 varieties from 5 cruciferous species was assessed by sexual compatibility through aniline blue fluorescence observation, manual cross, mentor pollina-tion with the mixture pollen and DNA identification. The results indicated that the compatibility indices of two B. napus varieties, B. juncea var. multiceps Tsen et Lee and Chinese cabbage (B. chinensis) (as female) with Q3 (as male) were 16.15, 12.77, 2.345 and 0.85, respectively. F1 plants were examined by PCR and all of these samples were confirmed as positive. Crossing between Orychophragmus violaceus, Des-curainia sophia (as female) and Q3 (as male) expressed high cross-incompatibility. Fluorescence microscope observation indicated that growing of pollen tube terminated at the upper 1/3 part of the style of O. violaceus and on the stigma surface of D. sophia. The mentor plants were further analyzed by PCR and all were shown to be negative. Under the neighboring growth and natural pollination conditions, the rates of gene flow to two B. napus varieties were 2.3278% and 2.1487%, respectively, B. juncea var. multiceps Tsen et Lee and Chinese cabbage were 1.0157% and 0.9236%, re-spectively. No gene flow was observed in O. violaceus and D. sophia. Frequency of gene flow was highly correlated with sexual compatibility. | 8 | Co-location of QTL for Sclerotinia stem rot resistance and flowering time in Brassica napus显示文摘Sclerotinia stem rot(SSR) caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum(Lib.) de Bary is one of the most devastating diseases of Brassica napus worldwide. Both SSR resistance and flowering time(FT) adaptation are major breeding goals in B. napus. However, early maturing rapeseed varieties, which are important for rice-rapeseed rotation in China, are often highly susceptible to SSR. Here, we found that SSR resistance was significantly negatively correlated with FT in a natural population containing 521 rapeseed inbred lines and a double haploid(DH) population with 150 individual lines, both of which had great variation in FT. Four chromosomal regions on A2, A6, C2, and C8 affecting both SSR resistance and FT were identified using quantitative trait loci(QTL) mapping after constructing a high-density genetic map based on single nucleotide polymorphism markers in the DH population.Furthermore, we aligned QTL for the two traits identified in the present and previous studies to the B. napus reference genome, and identified four colocalized QTL hotspots of SSR resistance and FT on A2(0–7.7 Mb), A3(0.8–7.5 Mb), C2(0–15.2 Mb), and C6(20.2–36.6 Mb). | 13 | The use of machine learning to predict the effects of cryoprotective agents on the GelMA-based bioinks used in extrusion cryobioprinting显示文摘Cryobioprinting has tremendous potential to solve problems to do with lack of shelf availability in traditional bioprinting by combining extrusion bioprinting and cryopreservation.In order to ensure the viability of cells in the frozen state and avoid the possible toxicity of dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),DMSO-free bioink design is critical for achieving successful cryobioprinting.A nontoxic gelatin methacryloyl-based bioink used in cryobioprinting is composed of cryoprotective agents(CPAs)and a buffer solution.The selection and ratio of CPAs in the bioink directly affect the survival of cells in the frozen state.However,the development of universal and efficient cryoprotective bioinks requires extensive experimentation.We first compared two commonly used CPA formulations via experiments in this study.Results show that the effect of using ethylene glycol as the permeable CPA was 6.07%better than that of glycerol.Two datasets were obtained and four machinelearning models were established to predict experimental outcomes.The predictive powers of multiple linear regression(MLR),decision tree(DT),random forest(RF),and artificial neural network(ANN)approaches were compared,suggesting an order of ANN>RF>DT>MLR.The final selected ANN model was then applied to another dataset.Results reveal that this machine-learning method can accurately predict the effects of cryoprotective bioinks composed of different CPAs.Outcomes also suggest that the formulations presented here have universality.Our findings are likely to greatly accelerate research and development on the use of bioinks for cryobioprinting. | Qian Qiao Xiang Zhang Zhenhao Yan Chuanyu Hou Juanli Zhang Yong He Na Zhao Shujie Yan Youping Gong Qian Li | 2023 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2023,6,4: | 0 |
| 14 | Gene flow from transgenic oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) to cruciferous weeds under mentor pollen inducement显示文摘The alien gene flow between genetically modified glyphosate-resistant rapeseed variety Q3 (Brassica napus L.) and four cruciferous weeds was studied under mentor pollen inducement. The results showed that when Thlaspi arvense L., Capsella bursa-pastoris (L.) Medic, Cardamine hirsuta L. and Rorippa palustris (L.) Besser were pollinated with mentor pollen, the mixed Q3 and the weed, pollen grains aggregated largely and germinated quickly, and the numbers of pollen tubes penetrating into the style and the ovary were greatly increased as compared with corresponding self-pollination groups. Twenty four to forty eight hours after pollination, several pollen tubes were observed to penetrate into the ovule via micropyle in each mentor combination. However, when the mentor progenies were analyzed by PCR, all of them showed negative for the Q3 herbicide-resistant gene.
