| 1 | β-catenin activation in hair follicle dermal stem cells in duces ectopic hair outgrowth and skin fibrosis显示文摘Hair follicle dermal sheath(DS)harbors hair follicle dermal stem cells(hfDSCs),which can be recruited to replenish DS and dermal papilla(DP).Cultured DS cells can differentiate into various cell lineages in vitro.However,it is unclear how its plasticity is modulated in vivo.Wnt/β-catenin signaling plays an important role in maintaining stem cells of various lineages and is required for HF development and regeneration.Here we report that activation ofβ-catenin in DS generates ectopic HF outgrowth(EF)by reprogramming HF epidermal cells and DS cells themselves,and endows DS cells with hair inducing ability.Epidermal homeostasis of pre-existing HFs is disrupted.Additionally,cell-autonomous progressive skin fibrosis is prominent in dermis,where the excessive fibroblasts largely originate from DS.Gene expression analysis of purified DS cells with activatedβ-catenin revealed significantly increased expression of Bmp,Fgf,and Notch ligands and administration of Bmp,Fgf,or Notch signaling inhibitor attenuates EF formation.In summary,our findings advance the current knowledge of high plasticity of DS cells and provide an insight into understanding how Wnt/β-catenin signaling controls DS cell behaviors. | Yixin Tao Qingchun Yang Lei Wang Jie Zhang Xuming Zhu Qianqian Sun Yunbin Han Qian Luo Yushu Wang Xizhi Guo Ji Wu Baojie Li Xiao Yang Lin He Gang Ma | 2019 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2019,11,1: | 4 |

| 9 | Selenium-containing core-expanded naphthalene diimides for high performance n-type organic semiconductors显示文摘The incorporation of heavy atoms into molecular backbone is an extremely straightforward strategy for fine-tuning the optoelectronic properties of organic semiconductors.However,it is rarely studied in n-type small molecules.Herein,by selenium substitution of NDI3 HU-DTYM2,two Se-decorated core-expanded naphthalene diimides(NDI)derivatives DTYM-NDI3 HUDSYM(1)and NDI3 HU-DSYM2(2)were synthesized.In comparison with the reference S-containing compound NDI3 HUDTYM2,the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)energy levels of 1 and 2 were fine-tuned with?HOMO of about 0.2 e V,?LUMO of 0.1 e V and the narrowed HOMO-LUMO gaps.More surprisingly,the as-spun organic thin film transistors(OTFTs)based on 1 and 2 both showedμe,satvalues as high as1.0 cm2 V-1 s-1,which are 2-fold higher than that of NDI3 HU-DTYM2 with the same device structure and measurement conditions.In addition,the single crystal OFET devices based on Se-containing compound NDI2 BO-DSYM2 showed a highμe,satvalue of 1.30 cm2 V-1 s-1.The molecular packing of NDI2 BO-DSYM2 in single crystals(two-dimensional supramolecular structure formed by intermolecular Se···Se interactions)is quite different from that of a S-containing compound NDI-DTYM2(one dimensional supramolecular structure formed by intermolecularπ-πstacking).Therefore,the Se substitution can cause dramatic change about molecular stacking model,giving rise to high n-type OTFT performance.Our results demonstrated an effective strategy of the heavy atom effect for designing novel organic semiconductors. | Wenjie Han Zhongli Wang Yunbin Hu Xiaodi Yang Congwu Ge Xike Gao | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,9: | 0 |

| 11 | Development and Application of a Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis Case Management System—Yunnan Province,China,2017–2020显示文摘Introduction:Treatment and case management of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis(MDR-TB)is a significant challenge in tuberculosis(TB)control and prevention.This pilot study aims to apply and test a new electronic information system in order to help bolster case management of MDR-TB.Methods:The MDR-TB Case Management System(CMS)was developed and piloted in the Yunnan Tuberculosis Clinical Center(TCC)in 2017.Next,5 sites in Yunnan were randomly selected and sampled as pilots in 2018.The real-time regular follow-up rate(RFUR)was calculated for pilot sites.Loss to follow-up(LTFU)rates of MDR-TB treatment cohorts between pilot and non-pilot sites were compared by a chi-square test.LTFU for MDR-TB treatment cohorts was then assessed by univariate and multivariate binary logistic regression.Results:The average regular follow-up rate was 90.7%in TCC and 73.7%in five other pilot sites of Yunnan Province respectively.The average LTFU rate for pilot sites(9.0%)was lower than non-pilot sites(20.6%,P<0.01).The risk of LTFU during MDR-TB treatment reduced 61.7%in CMS pilot cases(adjusted odds ratio:0.38,95%confidence interval:0.23–0.60)compared with non-pilot cases.Conclusions:As a significant supplement to the Tuberculosis Information Management System,the CMS strengthened the collection,analysis,and utilization of strategic information for MDR-TB cases.The system improved case management by embedding it as a tool of the Comprehensive Supportive Care service model. | Jinou Chen Yunzhou Ruan Kai Wang Ling Li Yunbin Yang Rui Yang Lin Xu | 2022 | China CDC weekly2022,4,38: | 0 |
