1High performance and stability of double perovskite-type oxide NdBa0.5Ca0.5Co1.5Fe0.5O5+δas an oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide electrochemical cell显示文摘In this study,we successfully synthesized double perovskite-type oxide NdBa0.5Ca0.5Co1.5Fe0.5O5+δ(NBCCF)using a conventional wet chemical method as the oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide electrochemical cells(RSOCs).The polarization resistance(Rp)of the composite electrode NBCCFGd0.1Ce0.9O2(GDC)is only 0.079Ωcm^2 at 800℃under air.The single cell based on NBCCF-GDC electrode displays a peak power density of 0.941 W/cm^2 in fuel cell mode and a low Rp value of 0.134Ωcm^2.In electrolysis cell mode,the cell displays an outstanding oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity and shows current density as high as 0.92 A/cm^2 with 50 vol%AH(Absolute Humidity)at 800℃and applied voltage of 1.3 V.Most importantly,the cell exhibits admirable durability of 60 h both in electrolysis mode and fuel cell mode with distinguished reversibility.All these results suggest that NBCCF is a promising candidate electrode for RSOC.Yunfeng Tian Yun Liu Wenjie Wang Lichao Jia Jian Pu Bo Chi Jian Li 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:4

3Pd-La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3-δ)composite as active and stable oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide cells显示文摘To promote the electrocatalytic activity and stability of traditional(a_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3-δ)(LSCF)oxygen electrodes in reversible solid oxide cells(RSOCs),conventional physical mixed method was used to prepare the Pd-LSCF composite oxygen electrode.The cell with Pd-LSCF|GDC|YSZ|Ni-YSZ configuration shows perfect electrochemical performance in both solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)mode and solid oxide electrolysis cell(SOEC)mode.In the SOFC mode,the cell achieves a power density of 1.73 W/cm^(2)at800℃higher than that of the LSCF oxygen electrode with 1.38 W/cm^(2).In the SOEC mode,the current density at 1.5 V is 1.67 A/cm^(2)at 800℃under 50 vol%steam concentration.Moreover,the reversibility and stability of the RSOCs were tested during 192 h long-term reversible operation.The degradation rate of the cell is only 2.2%/100 h and 2.5%/100 h in the SOEC and the SOFC modes,respectively.These results confirm that compositing Pd with the LSCF oxygen electrode can considerably boost the electrochemical performance of LSCF electrode in RSOCs field.Rui Yang Yunfeng Tian Yun Liu Jian Pu Bo Chi 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,4:1
4Transcriptome and weighted gene co-expression network analysis of jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)fruit reveal putative genes involved in proanthocyanin biosynthesis and regulation显示文摘Proanthocyanidin(PA)is an important bioactive compound with multiple physiological benefits in jujube(Ziziphus jujube Mill.).However,the molecular mechanisms underlying PA biosynthesis in jujube fruit have not been investigated.Here,the profiling of PA,(+)-catechin and(–)-epicatechin and transcriptome sequencing of three jujube cultivars from Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China at five developmental stages were analyzed.The levels of total PAs and catechin exhibited a decreased trend over jujube ripening,and epicatechin content of two jujube cultivars increased first and then declined.Transcriptome analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were mainly enriched in ribosome,glycolysis/gluconeogenesis,fructose and mannose metabolism.17 DEGs encoding PAL,CHS,CHI,CHS,F3'H,LAR,ANR,C4Hs,4CLs,FLSs,DFRs and UFGTs involved in PA biosynthesis were relatively abundant.The highly transcribed LAR gene may greatly contribute to epicatechin accumulation.A weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)was performed,and a network module including 1620 genes highly correlated with content of Pas and catechin was established.We identified 58 genes including 9 structural genes and 49 regulatory genes related to PA biosynthesis and regulation in the WGCNA module.Sixteen genes encoding 9 families of transcriptional factors(i.e.,MYB,bHLH,ERF,bZIP,NAC,SBP,MIKC,HB,WRKY)were considered as hub genes.The results of qRT-PCR analysis validating 10 genes were well consistent with the transcriptome data.These findings provide valuable knowledge to facilitate its genetic studies and molecular breeding.Wenqiang Wang Yunfeng Pu Hao Wen Dengyang Lu Min Yan Minzhe Liu Minyu Wu Hongjin Bai Lirong Shen Cuiyun Wu 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,5:1

6MST4 kinase regulates immune thrombocytopenia by phosphorylating STAT1-mediated M1 polarization of macrophages显示文摘Primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)is an autoimmune hemorrhagic disorder in which macrophages play a critical role.Mammalian sterile-20-like kinase 4(MST4),a member of the germinal-center kinase STE20 family,has been demonstrated to be a regulator of inflammation.Whether MST4 participates in the macrophage-dependent inflammation of ITP remains elusive.The expression and function of MST4 in macrophages of ITP patients and THP-1 cells,and of a macrophage-specific Mst4−/−(Mst4ΔM/ΔM)ITP mouse model were determined.Macrophage phagocytic assays,RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)analysis,immunofluorescence analysis,coimmunoprecipitation(co-IP),mass spectrometry(MS),bioinformatics analysis,and phosphoproteomics analysis were performed to reveal the underlying mechanisms.The expression levels of the MST4 gene were elevated in the expanded M1-like macrophages of ITP patients,and this elevated expression of MST4 was restored to basal levels in patients with remission after high-dose dexamethasone treatment.The expression of the MST4 gene was significantly elevated in THP-1-derived M1 macrophages.Silencing of MST4 decreased the expression of M1 macrophage markers and cytokines,and impaired phagocytosis,which could be increased by overexpression of MST4.In a passive ITP mouse model,macrophage-specific depletion of Mst4 reduced the numbers of M1 macrophages in the spleen and peritoneal lavage fluid,attenuated the expression of M1 cytokines,and promoted the predominance of FcγRIIb in splenic macrophages,which resulted in amelioration of thrombocytopenia.Downregulation of MST4 directly inhibited STAT1 phosphorylation,which is essential for M1 polarization of macrophages.Our study elucidates a critical role for MST4 kinase in the pathology of ITP and identifies MST4 kinase as a potential therapeutic target for refractory ITP.Jingjing Cao Lili Ji Yanxia Zhan Xia Shao Pengcheng Xu Boting Wu Pu Chen Luya Cheng Xibing Zhuang Yang Ou Fanli Hua Lihua Sun Feng Li Hao Chen Zhaocai Zhou Yunfeng Cheng 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,12:0

8Differentiation of Algal Blooms and Aquatic Vegetation in Chinese Lakes Using Modified Vegetation Presence Frequency Index Method显示文摘Algal blooms in lakes have become a common global environmental problem. Nowadays, remote sensing is widely used to monitor algal blooms in lakes due to the macroscopic, fast, real-time characteristics. However, it is often difficult to distinguish between algal blooms and aquatic vegetation due to their similar spectral characteristics. In this paper, we used modified vegetation presence frequency index(VPF) based on Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) imagery to distinguish algal blooms from aquatic vegetation, and analyzed the spatial and temporal variations of algal blooms and aquatic vegetation from a phenological perspective for five large natural lakes with frequent algal bloom outbreaks in China from 2019 to 2020. We simplified the VPF method to make it with a higher spatial transferability so that it could be applied to other lakes in different climatic zones. Through accuracy validation, we found that the modified VPF method can effectively distinguish between algal blooms and aquatic vegetation, and the results vary from lake to lake. The highest accuracy of 97% was achieved in Hulun Lake, where the frequency of algal outbreaks is low and the extent of aquatic vegetation is stable, while the lowest accuracy of 76% was achieved in Dianchi Lake, which is rainy in summer and the lake is small. Analyses suggests that the time period when algal blooms occur most frequently might not coincide with that when they have the largest area. However, in most cases these two are close in terms of time period. The modified VPF method has a broad scope of application, is easy to implement, and has a high practical value. 9Mapping a stable adult-plant stripe rust resistance QTL on chromosome 6AL in Chinese wheat landrace Yibinzhuermai显示文摘Stripe rust,caused by Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici(Pst),is one of the most important diseases threatening the yield and stability of wheat production in China and many other countries.Identification and utilization of new genes for durable stripe rust resistance are important for ongoing control of this disease.The objectives of this study were to identify quantitative trait loci(QTL)associated with adult-plant stripe rust resistance in the Chinese wheat landrace Yibinzhuermai(YBZR)and to provide wheat breeders with new sources of potentially durable resistance.A total of 117 recombinant inbred lines(RILs)(F5:8)derived from a cross between YBZR and highly susceptible cultivar Taichung 29(TC29)were assessed for stripe rust severity in field experiments at Wenjiang in 2016 and 2017 and Chongzhou in 2016,2017,2018,and 2019 in Sichuan following inoculation with a mixture of current Pst races.The RILs were genotyped using the Wheat55K single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)array.Three QTL were identified on chromosome arms 6AL,5BL and 7DS.QYr.YBZR-6AL and QYr.YBZR-7DS conferred major effects in all field environments,explaining 10.6%to 14.7%and 11.5%to 21.2%of phenotypic variation,respectively.The QTL on 5BL and 7DS likely correspond to previously known QTL,whereas QYr.YBZR-6AL is probably novel.Haplotype analysis revealed that the resistance allele at QYr.YBZR-6AL was present in 2.8%of 324 Chinese wheat landraces.SNP markers closely linked with QYr.YBZR-6AL were converted to kompetitive allele-specific PCR markers and validated in the RIL population and a subset of 92 wheat cultivars.QYr.YBZR-6AL and its markers should be useful in breeding programs to improve the level and durability of stripe rust resistance.Mei Deng Li Long Yukun Cheng Fangjie Yao Fangnian Guan Yuqi Wang Hao Li Zhien Pu Wei Li Qiantao Jiang Yuming Wei Jian Ma Houyang Kang Pengfei Qi Jirui Wang Youliang Zheng Yunfeng Jiang Guoyue Chen 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,4:0
10Brief review of hydrocarbon-reforming catalysts map for hydrogen production显示文摘Hydrogen energy,the cleanest fuel,presents extensive applications in renewable energy technologies such as fuel cells.However,the transition process from carbon-based(fossil fuel)energy to desired hydrogen energy is usually hindered by inevitable scientific,technological,and economic obstacles,which mainly involves complex hydrocarbon reforming reactions.Hence,this paper provides a systematic and comprehensive analysis focusing on the hydrocarbon reforming mechanism.Accordingly,recent related studies are summarized to clarify the intrinsic difference among the reforming mechanism.Aiming to objectively assess the activated catalyst and deactivation mechanism,the rate-determining steps of reforming process have been emphasized,summarized,and analyzed.Specifically,the effect of metals and supports on individual reaction processes is discussed followed by the metalsupport interaction.Current tendency and research map could be established to promote the technology development and expansion of hydrocarbon reforming field.This review could be considered as the guideline for academics and industry designing appropriate catalysts.Qunwei Guo Jiaqi Geng Jiawen Pan Lu Zou Yunfeng Tian Bo Chi Jian Pu 2023Energy Reviews2023,2,3:0
